Edge's R Rated Superstar gimmick is the best heel gimmick in the past couple of years.

I agree Christain and Edge match on skills. Edge better in Ring slightly and Christian better on mike slightly...but Christian is starting to wear thin in TNA. He needs to either go heel or change it up a little.

Here's my thing. Edge, well, he's a heel. and he can play a heel really well, but a lot of his heat was garnered by a non-wrestling event. Can he garner his own heat? Yeah, probbably, He's done it before, and as soon as Lita gets away from him he'll probbably lose some heat because of the lack of a physical reminder of why we should hate him. Christian however, has played the ultimate tweener. Face, heel, no doubt you'd join the Christian Coalition or be one of his peeps when he's wrestling JJ or Mr. Kennedy. But he can face John Cena or Sting and generate his own heat as a heel. I really like it when the character is capable of doing that and when it makes sense to do. Edge's character was hard to believe as a Face back in 2003-4, but Christian? Heel or face he's an entertaining guy.

I like them both, but I’ll go with Edge. Christian Cage is holding his own at TNA, but Edge is on a roll right now in the WWE. He is arguably the best heel in the WWE today, and along with HHH and JBL, they are about the only heels that could generate their own heat. The “R-Rated Superstar” gimmick fits Edge like hand in glove.

as far as success goes, i'd say egde. he's a two time champ over christian's one but to say ones better than the other, their non comparable at this point. i think they're about even.
