Whilst this has been done to death I don't see any recent threads like this.

For me I would say Randy Orton's RKO, it's like the stunner, not looks, but in the fact he can hit it anytime and it looks like it does hurt (unlike the Attitude Adjustment)

Feel free to post your replies if they aren't above

In terms of the finisher coming out of no where and the people marking out for it then it has to be the RKO, the crowd literally explodes every time that move hits.

In terms of exciting to watch then it is either the Shootiing Star Press or The 450 Splash both of those moves are things of beauty.

I'd have to say the Canadian-Destroyer.
Such a realistically devastating move that I love seeing.. unlike the Attitude-Adjustment or a 619..

The Rko as it is one of few moves that can be hit out of absolutely nowhere. That unpredictability adds a certain 'excitement' to a match. That fact that Randy wrestle's with a slow and methodical style, the unpredictable Rko makes for quite a spectacle.

I would have to say the Chokeslam, especially when 'Taker does it, you can literally just feel the crowd going wild as soon as he grip's his victim's throat, and it's not a bad Impact-Move either.

I myself think the Canadian Destroyer is the most dazzling finisher out there today, the first time I ever saw it on youtube, i had to rewind like 12 times to figure out just what the hell was going on....totally blew me away.

as for the RKO, great finisher, but to me, i dont compare it to the stunner, I always compared it to DDP's Diamond cutter. the diamond cutter, as DDP put it, could be hit from almost any angle, and boy did he!

I'm going to go with a move that is not used very often and is one of my favorite moves ever. That is a full nelson slam. It reminds of a choke slam but a full nelson slam has more power to it and it just looks painfull to me. I think the lost person I really remember using it was Kronik. When he had you up in the hold you knew it was over. That is a move the need to bring back and have used as a powerhouse move.

I chose other. I almost chose the RKO, but I feel that Evan Bourne's Shooting Star Press/Airbourne is the most exciting finisher.

The excitement starts right when the opponent is set for the move. Bourne kinda gives a look and the crowd starts popping. He climbs the turnbuckle and gains his balance. Finally, he takes flight with one of the most beautiful moves performed today. When he hits it, the excitement level is really high.

I dont think any other finisher builds that much excitement. The RKO is close, but I think its so sudden most of the time, there isnt enough time for the excitement to build. So therefore, my vote goes to Airbourne.

It would be a tie between the RKO and the SSP/Airbourne for me. The RKO is an awesome finisher, and Orton makes it fit perfectly. The SSP is just one of those moves where you wonder how they can do that. Evan Bourne does it perfectly, and it helps put him over as a face.

For me it's a simple answer to this question. Kofi Kingston's Trouble in Paradise is the most exciting finishing move in my mind. Just like everyone else who competes, his matches are based solely upon hitting his finisher. TiP can get hit from just about everywhere, you never know when he is going to hit his opponent from which ever angle he is at. It makes for an exciting match. The crowd just goes along with him and they know that when he starts yelling "BOOM" and clapping his hands, he is attempting to finish off his opponent. It may not always be hit successfully but the crowd pops for it at every attempt. The kick also look so flashy too and it's believably devastating. I decided to take another road for this thread, so there you have it.

The Canadian Destroyer is the most exciting because you rarely see it. We have seen constant choke slams, RKO's, and stunners over the years. The Canadian Destroyer takes a bit more effort to pull off since you can't perform it on anybody. Also, last time I checked Petey Williams was the only one that has performed the move to my knowledge. You know you are seeing something special when that finisher is set up.

Air Bourne is my choice here. Top rope finishers are normally very exciting, and Bourne executes the move about as perfectly as you can. It's the perfect finisher for him, and, imo, is what got him over to start off his career. But, I do have one question: how does the rKo look like it hurts at all? All Orton's doing is pulling someone's head across his shoulder. Honestly, the Attitude Adjustment would inflict more pain then the RKO, especially if Cena helps slam him to the ground after throwing him over his shoulders. Or if he does it from the top rope.

Second choice would be the Canadian Destroyer, simply because of how crisp Williams is able to execute it (most of the time).

Shooting star press is tied with the Canadian Destroyer for me. SSP just looks awesome altogether. the only problem as a finisher is that JoMo can do it standing so it somewhat lowers its athleticizim.

As for the Canadian Destroyer its just devastating, athlethic, and a rare move. makes it amazing

In terms of the ability to make me MTFO I'd have to say the RKO, whether he stalks his opponent, pulls it out of nowhere, or counters his opponents finisher with one (ie against Cena and I believe possibly in his matches with the Undertaker in '05) I always mark out and go crazy for it. It looks like it could do some serious damage to an opponent and when correctly done it looks flawless and just plain amazing. As others have said in the past it also reminds me somewhat of SCSA's stunner in that it looks devastating, can happen at any time without warning, and it can make an entire crowd jump to their feet.

Evan Bourne's shooting star press has to be the best high flying finishing move since Jeff Hardy's swanton bomb in Hardy's glory days. He gets excellent height, always hits his opponent unlike the horrible Starship Pain, and Bourne is singlehandedly responsible for getting it off of the WWE's banned moves list.

I really like the gutwrench powerbomb the most out of all of these but I have to say none of those are my true favorite finishers. My favorite finisher is probably Kaval/Low Ki's Warriors Way or Ghetto Stomp. Kaval is one of the best wrestlers I have seen in quite some time him and Bryan Danielson are definetly the future of wrestling, they have only started their wrestling career and can only get better. I hope to see Kaval vs. Bryan Danielson as a WWE main event in the future, though WWE isn't the best wrestling promotion out there you still have to give them credit, and I still can't wait for that match to happen.

The RKO will always be the Diamond Cutter to me. I also thought DDP was better at using it.. But that is another topic. lol

Call be old, but I still prefer a DDT or a powerbomb over a bazillion degree backflip. Well, only when the WWE has them. They have much meaning (i.e. Maryse's DDT means the match is over, thanks for watchin').

I am going to mention one that people will probably have to research on youtube because they will not have seen it very often.
My choice is Alex Rileys F5/RKO sort of move. Im not even sure what it is named. But it is a mixture of two of the best WWE finishers ever.

I chose other and my pick would be the F-5. The move itself takes athleticism and power to pull it off. Whenever Brock would do it, it just looks like it hurts a lot. Unlike the RKO or the other choices, it's one of those moves that you hardly see or another move similar to it.
