Seriously, I don't mean to be offensive to our resident Aussies, but just what in the fuck is wrong with your government? Mainly, why are they mentally ******ed? First they decide to start censoring the internet and ban anyone in Australia from visiting 4chan, now, and I am not making this up, they are OUTLAWING small breasts and female orgasms. Not literally, but their depiction in adult films. Yep, anyone with small breasts in an adult film is now banned in Australia because apparently unless you have Double D's it's seen as being similar to child pornography. I think my fellow Itty Bitty Titty Committee members will agree that is utter bullshit. But not only that, now females are NO LONGER allowed to have orgasms in adult films! I wish I were making that up! The act of "squirting" as it's known, is now banned. Oh men can still jizz away all day and night, just not women.

Along with thousands of other sites. Wikileaks had a list of the blacklisted sites, which were leaked a few months ago. PayPal froze their account, which is bullshit censorship, but I think you might be able to find a mirror of the list of sites.

What's really sad is that the list was drawn up by the Australian government and included hundreds of child porn sites. Well, guess what. Someone leaked it, and pedos had a new list of hundreds of sites to go and electronically violate children with. Isn't the Australian Government wonderful?

Apparently Australians don't understand when IP providers tell them that there is no way to ban every website you want banned. There is no way, and to try will just be a massive waste of money and time. You'll end up with a massive, oozing pile of slow connections with a lot of people getting independent, routed in access from abroad.

The same could be said to your government as to why the hell George Bush got a second term in office, but that's not what we are dealing with.

The Australian Government was much better with John Howard in office. Fuck, this man got our debts basically erased that we owed to different countries and started to get some surplus on-top of the surplus we were already getting to actually do something with the money. All the risks he took were efficient and precise in execution. One minuscule thing he proposed and he got kicked, all because most of the Australian working public are either lazy fucks or go about in bitching frenzies in the trades industry didn't like the proposition of "You don't work properly, you're fired."

And guess who they decided to vote in? Mr. Kevin 07, the "Rowdy" Ruddy Piper. This man is a complete wank. He reversed everything Howard who was going to do to help build a better country with more funds to work with and cater for important matters like rebuilding damaged hospitals (which one caused a nurse to be pretty badly injured, life-time injury) and investing into the educational system (because teenagers in schools are idiots and some schools, as well as their staff, are shit). But no, Rudd had to increase our debt to heights never seen in Howard's long reigning term.

Look, the point is, the reason why our government is screwed is because the public voted in the wrong man. There has not been many things that I have seen come good out of him for the country besides the "Stimulus Package" and giving money to First-home buyers or Impregnated women, which was only done as a goodwill gesture to keep him in office. Rudd wants Australia to be more civilised in how we act all because he is a civilised person, but still is your "down-to-earth Aussie battler like the rest of us." How he does this, is what you see here... censorship for these sorts of things. I can understand where the man is coming from because crimes of that region you are referencing have come up in the news and such quite a bit recently, but it just doesn't make sense. Why the fuck would you deal with the problem indirectly (banning porn that can influence people) when you can hit the nail straight with the hammer in the direct approach (target the problem and assign much higher penalties).

The current government don't know how to properly deal with what's going on because they are the voice of the people. Apparently, swinging the ban hammer around with censorship is what the people want, because the root of the evil lies here. If I had a voice back then, I would have kept the right man in power and risked my own self to back for a better country, rather than become a selfish prick that worries about their own problems and voting the man who will support what you want instead of the overall country's obligations.

After reading that, I was about to say that I was shocked and appalled that such a thing could happen. However, when I really think about it, I am not surprised. After learning that he was caught in a strip club and holds strong religious values, that seem to allow people of strong faith to have more time on the air in his country, I am really not surprised that he has done something as petty as this. Perhaps it was his time in the strip club that reminded him of the small boobies policy? We'll never know.

However, I honesty cannot see the point in this. It is not as if they can stop it. If people want to have sex and film it, then I would love to see you try and stop them from putting it up on the internet. Kevin Rudd is clearly a powerful man but he is not bigger than the internet. This policy is just fucking idiotic. I have never heard anything like it and all I keep thinking is that he is trying to pander to an older population by trying to ban some porn. You know what people are like when it comes to porn and perhaps that is what is going on. Honestly though, it is ridiculous. You are taking away some of the freedoms that the country has been built upon and now the freedom of media is taking a beating too. The man is clearly a fool and I wouldn't be surprised if he drew up his plans on a fucking etch-a-sketch.

I tend to ignore stories of censorship like this, because they are generally total arsefest, but I think this may be a genuine attempt. The problem with this, and the absolute pointless nature of it is that I imagine DVDs legally imported, classified and sold must make up about 0.01% of the pornography market in Australia. It seems like a completely pointless exercise to be honest with you and petty. All it will acheive is drive people to the internet, which is infinitely more deviant. Pointless and unecessary.

It is a genuine attempt - as an Auzzie I am absolutely FUCKED OFF about this, somehow the government can tell me what type of usage I am allowed on the net connection that I pay for... - lol! - It wont last long, there are always and will always be ways around this shit and I will make sure I find them.
