I say Danny Bryan......and how nice it is to be able to say it.:)

It would also be nice to say it's because of his technical wrestling ability, but while many fans appreciate that, the factor that's gained him the terrific momentum he enjoys today is the program that's been written for him. It has taken a man with a bland personality (at least as far as his WWE persona has shown) and made him into a performer that's talked about and appreciated. They gave him a pretty girl and a simple catch-line.....and he's run with it. He uses that superb in-ring ability to augment the "sneaky" moves needed to win and hold on to a world championship.

Obviously, the true test of Danny and his program will come now that he's lost the title. Will it still play as effectively when he can't be chanting "World Heavyweight Champion" every 5 seconds?

We don't yet know, but there's no denying how hot he's been and how far he's come in his WWE tenure since losing regularly to people like Sin Cara.

Stay tuned.

Right now, suprisingly, I had to go with Daniel Bryan. While it's true that he's no longer World Heavyweight Champion, he lost the title in such a way that it got people talking and, thus far, he's getting an even bigger reaction than he's been getting. The "Yes!" chants have gotten to such a level that WWE is soon putting out a "Yes!" t-shirt, which I'm betting will be a big seller.

Depending upon what happens on SmackDown! tonight, Bryan could wind up becoming a bigger star post WHC run and I still don't look for him to just be taken totally out of the title picture.

Eh, momentum comes and goes like the wind. One day Miz can be main eventing WrestleMania alongside John Cena, with the Rock also on the table, and the next he can barely make the card. It changes on a weekly basis, so when I answer the question I do so with the attitude of - who has the most momentum, right now, at this very moment.

I can understand why Daniel Bryan is winning in the polls thus far - the "Yes" chant is like an infectious disease spreading through the industry. Do I think it'll last? Do I think it will mean a huge push for Daniel Bryan? Will it put him up there with CM Punk? Eh...I doubt it. Wrestling fans are too fickle these days for anything to stick for longer than a few months. The "What!?" chant is a symbol from the past - something fans recognize from the Attitude Era and feel cool chanting. "Wooo" is iconic, "Yes" is just something Daniel Bryan does. He's no Ric Flair, that's for sure.... It's just my opinion, but Daniel Bryan's "momentum" will be incredibly short lived. ESPECIALLY if the WWE gets on-board with the chant. Look how quickly people stopped caring about Zack Ryder...

Sheamus is an obvious choice - he just won the World title. He's incredibly over (or at least he WAS before beating Daniel Bryan...) and one of the two top faces on Smackdown with Randy Orton. But that's just it... He JUST won the World Title. And he's a face. That likely means the focus will be on the chaser, not on the title holder, putting Sheamus' momentum to work getting another guy over. It's just kinda how WWE books these days. To them, he's got the title! He's done all he needs to, he's as over as he's gonna get, and now he just holds the belt and they can build up the next challenger. Heels are honestly the only people who get character development AS the champion (ex. Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan, etc.).

Weird choice aside, I have to go with the Miz. He's coming off a long (intentional) losing streak with a big win for Team Laurinaitis. He's the new GM of Raw and Smackdown's go-to-guy now, and that could yield big things for him. Maybe it's not momentum as much as it is the verge of momentum, but I see great things happening for him real soon. The issue is, I don't think they're ready to take the title focus away from CM Punk right now, and with Lesnar or the Rock taking it going into next year's WrestleMania, there just may not be any room at the inn for a Miz title reign...

It was either between Daniel Bryan or Sheamus. I picked Sheamus because well he's the current WHC and never seems to lose a match. Acorrding to what I've read on numerous wrestling sites HHH and other poeple backstage seem to be really like Sheamus so that'll work to his advantage.

Daniel Bryan for sure. Dolph could do so much more, but needs the chance. I'd turn him face and then give him a massive opportunity against a monster heel in a cage match. I think Ziggler would shine. Face Ziggler vs Heel Lesnar in a Cage match. It could be the type of thing that would 'make' Ziggler into a top player.

Personally, I just can't get into Barrett at all. I'm English so would normally prefer him for that, but i just don't get the point of him. I think he's really boring in the ring, a bit of a prick outside of it. He doesn't really care about his fans. He's not for me.

Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio are so fucking boring. I normally fast forward them. Sheamus is okay, but 10x better as a heel. Despite his big push, he hasn't grabbed my attention like a top babyface should. He has a fantastic finisher though.

The simple answer is Daniel Bryan although he was already known to have what it takes to get the WWE behind him based on his past. I would say that Ziggler or Cody Rhodes have quite the momentum based on how they started in WWE. Both had very little experience outside WWE before making their way up to the main roster at a very young age. Since their starts and where they are at today these two stars have had a lot of faith put in them by WWE and have not imo dropped the ball. Also looking at them i can only see them moving to higher places in the company where as Daniel Bryan is pretty much at the top.

Easily Daniel Bryan. I've never heard a louder pop for someone who got murdered at Wrestlemania in 18 seconds. The dude is getting chants when he's not even in the ring. The dude is getting chants at non-wrestling events. It's incredible. Nobody will have the momentum he has at that point in their career.

Out of this list, I don't think there's too much of a fair comparison. If we're counting current or former world champions, then Daniel Bryan, easily. He's managed to get the crowds solidly behind him with the "YES!" chants and he's already gotten a taste of main event, but if this all keeps up, he's going to have a very solid future in WWE. He'd at least be comparative to say, Chris Jericho.

Out of guys who haven't won World Titles yet, it's a bit tough to call, but Wade Barrett is closer than I think Cody or Dolph are, despite the fact I'd say they are very close, too. Wade has everything needed to be a top WWE star, and he's riding a huge wave of momentum. All he needs is about one more push to reach the top and grab the World or WWE Title.

It was a toss up between Sheamus and Bryan, but I went with Sheamus. The guy's been on a monster role and I don't see him slowing down now that he's World Heavyweight Champion.

I voted for Daniel Bryan. Ever since his debut with the Nexus, he has been the vocal point of a lot of WWE storylines. He's obviously doing something right in the WWE too. Hell, they fired him and then RE-HIRED him.

Second place would probably have to go with Alberto Del Rio. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I believe if they actually tried to make him the next JBL, instead of this stupid "Destiny" crap, then he would gain a lot of fans(on the IWC at least).

Third place WOULD go to Zack Ryder if they would have kept him in the main event or at least the upper-midcard, but after he was given that awfully useless US Title reign, they pushed him back down to being nothing but a glorified jobber. It's a real shame too because he has the talent, he has the charisma, and the fanbase is definitely there. Now though, I'd have to say 3rd place would go to Sheamus. He's right now in "one of the most controversial storylines of late"(Cole's words, not mine) with him Brogue Kicking the ref at whatnot.

Daniel Bryan by a landslide, and to tell you the truth I think he will become World Heavyweight Champion again on Smackdown especially since Johnny is running things but if Daniel Bryan by chance were to get drafted over to RAW, then I think he would enter into a feud with CM Punk over the WWE Championship and could possibly be the one to end Punk's title reign
