Who Cried During Ric Flair's Fairwell Speech?

Title speaks for itself.

It was a really emotional moment for me personally, and I stayed up till 4am in the morning to celebrate. Any real wrestling fan who did not feel those final moments on RAW isn't a real wrestling fan.

Seeing the 4 Horsemen together again was AMAZING!!

Did anyone else shed a tear, cause I sure as hell did!

Oh my God- I cried like a baby. I thought the celebration was very well done. For all the shit I talk on Vince McMahon, I will say that he always puts together very tasteful tributes to those who retire or pass away. I loved the Horsemen reunion and the fact that his family was able to join him in the ring. Even though Flair's retirement was long past due, I will miss him in the ring- as I don't know wrestling without Ric Flair!!

I cried a bit myself. It was just such a perfect moment. Some people were saying that it would've been better if Taker, Vince and Sting had been there, but to me it was perfect just the way it was. It was the greatest moment i've ever seen in wrestling period, and even more proof that Flair is the greatest of all time.

Come on people, it's common knowledge that The Undertaker and Kurt Angle are the greatest of all time!

Well you can at least give Flair the credit of having the greatest career of all time, he definetely fits that bill.

I've never claimed that The Undertaker and Kurt Angle are the greatest of all-time. They're my two favourites though.

As a kid growing up and even today I have the utmost respect for what Flair has done for the business. He's is a very talented performer in and out of the ring. I do not think he is the best ever. I think the guy who beat him has way more an argument for that than Flair. I am not even a huge Shawn Michaels fan but I can say that. I think it's tough to say who's "best" because it isn't just about wrestling. In fact wrestling and move style is only about 60%. The mic work and persona portion is huge and a lot of guys have embodied that "total package" which Flair had the whole package but I still don't think he is the best ever.

Ok for everybody who keeps bringing up Taker and Vince, they were there and they did actuelly come out, but it was after RAW went off the air

Almost immediately after Raw went off the air, the familiar tolling of a bell sounded, the lights went dark, and the wrestlers parted the aisle to let the Undertaker through. He did his full entrance, stepped into the ring, took off his coat and hat, then shook Flair's hand and embraced him, while whispering in his ear. Undertaker then took his signature pose on one knee and saluted the Nature Boy.

Next out was Vince McMahon, who rushed to the ring with a gigantic smile on his face and then absorbed Flair in a big, enthusiastic hug. He held up Flair's hand in victory and posed for the arena.

Flair then brought his family back into the ring, and did his strut, took off his jacket, dropped and dropped an elbow and a knee on it, to the crowd's delight. He had the camera zoom in on a gold watch that he said McMahon had just given him.

After taking the microphone and giving the fans one last, emotional, "Thank you," Flair stepped out of the ring, and made his way down the ramp.

Then in absolutely awesome moment, the gathering of wrestlers and WWE officials parted, in unison with 16,000 fans, bowed to the greatest wrestler who ever lived.

Flair shook several hands, and hugged several tearful admirers - including Stephanie McMahon, before blowing a final kiss to the audience, and disappearing behind the curtain.

I for one hope they put the entire Flair Farewell Address on the DVD when they release WM24, and I mean both the stuff we saw on RAW and the stuff that happened after RAW went off the air

Taker and Vince couldn't have been out. Taker doesn't come out for people dying in real life, so he wouldn't come out on camera for Flair, no biggy. same With vince. "Hey, I was just joking about that whole if you lose you retire thing." Hopefully this doesn't turn into something really really stupid.

No I didn't cry, but it was a great moment and a great end to a great career. I am glad this Ric Flair stuff is over though. I've never really liked the guy. He is, without a doubt, ONE OF the greatest of all time. I don't believe there can be one single greatest professional wrestler because all of the greats brought something special to the profession and it is professional wrestling. If Flair had the impact and drawing power of Hogan to go along with his in ring ability and mic skills, then yes he would be the greatest ever, but he didn't transcend the sport.

I really have had a problem with Ric's bashing of other great wrestlers, i.e. Bret Hart, Hogan, Savage, Foley. His comment that Steve Austin was the greatest WWF superstar of all time and not Hogan is just flat out ridiculous.

Flair definitely gave his all for 36 years and left it all in the ring, no doubt about that. Nobody will have a career like his.

I'd cry if Kurt Angle retired. Maybe. Undertaker would never give a farewell speech. They'd bury him or something.

Kurt Angle will probably be dead before he gets a chance to retire, Taker won't do a formal retirement he'll just kinda disappear

i cried like a baby during his speech go flair please become a manager!

I did. It was as everyone else said a real emotional moment. Something i'll never forget. Thanks, Ric.

I cried, and damnit, it's still real to me! Now in all seriousness, yes I shed some tears and I'm not afraid to admit that. Actually the only guys I'd ever shed tears for is Flair and Hogan, as they are the best of all time. It's too bad they couldn't have gotten Sting for a one time appearance so he and Flair could stand in the same ring together one last time, but in any event, I thought it was perfect.

I don't expect this to be the last time we'll see Flair on tv though. He'll be back in a few months and I really wouldn't rule out him wrestling every once in a while either.

i cried during his hall of fame/wrestlemania match & goodbye speech.
it was reallly sad =(
