Yesterday, Bryan Danielson updated his blog and commented really for the first time since his release from the WWE:

"WWE is very serious about adhering to their PG guidelines, and apparently my actions during the NXT attack on John Cena, namely choking announcer Justin Roberts with his tie and spitting in Cena's face, crossed the boundaries of what is considered "PG." Perhaps the choking was too violent or perhaps the spit was too demeaning. I apologized for both immediately following the incident; but I would be a hypocrite if I apologized for putting everything I have into the attack. I would much rather have gone too far than to come up too short.

As with anyone who gets fired from their job, especially when they feel its unjust, I am angry. Very angry. But I can't fault WWE for how they handled my release. My contract contained a 90 day no-compete clause in the event I was let go, yet the WWE has graciously allowed me start wrestling again on any show that's not taped for television or pay per view.

So with the negatives there also come positives. Before I got signed by WWE last October, I worked hard to bring new fans to independent wrestling. But with most of us having little national exposure the only thing we could do was wrestle our hearts out and hope for word of mouth. Now that I've appeared on WWE television in front of millions of new fans, things are different. My goal is to garner as much interest in independent wrestling over the next 90 days as I possibly can. I hope that some of the people who enjoyed watching me wrestle on TV will give independent companies such as Evolve, Dragon Gate USA and Ring of Honor a chance. I think most of you would enjoy the intimacy between the fans and the wrestlers and the intensity of the action; if you ask the fans who went to the Chikara or AIW shows I was on this weekend, I'm sure 99% of them had a great time. So if you've never been to an independent show, go ahead and dip your toes in... you might find that the water is pretty nice.

As far as what happens after 90 days, nobody knows. I've "heard" that TNA is interested. There are petitions going around to get me back into WWE and the last several weeks there have been fans chanting my names at their shows. People have even brought signs showing their support. And though most of the signs get taken away and though WWE may not be listening to your chants or petitions, I truly appreciate all the support over the last several weeks. It is both overwhelming and heartwarming. But regardless of what offers come in, I am in no rush to make any rash decisions. I enjoy my freedom as much as I enjoyed the benefits offered by being in WWE. My future, as usual, is uncertain. But I am enjoying my return to the independents. I'm hoping to see some of you there
."

I thought Danielson's comments were classy, easy to understand and very professional. I'm sure that many are probably surprised he didn't just rip into the WWE, which is all part of the professionalism I mentioned, but it's got me wondering about his future and what you think it holds. I've heard many that believe the WWE will want him back as this whole incident will have blown over. Some are no doubt clamoring for him to go to TNA or back to ROH.

When Bryan Danielson's 90 Day No Compete Clause is up, where do you think he should go to and why?

I would imagine he will end up back in WWE. When he left the indies it is likely he could have gone to TNA if he wanted. He obviously wanted (still wants?) to make it on the biggest stage so it would make the most sense that he would end up back with Vince and company. Also, there have been many rumors about how the WWE brass had their hand forced by outside entities (Linda's campaign, USA, toy company; take your pick) and it itsn't unrealistic to think they "fired" him to pay lipservice to what he did with the understanding all along that he would be back in a little bit. After all, Danielson goes out of his way in his blog post to point out his contract had a full non-compete clause that the WWE ammended to alow him to wrestle the non-TV indie scene. It doesn't make sense to do that for someone they have no interest in bringing back.

It is an interesting issue. If the wwe wants him back, which it appears they do (why else would they do him favors?), then I have a hard time believing he will not go there. I also will admit it is probably where he should go. He has a decent build going there and the paycheck is nothing to scoff at. The only reason I say probably is you have to wonder just how far they are going to push this PG thing and how it will effect danielson. I agree with comments he made about strong mat wrestling matches being quite PG, however, I have my doubts about how much the wwe is committed to such a thing as entertainment. Danielson with a watered down repertoire losses some of the luster. Maybe he is mad enough to try TNA in an attempt to get back at the PG bullshit but he is simply playing nice so he can work the indies for a while. I cannot blame him for either choice. There is almost no denying he is selling out a little bit, both professionally and his soul, if he goes back to the wwe yet it might be a necessary evil. Where would I like to see him work? Not in WWE for selfish reasons but begrudgingly I will admit he should go back to the wwe for the sheer scope of the audience.

even though im more a TNA fan than WWE i think he should go back to WWE and come back with somekind of storyline of him being pissed over his firing and is out for revenge and is going to take out all the top WWE guys especially Cena claiming it was his backstage influence and urging that got him fired.

IMO opinion, he should go to the WWE.

Danielson, going to TNA would be a death sentence, take Desmond wolfs TNA run, it has been neaerly none existant jobbing to everyone in the TNA lockerroom, he has no purpose only to fill PPV matches against a guy they are apparently pushing to the top.

WWE helped Danielson elevate to the top of his game as Jim ross stated Danielson became relevant within 13 weeks than most stars would have in their entire careers, if the WWE was smart, they would bring this young man back to hopefully elevate him to the top.

While I'd like to see him in TNA, he'll probably return to WWE. He is going to be so over with the fans, unintentionally but regardless, it's going to be ridiculous. I'd like to see them run with the "Daniel Bryan is a nobody, Bryan Danielson is known all over the world" storyline that Bryan mentioned after his elimination on NXT. Ala the current Kurt Angle storyline in TNA, have him come out and say he wants to prove himself to the WWE Universe that he's one of the best in the world. Put him on Raw every week challenging the top guys on the show, trying to prove his legitimacy.

I feel that would be the best way in trying to push him towards an eventual world title run.

As a huge TNA fan, I would love to see him go there for purely selfish reasoning. But they would not capitalise on hihm like they should. ANd I doubt he would go there.

The guy is a future WWE star waiting to break out. I think WWE could have handled this so much better, then didnt have to release him. (If Barrett & McIntyre can get written out at short notice, why not Danielson?)

But as I am sure WWE now how good he could be, I cannot believe that he won't end up back there as soon as he is allowed (ie after the 90th day).

I'm sure we all know he is going back to WWE when his 90 days pass..

I mean WWE don't really want to lose a brilliant technician like this one..this guy could be WWE top performer after Jericho retires..no doubt...

WWE just did what they had to do because of what they believe in and what happened was just unlucky, but he will be abck for sure!!

I firmly believe that he will immediately return to the WWE. Too many WWE wrestlers and employees have been talking about him post-firing to make me think otherwise. Generally, if you get fired from the WWE, you become persona non grata as far as employees go...but they have been constantly mentioning him still.

I personally would love to see him return to the WWE. He had a great run in the short time he was there, and proved he can do a fantastic job wrestling, performing, and entertaining as is the WWE style.

Fans chanting his name at all 3 of the shows this week proves he is already over from his short stay, and he left as a heel, think about that people. Hopefully, once this 90 days is up, he will return to the 'E, and finish what he started.

I expect , and hope that he will return to the WWE. It is the big dog in the business and talent like his deserves to be on the biggest stage. TNA wouldn't be a bad fit for him though as they tend to have a smaller but very talented roster that could complement his style very well. Where ever he lands I look forward to watching him in the future.

I really wouldn't know where Bryan Danielson should go, I mean he could make it anywhere and make it good, he's a great talent and wouldn't struggle to find a place to be booked.

But if I have to think of his own well being in terms of getting respected, being able to do what he loves doing to the degree of which he doesn't loose the love for wrestling, and as well with the paycheck being there, then I would obviously say WWE, especially considering the well being in terms of physical health with the no chair shot rules and no blood rules, which really does improve life for a wrestler.

So I would say let him go back to WWE if I could choose, not because I'm a pro WWE fan, but because it's where he'd thrive the best overall from my perspective.
