With the way he has been built as Champ how can Miz win in the chamber?

so ill be honest, im not the biggest miz fan, but i do like how he is being booked. he is getting the wins by hook or crook granted, but we have seen this before with kurt angle. they are building him with a huge string of victories making it where people are going to watch and order the pay per views just to see when he will lose the strap. its rather brilliant to be honest. those of us who have been craving a lenghty title run get one, the wwe get improved buy rates and ratings, and you all get something to bitch or brag about on the boards. winners all around

Good point, I think the WWE is willing to try just about anything at this point to up there PPV buys which in post-attitude era, have fluctuated up and down from good to bad, but now they're just awful. So yes, they're willing to try anything...even going back to the basics of booking a heel champ. Works for me....

That said however...I'm not holding my breath when the numbers get released.

On the subject of Miz specifically, at least he's not an afterthought like Jericho was. When Jericho would sneak away with a win, or even after he lost, or going into a big match, he seemed to be an afterthough. Someone once asked me "What did you think of the Jericho/HHH feud going into WM 18". I said, "I don't recall one happening". They said, "Umm you of all people should know they fought at 'Mania 18". I said, "Oh I know they fought, but there was no feud". They were confused..."HHH was too busy feuding with Nipple-H at the time". (of course meaning Steph).

At least Miz is at the forefront of his feuds, and his wins! Despite Punk giving him the win, Miz has already moved onto Cena, and what be shoved aside going into 'Mania.

So let me get this straight..... Cena was the champ everyone cried it's getting old same old shit. Blah blah blah. Then everyones hero Randy Orton became champ. Immediately everyone starts complaining he's lost his edge. He's better chasing the title. So they put it on the miz someone new who people thought had promise. Now he's the champ and now everyone turns on him he's to young. All he can do is talk he's a failure. Did you guys stop and think you just want to complain about who ever is champ to act like ur smarter than the bookers type shit. Last time I check ratings have been up since miz was champ. Hell I even ordered the rumble last night this is probably the Best time in wwe in years. Stop complaining. Mark my words the new Internet favorite cm punk wins the title. Then within two weeks u start ripping him apart. Who do want as champ Danile Bryant. Kofi Kingston come on. Really...

Are you suggesting that people don't already take him seriously? I mean, I get what you're saying. Miz definitely needs some more legit wins, but every heel cheats his way to victory. It's nothing new. Miz has been so much in the spotlight that I think most people do take him seriously as a champion. He's still got the belt (since early November) and he's likely to have it until WrestleMania or longer. He also won that fantastic match against John Morrison CLEAN. That, at least in my mind, was the solidifying moment in the title reign of the Miz. How can you not take a guy who is going to Main Event Wrestlemania seriously? Again, I completely understand what you're saying...but I think he's far beyond what people thought of say...Sheamus during his first title reign.

When people complain about Miz being champion, I believe they are complaining about the way the Miz is booked to win. And the reason that he is booked the way he does is because I couldn't credibly believe the Miz could win a match against Randy Orton or John Cena. It doesn't help that the Miz is a smaller guy as well. It's like he spent a year doing nothing as U.S. Champ and then all of a sudden he is WWE Champion, which honestly makes no sense to me. His only quality match has been with John Morrison and that is because Morrison is a hell of a wrestler. As far as I'm concerned, everyone is going to hate on the Miz until he gets some credible wins under his belt, because after he loses the title no one will think of him as a main eventer. And the only reason that ratings are getting better is not just because of the Miz. It's a combination of things. The Miz is only a small piece to a big puzzle.

Ha really? This again? Just sounds like another asshole trying to impress the IWC by getting on a bandwagon that has little to no facts. He's more than a transitional champion right now. He's had it for 2 months, and if the rumors are true he's supposed to keep it until atleast Mania. That's not a transitional champion. The IWC (people who bitch inconsistently like YOU, OP) wanted him to be the champ, now you're not happy. It's his first major championship, be happy for him. He's being a great champion. He's drawing good HEAT because he's a HEEL. He has a lackey and a biggest fan with him at all times.

The Miz needs 1 clean win, but that is it in my opinion. It seems to me that he is being a champ like HHH was when he was WHC and was running Evolution. He was always cutting promos about how he's better than everyone and always had help winning his matches, and a bunch of people will agree that was some of the best work in HHH's career. The Miz will be fine, and personally i get glued everytime this guy is on tv! Him and Ziggler are 2 must see guys in the biz right now.

That's exactly what I think.

It seems like everybody who get's pushed get's bashed eventually.

Even Del Rio is currently getting the boot with the "he's to young, it's to early," remarks.

Really, it's becuase it's not what people want to happen. They've fantasy-booked "Christian will return and win the Royal Rumble, but that didn't happen, so WWE sucks and their wrong becuase what I wanted to happen did'nt happen." "I did'nt what Del Rio to win."

They just whine and complain to the point that they can't enjoy WWE anymore or anything they do. They sit there complaining, bitching, whining, yelling, and fantasy-booking through a whole show.

If Daniel Bryan won, he's to small. If Ziggler won, he's not ready.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. That's all some wrestling fan's do.

Elimination Chamber is a good chance for them to have Miz win clean (ish), much like the finish in his match with JoMo on Raw, they should have him capitalize on someone elses mistakes

Punk eliminates Orton
Cena eliminates Punk
Seamus eliminates JoMo
Seamus eliminates Cena and stands up straight into a SCF
Miz eliminates Seamus

means Miz gets to look strong by eliminating Seamus without Seamus losing anything for eliminating Cena and Miz eliminating Seamus makes him a credible threat to Cena all in one fell swoop. Throw some JoMo spots and Punk and Orton going at it like bears fishing for Salmon and you could have a really good match

Or as others have suggested make it a number one contenders match and make it part of the road to wrestlemania, I think it would work really well as a long-term part of the Road.

It seems as if there is not a lot of confidence in the Miz as champ. His wrestling skills are not that great, and his promos are repetitive. Luckily, he is a heel so he doesn't need to wrestle great to win because heels cheat. I do think they could have at-least let him cover Orton on his own instead of having CM Punk not only hit the GTS but drag over the Miz. He actually reminds me of Triple H's early title runs. By this I mean that Triple H always had a crew or special referee to help him out.

I am getting sick and tired of Mike "The Miz" Mizanin getting crapped on by everyone bout being a wrestler and all. He has "IT!". It is heart and soul. Every champ face or heel has cheated to win look at Hogan, John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio jr, Edge, Chris Jericho, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and the list go on and on. You do want you have to do to keep your title and your spot and he's proving that.

It seems like everybody who get's pushed get's bashed eventually.

That's true.

But those who are bashing the Miz, are they the same exact people who were bashing Orton as champ? Chances are that many of those bashing the Miz are not the same ones who were bashing Cena as champ. There's always going to be a group of WWE fans who hate whoever the WWE selects to hold the title, that's just how it'll always be.

However, I want to see Punk with the title because that would give his stable an edge, and then they could go the 4 Horsemen route in order to maintain Punks champ status, and in the process they could build up a face who despite the odds, manages to finally win the title.. kinda like Sting did when he finally got the title away from Flair.

Miz isn't really opening any doors to really wicked feuds. Having him go against Cena would be kind of dull, and I don't find his matches with Orton to be all that. In fact, the Miz is just boring in the ring and his mic skills? He comes off like the Situation on the mic. I mean I realize a lot of young fans may be into that reality tv nonsense, but there's no talent there.

Reality tv is the antichrist of talent.

heels dont beat the biggest faces cleanly, they only sometimes beat the somewhat big faces cleanly. it makes sense. miz is good but he is not able to beat a mega face like orton or cean yet, he's not that good yet. its better that way cause lets say he somehow wins vs cena, yuo're always gonna think cena will win throughout the match. so maybe its better that way.

Yeah, I don't like the change to the EC match. Looks like it will be a 1 on 1 for the WWE Championship while the chamber match will probably determine the number 1 contender for Wrestlemania against, hopefully, the Miz.

well we have the answer to the 'With the way he has been built as Champ how can Miz win in the chamber?' question...

a clean win over Jerry Lawler (although this is WWE so dont be too sure that Lawler wont walk out as WWE Champion ahaha)

I was pretty pissed the title wouldn't be defended in the Chamber. But, then again, it IS a pretty good way for someone to have to earn their shot at the title at Wrestlemania.

One of the guys has to win a 30 Man (40 This Year) Battle Royal to earn his spot at Wrestlemania, and then the other guy that goes after the company's other title will have to compete in some rinky dink match on RAW to earn his Main Event Mania Match.

So, it actually makes sense it would be to determine the number one contender.

Either way, title or not, it is for a trip to Wrestlemania. So, the only difference is the title is not involved. The winner still goes to Mania.

Also, it kind of gives us one more good match on the night. If the Chamber Match and Title Match were one in the same, that leaves an opening for an Elimination Chamber PPV rematch of a Henry/Khali Vs. The Usos Dance Off!!! LOL

This is EXACTLY what Miz needs. If he wins the chamber without any interference whatsoever, even if he puts his feet on the ropes, thumbs everyone in the eyes, whatever dirty move he has, he will instantly turn credible.
That makes him a heel, and winning would make him WrestleMania mainevent-status.

He deserves this.

I actually think this goes back to my point of Miz not being believable in this type of stipulation. He's too much of a pretty boy type to be mixing it up in a chamber made of steel chains. This is a great way to get out of putting Miz through that brutality.
