Joined here after usually using Wrestlezone for live text commentary and for spoilers. So thought it was time to join the forums

Alright so really I just wanted to start a new thread and discuss some ideas, but the forum says no, so Ill just post my thoughts in here, maybe someone will read them, maybe not............
It is time for the WWE to start a new television program. With storylines getting repetitive (Orton vs. McMahon seems a lot like a certain non successful : P Austin/McMahon angle) and a lack of new stars being developed on RAW and SMACKDOWN, it is time for the WWE to revolutionize sports entertainment again. I think the direction the WWE should take involves a monthly ran television show (Im sure MYNETWORK would air anything for them) called MADNESS (without the Macho Man). Throughout the history of sports entertainment TOURNAMENTS have drawn the attention of fans. From the afore mentioned Macho Mans world title tournament win, to Bret Harts first I-C run, or the SUPER EIGHT tournament, even the KING OF THE RING and the BRAWL FOR ALL have garnered the attention of many fans. A differently themed simple 8 man (or team) tournament (one night only), could bring in fans and help elevate talent. Similar to the NFL TODAY, MADNESS could have a pre game show, with hosts announcing their picks. Id personally love to see Joey Styles, Steve Austin, Shane McMahon, Ric Flair and Victoria host the pre game. The key for success would be the theme of the tournaments. We could bring back WCWs old lethal lottery, and have superstars randomly teamed up, the winner of the lethal lottery would receive a tag team title shot the following week. You could also add a KING OF THE RING tournament. Possibly a cruiser weight tournament, with the winner earning a title shot (think CM PUNK, CHRIS JERICHO, KOFI, SHAWN MICHEALS, JOHN MORRISON, SHANE HELMS, REY REY, TBK all in a tourney). We could have a giants tournament (with BIG SHOW, KHALI, TAKER, KANE, HENRY, VISC, SNITSKY, UMAGA). In December of each year, you have the 8 top WWE rookies compete for the Rookie of the Year title. I believe at some point you could have a new star tournament, with developmental guys given the opportunity to cut a promo and then compete for a WWE contract. Near Halloween you could have an IMITATION TOURNAMENT and 8 stars could compete as legends of the past in a tournament (think Jeff Hardy as the Great Muta). Possibly a hardcore tournament, a divas tournament, a cyber tournament where the fans choose the 8 participates, the possibilities are endless!

it would be a lot of tournament, but the UFC used to do the super events that way, and I think it would catch a lot of fans who are tired of the same ole RAW ECW SMACKDOWN TNA dealio. Its just a thought, but I know id be hooked. They could kayfabe a whole lot more and make it seem like a serious tournament, the average sports fan would love it...........
