Who will be the fifth "player"?

RVD lives in LA the last time I checked. Yes, he was born in, grew up in, and was billed as being from Battle Creek. But to the best of my knowledge, he doesn't live there. In fact, when he went back a few years ago for an autograph signing or something, I remember reading he said it was the first time he'd been there in quite a few years. So RVD living in LA could mean he shows up. Now him being the fifth player? I dunno about that. I just can't see him fitting in that main event. I wouldn't mind it though. I'm clueless as to who it is, to be frank.

I'm just gonna run over a few options that I would find acceptable.

The only way it would be acceptable for Flair to say he is the fifth player is if he gets injured the second after he says it. I wouldn't mind a punt or two to teach him not to cheapen his retirement, sorry but Jericho had a point.

Kennedy would be a plus and having him return at this show would show that the WWE is pushing him into more of a main event face role. But....it seems like they would wait for Green Bay, give him a homecoming return.

Morrison would be fucking great, a miz vs morrison match at extreme rules would make me pretty happy. Plus seeing Morrison in a 10 man tag match would be exciting. Plus having a bigger name as the fifth player would be playing up miz as someone important....he isn't. Why can't anyone see that Morrison is the future of this business?

HHH will probably not be an option yet, the main event picture is kinda cluttered. I think HHH's return might be a heel return anyways; blaming Batista for him losing his title.

HBK is still hurting and he had the best match at that aweful wrestlemania, so he deserves a rest.

Rock, Austin, Hogan, Jesus....will you guys shut up about that dumb shit.

Based on the set up, it sounds like flair. Based on what would make the most sense, it should be Morrison. Based on the Mcmahon ego, it's probably one of the Mcmahons (maybe shane with his little stick), based on a genuine return we might see Ken Kennedy Kennedy....who knows.

The only options that would not be sadly disappointing are Morisson, Kennedy.....Kobe?

I'm sorry, I'm a Detroit kid...I'll always be a Billups fan, tough break Kobe

:lmao:

I'm gonna go with Kennedy. I can't think of anyone it'd be besides him.

Edit

Sorry. It would also be really sweet to see HBK back, especially since it would make sense. Shawn and Randy are no strangers. If not him, then I'm pulling for it to be Kennedy. I know a lot of people have given up on him 'cause he's injury-prone, but I think if he can manage to stay healthy this time, he still have a chance to succeed in a big way. So, him coming back in such a star-studded match would be a good way to start him off.

I doubt it will be RVD. Apparently he has been talking shit on Triple H and some other wrestlers on his radio show. Surely Vince won't take to kindly to that.

As far as this match, I guess it will be either HBK or Kennedy. Probably HBK since he is the big name. Kennedy would be better suited with Brian Kendrick.

Of course, the WWE may actually surprise us with a truly shocking fifth man. I'm actually intrigued and will definetly be watching Raw Monday.

C'mon, people, make it Morrison. Or Kennedy. Or Hornswoggle. Or friggin Goldust. I really don't care. Just so long as it's not Flair. That, after all that happened at Mania 24, would be a revolting travesty.

Actually, I lie. I really would like for it to be Morrison, but he's getting pushed anyway, and this wouldn't do all that much more for him. Could be a nice way to bring Kennedy back. RVD would be a fun surprise, though. He did an awesome run-in at the Royal Rumble.

This is WWE. They do crap that doesnt make sense. Hence, my guess for the fifth player.......Sgt. Slaughter. Its memorial day, and Slaughter is the former soldier. Makes perfect sense!

It wont be Kennedy because he will be returning on Raw in Green Bay in like a month. I think it will either be Shane McMahon or MVP. I hope its MVP. Flair wont because he will get punted by Orton at the beginning of the show. Vince wont cuz he is wrestling "Stan Kroenke." They will have an impersonator for Stan so it will be a waste of time. That is just a way 2 stroke Vince's ego. Anyway I hope I get surprised about "the fifth player."
