Who is the Smartest WZ Member?

I said who wants to be a millionaire right?? that means everything.

Both Ech and Sly seem to know at LEAST a moderate amount about EVERYTHING.

In that case I might be a candidate for it. I'm pretty good with book smarts. Nowhere near the top on wrestling though.

I'm just educated in little areas that most people don't seem to be as much. I do alot of reading on world history (especially events surrounding war), railroads and automobiles, space and space exploration, and I'm big on science (especially chemistry)

I think im underrated in the intelligence feild. I know something about just about every obscure thing we talk about. Im not kidding, go looking through threads, and see for yourself.

Damn you CM *red reps CM*

I was trying to flex my Ech muscles (by having Ech answer that question with extreme superiority)

and that is correct. And what does it measure??

its not just heat. its an indication used by sceintists used to determine how fast something will burn up. Thats what I was lookin for.

Truth be told he really doesn't know jack about womens wrestling, but in his defense, who else on this forum besides me really does?
Not true.

I just don't know much about indy wrestling, which is about the only place you'll find the majority of your women's wrestling.

And I just choose not to waste my time with garbage, which is why I don't pay much attention to indy wrestling.

I wouldn't pick Sly for that. He'd give me the wrong answer on purpose.
"Who was the first man to set foot on the moon...ten seconds"

"John Cena, bitch!"

That is low. Steve Corino is a better Stick Worker, and a better Wrestler than the majority of the Wrestlers on the WWE and TNA rosters that it is a joke to say that when you have Corino there training some of the good new guys coming through. Like "The New Generation Ace" Ricky Landell. CW Anderson was on the indies. I have yet to see why indy Wrestling is garbage. just looking at three members of the Extreme Horsemen.

It's garbage because the only people that care about it are people who try to make others believe how "smart" they are. I mean, that's not necessarily the case for all, but the good majority of people who watch indy wrestling, and try to claim that indy workers are great, are people who want to prove to the world how "smart" they are to the business. As if liking some low-budget obscure wrestling promotion and it's workers makes them a great fan.

I hear all the time about what a great wrestler *insert name here* is, and how *insert match here* was a 5 star classic, and everyone should watch *insert promo here* to see how great he is on the stick. And everytime I do this, I laugh at how piss bucket *insert name here* is, and how terrible *insert match here* is. Then I watch the promo and I think how if the same promo was done by someone in the major league promotions, people would ridicule him for a poor promo.

It's like people have different standards for quality. The lower budget the promotion and it's wrestlers are, the more its fans are willing to forgive faults. ROH fans will watch a Nigel McGuinness match and talk about how great he is, and then the same fans will watch a John Cena match and talk about how he sucks because he doesn't "wrestle". They'll shout for 5 stars for a Joe vs. Kobashi girly slapfest, and then display disdain for a Batista match.

Indy wrestling is generally garbage. That's not to say that it can't be entertaining sometimes, but it's still garbage. Indy wrestling is like minor leagues in baseball. Sure, there are some talented prospects down there, but just because they have potential doesn't mean they can hang on a major league level.

WZ who wants to be a millionaire tourney sounds like the best way to say. the weakest link wouldnt work cos people would eliminate who they fear!

Most women's matches on the indy circuit are superior to the stuff that WWE amd at times TNA produces. Unless you want to tell me how Sara Del Rey vs Mercedes Martinez pales in comparison to Layla vs Kelly Kelly

It's still not good wrestling.

I'm not here saying that the half-******ed women that the WWE brings in put on good matches. I'm just saying that the other wrestling sucks too, and since there is nothing good about it, I don't watch it.

At least with the WWE, there is still good wrestling around the atrocious women's division.

You define good wrestling as having a healthy balance between the entertainment side of wrestling and actual wrestling skill. You seem to look at wrestling matches like your reading a good book, not as some sort of sport as some other people do. Just because the women on the indy circuit and Japan (yes I define Japan as the indy circuit) don't put on matches that are designed to entertain a crowd of thousands doesn't mean that their matches are pure garbage.

What I can't believe is that there is virtually no discussions on automotives, automotive care, railroading, ships, or flying. It would seems that no one on this forum cares for these machines

I am legitimately shocked that I got NO LOVE in this thread. Oh well, I figure it is due to the fact that I use words many of you may not understand. :)

Xfear is extremely bright, but he swears so much I think his intelligence gets lost in his anger. That's my personal opinion, as I rarely swear.

Shockey is very intelligent, and he doesn't flaunt it or brag about it, nor does he intentionally try to draw attention to it the way Sly and I do.

Jake's intelligence is a bi-product of his calm demeanor. He doesn't let anything or anybody appear to get the best of him, and often times it's the person who remains calmest in a debate who ends up winning it, because they maintain all of the faculties.

Echelon is a bright one as well, and he's my kind of bright, because he's not afraid to do research. He doesn't claim to the the end-all of human existance in terms of knowledge - but he knows where to go for an answer.

Shadowmancer is another one I have a deep respect for in terms of intelligence. Like many smart people on the boards (myself included) he isn't void of arrogance, and as a result he comes off very confident.

SlyFox is the rear view mirror of intelligence - objects may appear smarter than they are. That's not a knock on Sly - the man is damn smart, but his debate skills are so polished I don't know how much of what he says is intelligence and how much is pure communication skills. He is able to totally dissect somebody's arguement, even if it takes the points out of context, and obliterate each point calmly. Plus, unlike some less-successful debators, he doesn't blow his load on the first arguement - he asks you questions about your point in an attempt to get you to say something that you'll end up paying for. The result is the inevitable surrender of "well, that's just your opinion, Sly."

I also want to offer the "underrated" intelligence award to Polley. I had the pleasure of debuting the Master Debator thread with Polley, and despite winning it, I had a VERY hard time because Polley brought up and researched some excellent points. I have also enjoyed seeing him involved in the music and film threads.

We also need to show love to RVDGurl, Kasey, and Eternal Dragon. Seriously, if some of the assholes of the world who had stereotypes of wrestling fans being stupid or one-dimensional came to these boards to read some of our debates, I think they'd be impressed by the group of us.
