I couldn't care less what immature little insults you can throw at me. Did I once say that I was out to piss people off? Get it through your head that most people aren't on these boards to start fights or purposely piss people off. It's a matter of opinion and I stated mine. As for the ebonics used in rap, that is a problem I have. All it is, is someone talking like that for the whole song, and you see it from every rap artist there is. And then you get people like Eminem who also has to talk like that. And even little kids are starting to talk like that and I think that's a joke. I don't think it was shit, I think it was opinion. You claim that the lyrics are deep and meaningful, but I don't see how everyone talks about getting laid and going to the club and getting women is meaningful, and while that may not apply to all rap artists, the ones I have heard have all said something along those lines.
dissin rap is one thing but talking about tupac is another. alright TUPAC FUCKIN IS THE DEFINITION OF RAP. tupac is his real name and before you run your mouth like the asshole you are, get your facts straight. rap has been around a long time, you cant change that. if you were to go to the hood and say rap sucks, let alone tupac, they will fuckin kill you on the damn spot whether their black, white, asian, arabic, or blue.
I don't want to sound like I am racist at all when I write this, but I used Tupac as an example of the types of names they have. I couldn't care less about any rap artist at all, and I think that some of the names that they have are borderline on pathetic jokes. Yeah it's his real name, but it sounds exactly like nearly every other rappers name there is. I wasn't running my mouth because I didn't call everyone "Stupid LITTLE BITCHES for likin rap and I am dissin all of you because you are morons for likin rap" like something you would have written if you had my views. I didn't target anybody, so don't bother calling me names to try and sound bigger than you really are because fact is, we are on the internet, and no one gives two shits about insults people throw at others. Rap has been around for a long time, yes, but it has had zero development. With rock music when it first started, it was different, like rap was, but over the years, new bands came out with different styles. You had AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, any death metal band, Creed, Rolling Stones, Motorhead and Queen and they all had different styles and different sounds. You get some guy like 50 Cent, and he sounds exactly the same as any other rapper out there, and that indifference is why I see rap as being shallow and a poor showing of supposed talent. You seem to confuse me with someone who has the brain capacity of a snail by saying that I would actually go up to these little rap loving gangs and insult the music they love. People have different opinions, and it doesn't show very good things for rap fans if they take such offense to people 'dissin' their music. I have got nothing against rap fans, and I am stating why I will never be one. If you can't accept that, big deal. Call me an asshole for stating my opinion and it is a big deal.
these rappers fuckin talk about the same shit because that's their lifestyle. if they like clubs they like clubs, if they hate other *****s then they hate other *****s. face it rap is takin over rock music just deal with it. im not sayin you should hate rock im just saying that rap doesnt suck. its heard all around the world more then rock is. rock had its time and now rap is gonna have its time.
Admitting that rap's lyrics are just all duplicates of one another just wins my argument for me. Where is the innovation? Where is the originality? If you just love hearing the same types of songs talked over and over again in the same style by all rappers, go ahead and do it but leave me out. But one problem I do have with rap is that it influences all young children into thinking that music is all about hearing someone talk about getting laid and they are all just conforming to everyone elses taste in music. I don't even consider rap music, because for one, the lyrics are generally just spoken, and they are shallow and identical as well. I wouldn't dislike it as much if there were different styles of rap, but hearing the same thing played over the radios and on tv across the world that nearly all people worship makes me angry that something I think is actually talented (rock music) is put behind rap.
I will never deal with rap being the number 1 music genre around the world, because it is all ridiculous from my opinion. Yes there are a lot of fans, but how many of them are just conforming to everyone else? I don't want to do that and if it means giving my opinion against rap, I am going to do it. I just cannot see why it is so popular, but I know that others have different tastes. I for one cannot stand it and it makes me sick that no one has heard of the bands I love and that rap music which to me is all just the same, is prominent all around the world. I won't take it, and I am going to continue hating rap with a passion, because I believe I have my reasons, and I just cannot stand it. Rock had its time yes, but it deserves to keep on having its time, because there are so many good bands being churned out that it's a disgrace that no one has heard of them. Rap is indifferent, and rock is still improving and developing. So why should rap have all the fans? I have no idea why.
