Fucking Hostile

It’s never wise to taunt a giant – and it’s even less wise to run one down with a luxury automobile. At WWE Capitol Punishment, Alberto Del Rio will feel the wrath of a recovering Big Show when The Mexican Aristocrat embarks on a collision course with The World’s Largest Athlete in Washington, D.C.

After Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez “accidentally” hit the former World Heavyweight Champion with one of Del Rio’s extravagant rides on Raw – sidelining the giant for weeks – the devious duo mocked the 7-foot Superstar in his absence. First, Del Rio blamed Big Show for the incident, claiming that The World’s Largest Athlete had damaged his car and is therefore responsible for its repairs. (READ MORE: “WHAT’S THE DAMAGE?”)

Then, the smarmy Rodriguez disrespectfully dressed up like Big Show – complete with a bald cap, singlet and crutches – so Del Rio could “apologize” to the hit-and-run victim in person. After that humiliating display, The Mexican Aristocrat issued a stern warning to Big Show, should he return to WWE seeking retribution.

Even though Show suffered a crushed knee and internal injuries thanks to Rodriguez’s questionable driving, the goliath roared back to Raw during a special three-hour “All Star Night.” Giving Del Rio’s personal ring announcer a tune-up of a different nature, The World’s Largest Athlete utterly decimated Rodriguez, inspiring guest Raw General Manager “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to schedule a match between Big Show and Del Rio at the first-ever Capitol Punishment pay-per-view.

Will the massive Big Show flatten The Mexican Aristocrat? Or will Del Rio send The World’s Largest Athlete back to the body shop? Find out when these two rivals collide at Capitol Punishment, this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.

Oh god, I am not looking forward to this in the least. Show hasn't had a good PPV match in well...... ever I think and Del Rio is no miracle worker so I don't see this one breaking the streak.

Del Rio should by all right go over here but then again Punk should have gone over last year and take a look at how that turned out. I really hope Del Rio wins decisively and Show doesn't squash him but looking at his track record I wouldn't count on it. Please just keep it short.

Thoughts on this one?

ADR after Rodriguez interferes and Show turns into the Cross Arm-Breaker.

I cant see this being an overall great match but it hopefully wont be a train wreck.Lets hope Show can put on a decent show and ADR can do his best to stop it from being a train wreck.

If Brodus was not off shooting his movie this would be the time to bring him back to get the win. ADR is in danger of becoming a jobber if he dont win her as he has had his "destiny" thwarted what 3-4 times (Cena, Edge, Christian) and I have a real hard time thinking that the armbreaker would even hurt show unless they played up a bad arm (instead they hurt his knee). So unless ADR finds new back up I see him getting his lights turned out and another promising start in the WWE derailed

I agree with you on the Big Show case, he fucking sucks. I really don't like where this is going, and if WWE was smart in making "BIG" stars, they would make Big Show tap out to Alberto Del Rio. Even if it is on the injured arm....

I don't know as if I'd go THAT far... yea, his matches are generally a little slower but that's all part of playing the part of a giant.

This, I will say, is nothing like a giant feud. This was Big Show getting hit by a car (for some damn reason I can't remember).

But even though I too get bored watching Show some of the time, I do think that he's been the most versatile (for lack of a better word) giants in Pro Wrasslin'.

The match itself though will be kind of interesting to see how ADR performs in this scenario as its kind if a right of passage to beat Show nowadays.

And whoever said an Arm Breaker wouldn't hurt Show should get put in one, they don't feel too fuckin good.

Have a great day everyone!

I do not think it is possible to lock in the Cross Armbreaker on someone as large as the Big Show. Maybe it’s time for Alberto to use a new finisher Sunday Night. I definitely see Alberto walking away with the win here; however, with the way The Big Show is acting, it will more than likely be a disqualification win. Ricardo may get some kind of interference in there if he isn’t gone from Monday’s attack and I definitely feel like Kane will make his presence felt. I am not caring to much about the match, only the outcome and what Alberto will do afterwards.

Hamler's Prediction – Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio should find a way to win here. Ricardo's presence at ringside should play a factor in this one, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one ended in a DQ. As far as the match goes, I can't say I'm expecting too much. Del Rio will probably spend the majority of the match trying to dodge the big man, and he will target the "injured body part." Show will shrug off Del Rio's best efforts, but Del Rio should out smart the giant in this match.

DUDE FUCK YEA A BIG SHOW MATCH!!!

Yea no, I could not possibly be brought to give a fuck less about this. Big show deserved to get run over, her was being a fucking jerk. Del Rio is good, but needs the right person to work with. Big Show is not that person. Del Rio should go over, certainley does not hurt Show to lose.

Blah is the word.

This feud has not given me a reason to be the slightest bit interested in it. Yeah I'm sorry but I'm just not emotionally invested in this. Del Rio has more to gain by winning this match but for some reason I can imagine Show picking up the win. 'Course, we might not get a clean finish. Oh please just don't wind up ending like that terrible Show/Punk feud from last year.

I can't see a reason for Alberto Del Rio losing this one cleanly.
In matter of fact, I think that Alberto Del Rio will win this match but he is going to suffer, I doubt that Big Show only wants to wrestle him, he will be disqualified, after putting him out.

If Del Rio makes The Big Show taps out, he is going to be my number one pick to make John Cena say "I Quit" a year from now...
Del Rio needs the victory to stay relevant, that is what I think!

Future Prediction - Alberto Del Rio

They have done a good job of promoting this feud even if it is just filler. Del Rio will likely win because he needs a good victory to gain momentum if he is going to challenge Cena (or Truth? hope not!) for the WWE Championship at Summerslam like many have predicted. Show has nothing to gain from a victory here, this is only going on to give Del Rio something to do. The match should be pretty good and it will probably go on towards the end of the show. I hope Del Rio wins, but you already knew that.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Alberto Del Rio will defeat Big Show.

I'm not the biggest Del Rio fan, but even I think this feud seems like a bad choice for him. Show should stick to the tag scene at this point and having him punk out Del Rio, like I fear we will see on Sunday, isn't going to help him in the slightest bit on RAW. Here's to hoping Del Rio goes over in a quick an inoffensive match, because Big Show sure as shit doesn't need the win.
