Does anyone on the forums like tennis? Nadal went out yesterday and Federer is in a tiebreak down 2 sets to 1. Switch over to ESPN for some good shit.

Federer is playing pretty terribly. Not making good decisions in terms of ball placement and his form and follow through is notably sloppy causing unforced errors.

I turned it on a little while ago, after the cable man brought me a new cable box. Why? Because I didn't have time to watch anything else.

The most underrated aspect of Roger Federer's greatness. His fitness. His ability to persevere and avoid injury (for the most part) and never show wear and tear or fatigue. He showed it at the French and he's showing it again today.

The remarkable thing is that, throughout this entire nerve-mangling epic, Federer has looked as perturbed and perspiring as a man walking his dog. Slowly. A very well trained dog that requires minimal control.

BBC are right.

Federer winning did surprise me and Djokovic losing his first set yesterday did too. Loved seeing Nadal lose, simply because it spices things up a bit. What happens to Rosol now though?

Roddick is just not that good anymore. Plus Ferrer is in good form.

Even with Nadal out, Murray still has a difficult run to get to the final. Having already dealt with Davydenko, Karlovic and Baghdatis, he still has Cilic, Ferrer/del Potro and Tsonga/Fish to navigate before he gets crushed by Djokovic/Federer

I'm fairly sure that one of the British girls will win a Slam before Murray. Take that how you will.

So now there is some level of interest in Tennis on this forum? Never thought i'd see the day.

Anyway, Rafa is my favorite player and i'm heartbroken over his loss. That doesn't bode well for the Olympics.

I absolutely hate Novak Djokovic. Quite possibly my least favorite athlete.

I'm putting all my marbles in Roger this year. If he wins, he will be world #1 again and break Pete Sampras's record of most weeks as world #1. It also helps that he will push Djokovic out of #1.

Murray doesn't stand a chance. He has the toughest draw out of the remaining top 4 players and it would take a miracle for him to win.

Brian Baker may have the most heart warming story i've ever heard Seriously, the guy had, what, 40+ surgeries including Tommy John Surgery and has cruised into the 4th round. Seriously, this story is so much bigger than Jeremy Lin's, but because Baker plays Tennis, nothing whatsoever will be made of his amazing story. Such bullshit.

Im upset Rafa is out too. Made Wimbledon so boring for me bc I really don't want Djokovic to win, but he's going to cakewalk his way to the title now.
