What move are you tired of seeing?

The other thread about what moves you'd like to see used more often got me thinking, what move(s), finisher or not, are you sick of seeing?

For me, it probably the chokeslam. Nearly every big man uses one variation or another, Kane, Undertaker, Khali, and the list goes on and on. Its getting really old.

The superkick. I'm sorry but a kick is just a kick. The only person who can get away with using it as a finisher is HBK because of course he's HBK; but that isn't even really a good reason for having a kick as a finisher.

I absolutely hate the 619. Its ******ed. The way the wrestlers magically end up in position on the ropes and then stay there waiting 2 be hit...

You know, I also hate the 619 as a move. I don't mind Mysterio, but his 619 is a tad boring and lame. It becomes predictable when it is going to happen, and it is predictable when it is going to be reversed. It was neat when he first started to do the move, but now it has become extremely predictable.

The 619, utterly and completely. I don't know if it's because the most recent wrestlers to wrestle Mysterio are horrendously bad about telegraphing what they are going to do next, or if it's just because the 619 is such an awkward move you have to be that obvious about getting out of the way. It's just so obvious of a move, it makes me lose all sense of suspended belief I managed to accomplish for the match.

The counters of doom.

Turnbuckle counter- You always know when it's coming. The man who was just Irish-whipped into the turnbuckle will lift his foot or his elbow into the coming bozo who runs wildly at him with no apparent motive.

Rope rebound counter- Wrestler A whips wrestler B into turnbuckle, A ducks his head, B kicks him. There are better ways of changing momentum than to make these guys look absolutely stupid.

I despise those moves.

In addition, the turnbuckle shoulder that Kozlov and Batista do. Line the guy up on the turnbuckle and hugging him 5x gets a little old to me.

The hurricanrana/headscissors when performed by people who can't do it properly, or when it's performed on someone unable to sell it. Seriously, when most of the divas do it, then make it look unrealistic as hell. I also hate when someone doesn't move as they should when they sell it. Instead of flipping over with the force, they fall another way. How in the hell does that make any sense?

The dropkick too. Majorly overused, and quite often poorly performed. A lot of the divas once again are a main sorce of the problem with this move.

wrestler A throws B on the ropes, bends down for a back drop and B kicks him in the shoulder.

clotheslines where A clotheslines B, B gets up and runs towards A to get another clothesline

when wrestlers trade punches in the middle of the ring and the crowd makes different sounds depending on who's punching

that thing where A whips B into the corner and follows him but B jumps up and A ends up hitting the corner chest first. kozlov does it the worst so far(worst as in the funniest)

the spear...tbh, edge's and batista's spear don't seem strong enough as a finisher.

hmm I'd the F-U Aditude Adjustment w/e!
its a simple firemans carry slam and every makes such a big deal out of this cluster fucking failure of a finisher!

I'm sorry but a kick is just a kick. The only person who can get away with using it as a finisher is HBK because of course he's HBK; but that isn't even really a good reason for having a kick as a finisher.

Hello, just coz its a kick does not mean its not an effective kick! Heh have u seen Tajiris Buzz Saw Kick!!??! IT LOOKS LIKE THE DUDES KICKING UR HEAD AND NECK RIGHT OUT OF UR SHOULDER! so just coz its a kick does not mean its a weak kick! Hell a superkick from Goldberg ended Bret "The Hitman" Hart's (THE BEST WRESTLER EVER!) career!

Superplex absolutely suck....there's 300 moves you can do off the top.....so why is the superplex done 95% of the time? Nobody is wowed by it or wins from it, just wastes time imo...

So because a move doesn't win you a match and is used by most wrestlers, it's bad? Fuck me, the scoop slam has to go.

If that's the case, they should just eliminate all transition maneuvers altogether then, shouldn't they? Anyhow, I'm gonna say the double-clothesline. It's very predictable, and serves no purpose but give JR, or Cole to go apeshit. Yeah, either that or the Rock N' Roll Express hot tag. Just because they can pull it off doesn't mean every babyface team needs to do it.

I'm gonna go with the Powerbomb.
It's been around for a while and has many variations.
Undertaker's Last Ride, where the victim is lifted up even higher by his tights before being slammed down...
The Jacknife which was basically the victim lifted up and randomly let go, made famous by Nash
The sitout powerbomb... used by many, including Liger and Batista.

Yeah, at one point it was the most devastating looking moves in wrestling. But I am totally sick of it now. It's just become a generic big man finisher. At this rate, it'll end up becoming a non-finishing move because it's used so much, and the move itself doesn't deserve that.

how about distracting the ref in a tag match?

the hurricanrana:as it was mentioned before, it's not nice when when the receiveing wrestler can't sell it specially with the divas...i only like it when cm punk does it off the top rope.

roll ups: i hate seeing matches end like that

i also hate it when one wrestler clotheslines the other on the ropes and both fall outside of the ring...fine, you want to clear the ring, then throw your opponent out and just leave the ring normally or do a suicide dive

I hate low blows that are used when the ref is distracted -.- they´re just plain boring.

Atomic Drop or Reverse Atomic Drop - both quite visibly never make contact (for obvious reasons) and they always result in the victim jumping around like a clown until they are inevitably knocked down (most likely by a clothesline)

Irish Whip followed by a crap clothesline is also pretty boring too, and just seems like filler to me. The punch is massively overused - if you can call it a move, and it's often resorted to by guys who have a small repetoire of moves and can only get the crowd going by raining punches on their opponent.

The clothesline has been made utterly crap by the fact people keep getting straight back up again only to get hit again and again. Used to death by faces when they enter a tag team match after an eternity behind the ropes. It's REALLY boring, and massively predictable!

There loads more, but these are the ones that spring to mind

Rest Holds.

WWE is using them WAY too much nowadays and most of them look ridiculous. It's embarrassing to watch WWE with non-wrestling fans when Cena puts on his STF and his oppenent sells it like he's about to die. Same with The Walls of Jericho (the way he currently does it anyway). I'm holding your legs up! You better tap! Submission holds should be used sporadically and only the ones that actually look painfull.
