Cena can't wrestle, Cena sucks. That's all I hear. Yes, I'm tired of him being the champ, but as long as Cena makes WWE money then he'll be at the top. As far as Carlito vs Shelton WM 23 Main Event? It would be the lowest drawling WM of all time.

I do agree with the fact that Raw does need a new Champ. I think people are saying that Cena sucks for the simple fact that nobody wants to see a Champ have the title for almost 2 yrs now. Yea he has lost it twice in that time but it was for a month as the most during that time. People want to see someone else hold the title. Maybe even Cena go after it for a little bit. Maybe when he loses the title he will see that the "Marine" thing isnt working and he will go back to being a "Thug". That is when I liked Cena. He was more entertaining. People like a bad ass, and Cena isnt that right now with his current gimmick. I mean when the Rock was a Heel he was still moving merchandise so I dont know why WWE wouldnt make Cena the heel that we all know that he is better at playing anyway. People get tired of seeing him "Overcome the odds" all the damn time. Turn him heel and give the strap to Edge, HBK, or HHH. I would prefer HBK, but thats just me.

I would love to see a new WWE champion even if it means Umaga winning it. I agree with the people who says that it is the same crap every week when Cena is champion "overcoming the odds". If there was no Rated RKO i would like to see either Orton or Edge have the belt right now b/c i think RAW is more suited to having a heel champ like when HHH was a heel champ 2 years ago, it was way more entertaining to see him cheat in just about every title defense than seeing Cena plow through the competition fair and square as if he was an unbeatable robot(maybe he should go back to being Prototype).
SD is fine with Batista as World champ IMO. He looks like a champion but he certainly doesn't wrestle like one. SD is more suited with a face champ and Batista is obviously one of the most over faces on SD(close with Taker). When Batista wasn't champ we had to witness Rey Mysterio becoming World Champion which lowered his fan base since most people thought it was a pity present resulting from Eddie's death. We also had to witness Booker T become a "King"(We got enough of those IMO) which was his ticket to becoming World champ even though it is annoying to listen to him speak British and even more annoying watching his very long entrance week after week. JBL was a much much better heel champ than King Booker was IMO.
Angle was the only good thing to happen to SD when Batista was gone but his reign only lasted 2-3 months.
If i had to choose a new World champ on SD Benoit is definitely the top candidate but i think he is done going after the World/WWE titles in his career similar to Kane and Taker.

I'm just tired of Cena being presented as "indestructible." Nothing anyone does really keeps hims down in a match. He's not particularly good at selling nontraditional moves, either, which means we get straight up the same routine all the time (Monday night being the exception, but it'll take more than one night to win my love) and his matches with the highflyers makes the highflyers look incompetent. I bet he'll beat Umaga, too- especially since TNA just ended Samoa Joe's winning streak and WWE keeps very little going for more than a year. I would almost rather see HHH with the belt right now.

I think with the John Cena thing, their trying to make him look like a legit champion. Hogan held the belt for 4 years straght. Austin held the belt for about 11 months at one point. I just feel that he should have never lost to Edge last year at NYR and had him keep the belt up to WM 22 and had him go over Triple H but lose it the next month.
Are you talking about the John Cena we've all been watching?
There are far superior athletes who aren't even in the title hunt e.g. Shelton Benjamin, Johnny Nitro etc. He isn't supposed to "fight" he's in a wrestling competition not a fist fight competition. All his wins are squashes with him getting his ass beat through out the match and finally pulling off his 5 moves of doom for the win....how exciting.

I've had enough. Everyone that is reading this thread knows that deep down inside, Cena sucks. He is an icon to make money off of 8 yr old fan boys who think "You can't see me" is a friggin national anthem. RAW used to be good, but now I toss up between watching it or washing dishes. Dishes win if Cena wrestles a squasher. Triple H is my favourite wrestler, but he wont be champ for a while. Making him heel is a bad move now, or even a while after the DX split (hopefully not). I dont have a problem with Umaga, if he changes the belt, and massacres Cena in a good match.
For Taker the end is near. They arent giving the belt to someone who wont wrestle every night, hes a good wrestler, but he may also lose his aura if he becomes champ (just a chance). Do you honestly see Undie becoming champ, or is it just a dream? I admit he has been raped of the title on numerous occasions, but thats not the point. ok i am getting tired of cena he should not be champion, i hate the spinner belt. I think the wwe title should go back to smackdown and the world heavyweight championship should go back to raw, and they should get rid of ecw. I think jbl should be the wwe champion he was a great heel. I also think triple h should be world heavyweight champion, and break up dx. I would rather see shawn michaels and triple h fued. Hey I think smackdown is the better show, i would rather watch smackdown any day. Hey get rid of umaga and his manager and cryme tyme they are a bunch of jokes.

To comment on the actual title of this thread, I don't agree that we need new world champions.
Batista - This guy has not really held the title for very long. His name has been associated with the World Title for almost two years, but he has held it for a combined time of about 9 months. It's clear that WWE want to push this guy to be one of their bigger names, so he's going to need to carry that belt for a while. And as far as size, intensity and heart, who on the Smackdown roster can really hold a candle to Bastista right now? Kennedy? MVP? Undertaker? No, no and no. And don't even mention Booker....that guy has been a joke in my eyes since he walked in the door. So no, Batista needs to (and will) keep the belt for the better part of 2007. He may drop it once to fuel a fued in between PPV's but, he will be champ for a good 10 out of 12 months this year.
As for Cena, yes, I do believe it's time he drop the belt for a while. While I like the job he has done as champion (all those hating on Cena, STFU already, he's doing his job), I don't like the spinner belt at all. I am old enough to remember how the WWE title was treated with such prestige, and to me that spinner shit is disrespectful. But that's not why I want him to drop the title now, I just think it's time. He's a big enough name now that he doesn't NEED to carry the belt to be in the main event. Someone else needs to have some time with the belt now. Edge has already had a couple reigns but I wouldn't mind seeing another. Right now, I actually would love to see Orton get the belt, I really would.
As for the ECW champ....I honestly don't care enough to comment because this latest version of ECW won't make it past June. It's nothing like the real ECW, it's just a watered down WWE product with a few extra garbage cans and tables. Nothing special, nothing impressive, and soon to be extinct again.

lets start with smackdown, i felt that batista needs to face people who will give him good matches because his matches with king booker were crap (also king booker should go back to booker t) and the reason he hasn't had mixed reactions is because he held the title for 9 months then won the title back again after 11 months which meant people wouldnt get bored with him.he should fued with benoit because then he could have some good matches (instead of beating up crap guys like sylvan) or he could face someone like kane (but the matches maybe slow and boring).

I like cena but seriously i loved it when not just 1 person goes after the belt, I liked it how 2 or 3 people go after at the same time. that shitty stortline with edge and cena was terrible. it was so aggravating that everytime one person loses it then the other person has to get it back and then it keeps going on and on. Man i want Kane to be champion he would be a frickin good one too.
