To get preliminary ratings they need to get a wider fanbase, and it is easier to do that with established wwe talent, rather than have to expose old ecw talent to a new base of fans. Second, the ecdub vets are gettin a little older. the last 2-3 shows have been very entertaining, especially the main events.

I m not saying that this is the all time best that ecw ever did not, by any sense of the word. But you just dont get it, this is a business that vince is trying to run and the first step in running any business is to secure a place for said business, thats what he is doing. draw in good rating to secure a place for ecw in the future. Ecw is doing everything right right now to set itself up for the future, develope talent, reintroduce the old talent to a new audience, and groom a stable champ. Vince isnt a member of the forune 500 for being a fucking dumbass. i am extremely pleased with how the new ecw is developing, and i predict that it will be very close to the old ecw in 6 months. Give it time.

Ima state this one more time, Jeff Hardy would not be good for ECW, He has only ever done WWE hardcore which was never and will never be in the same league as ecw, He is a spot monkey with no real talent, All he has ever done is the whisper in the wind and the occasional spot in a Gimmick match, Name one non gimmick singles match where he has done anything good and prove me wrong I KNOW YOU CANT
