Who The Hell Just Attacked Hogan/Sting? [All Aces and Eights Discussion]

i think a jerretts army would be a good idea tna could do with a stable just depends who else is in it. it would be good if the other 2 guys were chris masters and D.H smith

if it is double j (which it most probably is) then i hope the other 2 guys are chris masters and D H Smith i think that those 2 guys could offer a lot to tna

been reported that the three men where a reason to get sting of tv and done in a way so that people dont question why he not in the bfg series and has been storyline been put on hold it on wrestlezone so maybe the report true or maybe it a way for tna to throw people of the ball

I think Joey Ryan has hired some goons in all honesty. Would be a great first storyline, going head to head with 'The Icon'. Will be interesting to see where it goes next. :D

Im not sure TNA themselves know where this (potentially good) storyline is heading.

It could boil down to absolutely nothing (anyone remember when Joe was kindnapped and sending out cryptic videos?), or it could be Double-J, Joey Ryan or a returning Bischoff. Maybe creative is looking to internet forums for some ideas.

I don't know who these mask men are but I do like the fact that they made their initial impact and then were off camera for the past two weeks. I think it builds the drama for when they do indeed attack somebody else again. Just a guess here but I think we will see them next at Destination X.

if they do turn up a destination x i would like to see them get involved in some way with the world title match. maybe jump aries to stop him winning the title

I'm betting that guy who gave Hogan that letter is a messenger for these guys. BTW did anybody catch what cards were in there.

Aces and Eights (aka Deadman's hand). They may be trying to make us think the UT has something to do with this. It would be unheard of but really cool if TNA and WWE came to some type of agreement to share talent setting up UT-Sting at WM29.

Whether or not (most likely not) it is true, it is a creative move by TNA and makes me more interested in the mystery.

The cards in the letter were what's known as the "Dead Mans' Hand"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_man's_hand

The dead man's hand is a two-pair poker hand, namely "aces and eights". This card combination gets its name from a legend that it was the five-card-draw hand held by Wild Bill Hickok, when he was murdered on August 2, 1876, in Saloon No. 10 at Deadwood, South Dakota.

It's a common reference to death coming.

I have no idea if the guy who delivered it was one of the group or not, and didn't get a good enough look at his face to figure it out until he was on his way out, but either way the group is likely to return next week, as the note also noted "See you next week!"

Sadly I know exactly who that guy is. He used to be one of the fans that was always front and center on tv a coue years ago. Go back and watch the first joe-angle feud. He has been an extra backstage a couple times and I met him 2 years ago at BFG in Daytona. Loyal tna fan here but damn they should try harder, something so small like that.

Jarrett is my guess and based off of the letter Hogan got tonight, I could see him coming back trying to take TNA away from Dixie. not saying it is a great storyline(been done once or twice already) but i can see it.

see I thought there was a King in there but I must have been hallucinating and that would have been too obvious probably King = King Of The Mountain. seeing as everybody knows its Jarrett I'm still very interested in seeing who the other two or maybe even more guys are behind this.

I would like to see these guys wage a wave of terror in Impact Wrestling until Hogan has to make a deal with these guys. Like the US cannot defeat the Taliban so they start making deals with them. One of their guys say to Hogan "alright we'll leave you alone unless one of our guys gets to enter the BFG series". The deal is done and of course their guy would be masked too. The AcesAndEight guy make it to the finals and become the TNA champ and then unmask in front of everybody. And then you reveal someone shocking like Raven or Desmond Wolfe or Chris Harris or someone like this. I think AcesAndEights would be guys that want to make a name for themselves and want jobs in the industry but cannot get them. Sting was the biggest fish in the pound so they made a statement. And they would keep being masked other than their chosen guy that won the tournament.

The good thing about this storyline so far is that TNA hasn't been too transparent with who it could be. They didn't do anything obvious like having a King card on there for Jeff Jarrett. I would like to see Double J return at some point, being revealed as the mastermind behind it all. He and Sting have had an on-again, off-again feud going and it would make sense because Jarrett could claim he should've been in the TNA HOF first. Of course, one of the main reasons I'd like to see Double J return is the interaction between he & Hogan. I wouldn't mind one of those six-strings upside Hogan's head again and have a storyline where Jarrett tries to reclaim his company. It'd make for a helleva storyline since it's live and no spoilers would be out in advance.

As with most pictures of the deadmans hand you have a pair of aces and a pair of eights with the last card turned down. That last card could be anything so I could see them keeping that card face down until time to reveal JJ as the leader. When he gets ready to come out and acknowledge he's behind it out they turn the card over to reveal a King.

As to the person wondering about the Undertaker and the dead man theme. I think it's more of Jarrett maybe going to show up as a cowboy because the Dead man's hand gets it's name from it being the hand Wild Bill Hickok was holding when he was shot in the back and killed. So I think they will be coming in as a cowboy like old west vigilante justice type group proclaiming to right the wrongs Dixie/Hogan have perpetrated on TNA. The first wrong being of course Sting being the first inductee into the HoF over Jarrett.

When Jarrett is there, people want him to go away and when he's not there, they want him to come back. What it says is that JJ is only good in small doses. If he reveals himself as the mastermind we're gonna have months and months of him rulling the pace. That's not the solution. We're gonna be sick of him fast.

I think this could be building up to be an interesting angle if they do it right. So far it looks as though there are six guys but its really hard to tell who they are. One of them deffinitly has long curly blonde hair but nobody comes to mind from my knowledge who is a free agent that would fit. I think its going to be a gang led by Jeff Jarrett who is pissed that he wasnt the 1st inductee into the TNA HOF. It will probably be made up of him along with a guy or two from AAA, a couple guys from TNA already, and hopefully a couple former WWE guys....Morrison and Batista? What are all of you thinking and hoping for? And has anyone been able to recognize anyone from the footage from this weeks show? Camera men did a great job minimalizing how much they shot of the upper half of the attackers bodys. They probably dont even know for sure who they are going to use in this gang and are just having anyone behind the mask until they figure it out or sign some new talent that they may be working on (Morrison,MVP.Batista.....ect)

Batista is too big of a name to debut like that and with 7 other men.

I think they would be guys from ROH, Ring Ka King and other indies. A Ring Ka King stable here looks the most likely.

I hope they are Jeff Jarrett, Raven, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, John Morrison, MVP, Chavo Guerrero and Chris Masters.

Big time list, but few guys from that list are possibilities at the moment and can totally change the TNA if that happens, maybe even allow TNA to do another weekly show on television.

if this is going to be a stable i hope its not that big stable like "immortals" i hope its 3-5 guys and thats it, but also i hope its not a stable its too early to have one after the immortal, impacts is interesting without one at the time the only stable i would like to see is if its run by bobby roode that would be awesome

If this is not Jarrett wanting revenge and wanting his company back, then it is a bunch of unemployed wrestlers who wants to make a name for themselves. Guys like Masters, Mike Knox, etc...I think I saw Johnny Devine. I think TNA should use this opportunity to reintroduce some wrestlers where they would reinvent themselves because of the gimmick.

Im thinking its Sonni Siaki,WWE's Test(long blonde hair),maybe some colored guy like Elix Skipper,Zac Gowen,Scott Steiner, and maybe Don West...their all pissed off at TNA for firing them and making their lives all sucky,so now their all working with the boss of Direct TV(im pretty sure Sonni Siaki installed my cousins house like two months ago), and their gonna terroize The Impact Dome every week until Viacom meets their demands!...Betcha they kidnap Brooke next week and use her as a sex toy, tape it,and send it to Hogan to aggonize over

BTW quick question to anyone that can help...Im getting a head start on my taxes for next year and im wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between a Warlock and a Morlock

Test death was ruled an accidental overdose of oxycodone and Sonny Siaki ir retired, so they are not in Eights&Aces.
I am saying they are: Gunner, Trevor Murdoch, Chris Masters (He is working dark matches), Mike Knox (He already debuted in TNA Xplosion in match against Devon), Maybe Savio Vega, Joey Ryan.

I think the long haired guy is Cliff Compton/Domino. I think Jeff Jerrett is the leader. I think it's Ring Ka King guys. Jerrett, Domino, Mike Knox, Luke Gallows, Chris Masters, Chavo, Divari and Harry Smith are my guesses.

One of the attackers is Brian Kendrick. I believe he was the last one to walk out of the office after Hogan was attacked last night on Impact. He was the one wearing the half mask / bandana across his face. You can tell it was him from the hair and the eyes.

Also I believe another of the attackers is Gunner. He has been missing of television for a while and he was the one who somebody earlier described as being "Test".

I suggest you watch it again, because there's no way on earth that the guy with the long hair being shoved out was Kendrick. The guy was jacked. Kendrick is a scrawny, twig of a thing. If anyone, the only got that could have been would have been Gunner, but he also didn't have full sleeves, so I highly doubt that as well.

Fact is, I don't think anyone can truly predict who this group is going to be composed of. The masks and vests are doing a fantastic job of blurring whatever recognizable traits we might have been able to find.
