Who would you bring back?

Occasional Pre-Show
I will keep this short. if u could pick one former wwe star who has never held the WWE/WHC to return to the roster who who would it be? MVP? Chris Masters? Maby The Brain Kindrick? or anyone eles u chose? me personly id pick John Morsion. im not sure y he left and would love to c him back. He was good in ring ok on mic and pretty funny. so who do u miss and wanna c return? Lets hear it

Off the top of my head, I can't really think of anybody. There's plenty of young, strong, fresh talent on the WWE roster and down in NXT that's ready to be brought up soon, or really at anytime for some of them.

I would like to see David Hart Smith return and reform the Hart Dynasty with Tyson Kidd and Natalya. They could be a strong face tag team which is something the WWE is lacking right now. I can only think of two legit face teams the Usos and Tons of Funk all the other teams are Heels.

Shelton Benjamin. Quality matches and all-out performances are guaranteed when he is in the ring. Never seen the guy have a bad match.

The first name that came to mind immediately was John Morrison. It was such a shame that he never made it to the World Heavyweight Championship nor never defeating The Miz for the WWE Championship during their feud. Had it not been for Melina he likely would have finally made it to a world title by now. I'd bring him back to eventually win the World Heavyweight Championship then steal the show with retentions against Christian, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and more! It would be nothing short of amazing.

I like this idea. The Hart Dynasty were such a good team and they got split up WAY too soon. Seeing them feud with The Shield and later on The Wyatt Family would be awesome. They would have a much better shot at winning the giant pennies from Rollins & Reigns than any of the current face teams. Tons of Funk are too silly and The Usos are fucking awful. With Air Bourne also no longer being in the division, The Hart Dynasty could be the focal point of the tag team disivision if brought back. Smith and Tyson could then also accompany Natalya to her matches during a push of her own. Tyson and Smith with the giant pennies while Natalya has the Divas Championship all holding up their belts together would be a very cool moment to see.

No one. There is a reason they were never WWE or World Heavyweight Champions. I would just keep doing what WWE is doing. Bring back names like Jericho and RVD to add value to your show.

This. The main roster is already filled with great young superstars and NXT has even more on the way. Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns, Wyatt, Cesaro, Zayn, Kruger, and Neville. Plus, the new guys they signed in Samuray Del Sol and Sami Callihan. I would not sacrifice any of these guys for another run with John Morrison or Shelton Benjamin.

Hmmmm...If I really had to choose someone, I'd say I would love to see Hardcore Holly back. I know he is old and such, but he was always one of my favorites. I'd like to see him come in and work with some of the newer guys, maybe people coming up from NXT. I loved his program with Cody Rhodes years ago, and their tag team run. I would like to watch Hardcore Holly do that all over again, but I feel if he did come back, he'd settle into a role similar to William Regal's, which is not all that bad.

I wouldn't mind seeing Chris Masters again, not as he first started in WWE (The Steroid Statue) and not as a total jobber, but as someone who functions on the mid-card, occasionally contending for one of the minor titles.

He looked great, even after (allegedly) abandoning the juice and he moved around the ring much more effectively when he wasn't totally musclebound. Honestly, I thought he deserved better than being fed to the wolves in the last months of his WWE tenure, although who really knows what was going on behind the scenes that relegated him there?

Give him one more chance. I'd really like to see what he looks like today.

Why did you respond?? I swear...

The OP came up with a perfectly good topic and you piss on it with a non-response that no one cares about. If you don't have an answer, don't click reply. "Off the top of my head" How about this? Either put more thought into it OR shut the hell up and move on. One of these daily contributors who think everyone wants their opinion...get a life.

Personally, one superstar who never won the gold I would like to see come back is Jake Roberts. I would love to see him in good health and good spirits. A Rumble entry for the sake of nostalgia that includes some sort of elimination or altercation that springboards him into an angle as the (non-active) leader of a Wyatt Family-type of stable. Dark and mysterious with a true legend and genius at the helm.

I'd go with Shelton Benjamin, wasn't the most charismatic but was a fantastic worker. Matches against Punk and Bryan would be pretty sweet. Hell bring back Haas as well, could reform the WGTT and help the tag division out.

umm Brian Kendrick...I thought this guy was awesome in TNA. Very good in the ring and not bad on the mic. John Morrison would be a close second as well

Like Jackhammer I think WWE has a lot of exciting young talent already on the roster without digging into the past. If I had to pick one though it would be John Morrison as I'd put him and The Miz back together and liven up the tag team division.

Finley minus hornswaggle. I liked his brawling style but the little bastard ruined his career.

Goldberg should return full time to WWE as well. Heard he wanted to return for his kid. I would be happy to see him feud Ryback.

I also would like WWE to make Angle an offer better than his TNA gig. Don't like MEM or A&8's.

Rock full time would be cool but not happening.

I am not sure what happened to Lashley but he was spectacular. Nice in ring ability.

Get some tag teams back as well like Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

Trish and Lita would spice up the divas division

Man I think I would really like to see a Heidenreich return. Its been a while and im not so sure of the circumstances around his departure but whatever it was or may be, having him return as a monster heel would absolutely be believable in my opinion and there would be an option to use him at the main event level pretty much right away, or have him climb thru the ranks running thru the competition a la Ryback but obviously book it a lot better! The guy had the look and the size to go along with it. He could easily come in and obliterate Cena or someone like that since he already had a somewhat memorable run and it could work. Or even have him become a new Heyman guy that could also work tremendously. A mouthpiece like Heyman and a force like Heidenreich. So I guess in short what I have dragged out in trying to say is that his options would b plentiful and believeable if played out right

Scotty Goldman, he is a heck of a talent who was never really given a chance. As Colt Cabana he has mic skills, matt skills, and golden comedic timing. The best match I ever seen was him versus Davey Richards, it was a classic at an ROH show I've seen. Plus the timing would be great, Heyman can have him screw over his best friend CM Punk.

The Lethal Weapon Steve Blackman, seriously I look back and say to myself if Steve Blackman was around wwe now, he would at least won a World Heavyweight Championship, he had the look and attributes to be a big star he was born in a wrong era when they was stars like Stone Cold, Rock, Undertaker and many more big names during the attitude era. Love to see him back in the wwe ring.

I would bring back John Morrison as a heel the guy was awesome with his heel promos his in ring performance was almost as good as HBK. I am not going to say he should be WWE champion but maybe WHC The Miz and his dirt sheet was as miz would say Awesome!. As a face his promos were not as good but people need to realize being a heel is easy being a face is alot harder to keep fans interested and have good promos

For all thoe who say no one wwe has plenty of young stars i say im glad wwe didnt say that about the likes of stone cold and mick foly. Hidenright is a good one ive compleatly forgot about him but always enjoyed him back in the day. im surprised no one said matt hardy thought he was more over than that guess not

This was a little harsh, but made me laugh hard! You can't talk to a hall of famer that way! LOL I find it surprising that any wrestling historian wouldn't want a single performer to return, even if for a short stint or a surprise entrant in the Rumble. A return of Jake Roberts, may end up embarrassing to watch, but a return of Kurt Angle in a WWE ring or Stone Cold could be awesome. I much rather see Stone Cold in one more program, rather than any of the NXT guys move on. If built right, a Stone Cold vs (whoever) headlining Mania would probably leave a far greater legacy in wrestling than all of the NXT rookies will in any of their careers. I personally would love for Stone Cold to return to WWE t.v for one last chapter. His run on top should have at least lasted a few more years.

The main man I'd bring back is shelton Benjamin. Not only do I think he was a very talented wrestler, some of his extreme high flying moves got him very over. I remember in a royal rumble, I can't remember which off the top of my head but I remember there were two people on the top rope, Shelton leapt up onto the top rope and in one fluid motion, grabbed them and brought them crashing down. It added a lot of excitement and I'd say he's one of if not the best all rounder, he's a great wrestler and a superb high flyer.

Secondly I'd bring mark jindrak and maven back on a purely selfish note, just two of my favourites :)

Sheldon is a performer who I think deserves another run. The ones I'd bring back are primarily the divas: Kharma, Beth, Lita, Trish, Maryse, and yes, Melina.
