What if Jack Swagger had cashed in Mitb at WM 26?

Jack Swagger was Mr. Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania 26, thus being the final Money in the Bank ladder match at a Wrestlemania now that Mitb has it's own pay per view. But what it Jack Swagger would have cashed in his Mitb contract later on that night at WM 26 in Arizona on the then WWE world heavyweight champion Chris Jericho after his match with Edge? Would have it made more of an impact? Would have it gave Jack Swagger more exposer?? Would have that been more of a memory for us to remember Jack Swagger from then him cashing in his Mitb contract at the following Smackdown??? To answer all three questions, YES!

Months later at the very first Money in the Bank PPV. Kane won the Smackdown Mitb contract. And then cashed it in on the newly won WWE world heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio in the same night. So it was possible for Jack Swagger to do the same moths earlier at WM 26.

Jack Swagger had a didn't really have a decent run with the world title on Smackdown as a mid-carder. But Jack Swagger will go down in WWE history as a world champion if we like it or not. And sadly Jack Swagger will go down in WWE history as a wrestler with the less memorable WWE world title reign.

Sad but it's true, damn true!

Wins and losses don't mean as much as you think dude, a win at WM26 would have just meant you would have had a lot of disappointed and pissed off fans going home that night.

Swagger got a 3 month title reign where he didn't grow as a superstar at all, that's the biggest reason why most don't remember his title reign, not because he won it on a Smackdown. Name me 1 memorable thing Swagger did as champ?

Not only that, leading up to WM26 Swagger was so far down the ladder he could have went away and no one would have remembered 2 weeks later, Swagger did absolutely jack the 2-3 months before he won MITB and the title 2 days later. Everyone is quick to blame the WWE when it was Swagger who didn't do anything with his run as champ. He didn't grow as a wrestler or a personality, he stayed the same and has been the same since he lost the WWE title. Swagger is a carbon copy of Kurt Angle just not as good.

Until Swagger can break that perception and show the fans something (like Ziggler has done the last few RAWs) he will never be more than a mid carder in the fans eyes.

Swagger got the ball and dropped it, that's no ones fault but his and he got plenty of opportunity to run with it.

no, he beat Jericho 48 houirs later. It was rushed and totally wrecked his main event push. He should have been built up as a major heel with pinfall victories over upper mid carders before having the WHC thrust on him./ All that did was show how great Jericho is by putting him over

Easy answer... If Jack Thwwwwagger had cashed in MITB at WM 26 we would have heard the loudest groans in Wrestlemania history? Even louder ones than we heard when he won the MITB match. Do groans count as pops? Anyway, Swagger would have been a bust no matter what. I'm honestly not sure why they tried to push him in the first place.

Swagger got his Wrestlemania moment (well, so far anyway) when he won MITB at Wrestlemania 26. If he had cashed in on Jericho when Edge had speared him just after the match, it would have been a career making moment for Swagger, BUT this would not have changed the fact that his reign with the World Heavyweight Championship was plagued by bad booking. His exposure would have been exactly the same. Whether he cashed in the following Smackdown or that same night, we as fans would likely still look back on it the same way. It is actually better that he waited to cash it in because the focal point of Wrestlemania 26 was HBK's final match and that would have completely overshadowed Swagger cashing in. Swagger still has his whole career ahead of him to turn things around and get a better Wrestlemania moment than even cashing in at Wrestlemania 26 would have been.
