Was the real reason TNA moved to Monday this week because of College Football?

Whay would they change nights because of college football when they had to go head to head with the fiesta bowl which drew a solid 9 and thgo against raw. Your out thinking the room here. They changed days to try and go head to head with raw and show that they can be major players in this business simple as that

Does anyone in here really think they had a chance to beat WWE. I mean WWE put out a terrible show and people are eating it up. Bret didnt do jack and people love him. TNA put on a better show and got destroyed. And I'm sure they did change it to Monday because of the National Title, because if they really wanted to go head to head with Raw why wouldnt they try to do it when Raw doesnt have someone like Bret Hart coming in. Correct me if I'm wrong but TNA is not going to be on Monday again next week right? So saying TNA was on Monday because they want to go head to head with Raw is not true because if it was they would be on Monday again. If they wanted to see how they would fair against Raw why would they go up against a show where Bret Hart returns? Also just throwing this out there, when was the last time WWE showed a rerun? Thursday Night Impact should of been a whole new show.

People have to remember that they had hogan to help with ratings without hogans name being pushed around TNA wouldnt have entertained a monday show, but the hogan hype will die down and all these old guys taking the spotlight will rear its ugly head again, TNA prides itself on making new stars and having a great young core but adding flair and him being pushed in the middle of the Angle and AJ feud just spits on the face of all the other young guys

TNA knew it was going to go head to head with RAW eventually. So why not try it out and go head to head during a week where they would have lost viewers to the BCS Title game?

I don't buy that either because Spike Execs pretty much said the rating doesn't matter, it's the breakdowns they wanted. See what worked, see what didn't work.

Besides we are talking about Bischoff and Hogan here. While I may not like Hogan, he isn't the type to run away from a challenge. Furthermore, TNAs ratings aren't great anyways, their bad actually, and its not like WWE where he answers to a board, so who cares if they lose a few points

the reason they went on monday was to show mcmahon that hogan and bishoff could still kick his ass like they use to and they did exactly that they kicked hiss ass again after all this time mcmahon still cant compete with hogan and bishoff tna had 3 times a better show it was wonderful

The National Title date has been planned for over a year, a lot longer then the plan for TNA of 2 months. Im not saying that TNA would have planned a big show for today if they didnt go head-to-head RAW, but their ratings would have been in the 0.0's. They would have not even reached a 1.0, which would have really sucked for them. TNA is not the WWE, and not even where WCW ratings wise, and there is no way that could have taken a bad shot like that facing the Title Game.

Well let's see, the NBA finals and MLB World Series had games on Thursdays, and TNA didn't move then. They were bowl games on last year for Thursday, and TNA didn't move then. On the west coast, The game was over before TNA started. Um.... No doesn't seem like it was planned. Seems like a crazy theory TNA marks want to make up for losing the Monday Night Showdown.

The Thursday night replay drew a 0.9 after drawing a 1.5 for the live show Monday. I think they easily could have drew their normal number plus a higher normal thanks to hogan if they stayed on thursday. The move was to take on Vince and the WWE.

Yes they have gone head-to-head with all those, but not a single one of those games get at LEAST a 13.7 every single year. A lot of times, those professional championships (other then the Super Bowl) are watched mainly by the teams host cities while in football, its watched nation wide big time. And Im not a TNA mark, I was just curious to see what everyone thinks. Everyone with a brain had to have realized that TNA was not going to beat WWE no matter what.
