Vickie as Alberto's Manager: What do you think?

We've all seen the promo skills of Alberto Del Rio and to be honest they're decent at best. But WWE has invested a lot of time into Del Rio from what I can tell. He was given the MITB contract which is usually meant for stars to elevate up the card but from what we've seen, Del rio has been in the same spot for a while now. So how about Vickie Guerrero breaks away from Dolph and takes in Del Rio as a client. I can just tell that Guerrero will get Del Rio massive heat once she gets out of whatever car Del Rio rides into the ring. Plus, it's definitely time for Guerrero to get some new talent, Dolph should break out on his own.

I'd like to see Del Rio somehow turn face. The guy has the moveset to make him a high flying big man, which would get him over with the fans. A lot of people may look at him and think there is no way he could turn, but the same was said about Sheamus, with his brutal moveset and his "mayonnaise" skin. But he was able to make the switch and I think Del Rio could too. It could be real game changer and bring on the strong Mexican markets since Rey Jr is a broken down mess who is either injured or suspended these days and Sin cara being a flop

I think the only way Del Rio could turn face was if he somehow was a no-nonsense kind of face similar to how Randy Orton has been. The only problem with this is that Del Rio has such little personality it's hard for the fans to even boo him, let alone cheer him. I think Vickie Guerrero aligning himself is actually be a pretty good idea, especially if Ricardo turned face and maybe Santino picked up his services and they formed a comedy duo. I definitely like the idea of one of his car's pulling up, Del Rio getting out and waiting just a moment and then Vickie gets out.

Vickie managing Alberto would be a great idea. He would become even more hated by fans and receive the level of heel heat that WWE always wanted him to get. This would also give Ziggler the opportunity to leave the stable and go out on his own. Then again, that didn't happen when Vickie allowed Swagger to join. Could the stable work with all 3 of them? I doubt it. Alberto and Ziggler make a better potential team than Alberto and Swagger. All three of them being her underlings does not make as much sense and would be too much. Either Swagger would get left out or we would start seeing the three of them tag teaming against 3 random faces each week. That does not seem like an outcome that will happen.

Regardless of what would happen with Swagger or Ziggler, I would support this idea if they went through with it. It's a great way for WWE to get the extreme amount of heel heat for Alberto that he has been unable to even come close to getting ever since CM Punk called him boring. Vickie has needed something new to do anyhow and I do NOT want her as the permanent GM. She already helped Ziggler, Swagger is a lost cause, so moving on to Del Rio as her next client makes a lot of sense to me. It benefits everyone involved, so I hope WWE considers such an angle.

There would be plenty of material that could arise from a a vickie / alberto alliance.

I'm not sure on the feelings of Vickie bringing up Eddie, but she could definitely claim Alberto is better than Eddie ever was. Also their could be a comedy sense between Ricardo and her.

Naturally their is going to be a fued between Dolph and Vickie's next client. But i don't want Dolph to turn face and stop his momentum.

But Vickie and ADR could be very entertaining and gain alot of fresh heat.

Good point. If this did happen, Del Rio would certainly get a lot of heat. It seems Vickie has gained the heat that I thought she lost when she had both Ziggler and Swagger so just imagine the heat she can give Del Rio. But the problem is, if this doesn't work out for Del Rio, then it could probably be his last shot to be quite honest. Vickie's a great heat magnet so hopefully Del Rio doesn't deflect the heat that she usually gets.

It would be an ingredient that could elevate ADR to being a genuine Main Event heel. The possibilites with Vickie, Del Rio and (the excellent value) Ricardo would be substantially greater than what is currently not really working with ADR.




And it would lead to the freeing of the Ziggler 1!!!

Love the idea. And I'll tell you how it should happen.

Del Rio needs to win the WHC at MitB. Vickie becomes impressed with Del Rio considering he can become a champion after Dolph's failed attempts. Dolph is walking backstage the Monday after MitB and turns a corner to find Vickie and Del Rio flirting and Alberto shower her his belt as she let's out some "oohs" and "aws" and declaring how shiny it is. They seal their meeting with a kiss. Ziggler then confronts Del Rio, Vickie takes Alberto's side saying he can actually win the belt.

This leads to a feud between Del Rio and Ziggler. Which is great for numerous reasons.

1) We've already seen the two put on a very entertaining match for the #1 contendership. Therefore we'd undoubtedly see a few more great matches from them.
2) Dolph will become face.
3) Dolph will have a main event level feud.
4) Del Rio will be able to draw real heat.

...but what to do with Ricardo?

Yeah I like the idea a lot. It would give Del Rio the heat he needs, and what they expected him to get in the first place. Del Rio is not a horrible talker, but she could fil in for what he lacks in that area. Vickie needs to move on to another star and this would be the perfect fit IMO.
