Update: If anyone is aware or cares...

D-Man

Gone but never forgotten.
I'm not sure how many of you know but IC25 and I (along with many others on Wrestlezone, I'm sure) took a direct hit as a result of Hurricane Sandy. IC25 has been without power, heat, internet, etc in his home since Monday evening.

Fortunately for me, I got my power back at 5am on Wednesday morning. Since then, my family has been roughing it at my new home, sleeping on floors and such. IC25's wife stayed here for a day and other friends have utilized my good fortune. I'm also thankful that I got my internet, phone, and cable back this morning, as well.

Unfortunately for others, this is a total nightmare. People have lost their homes, possessions, are freezing, hungry... Houses are being run by generators that run on gasoline... as a result, gasoline is scarce and there are lines at every working gas station exceeding 50-60 cars... I know friends that waited over 2 1/2 hours just to get the $20 limit they set on gas. Others waited for hours just to near the station only to find out that they ran out of gas. This is just terrible.

We'll be missing from the forums for a little while longer but I ask that you all put your jokes and snide remarks to the side and pray for all of us right now. Take care.

Take care guys, got y'all in my thoughts. Glad to hear you guys are alright which is the most important part.

We certainly will man. Are any other members of the group in trouble? If there's anything we can do let us know.

Hope all is well. All of you all effected by Sandy are in my thoughts and prayers for sure.

Any of you have any serious damage to your homes or selves?

Thankfully, no. We live in the northern part of New Jersey. It's the Central-Southern parts (Shore, boardwalk, etc) that were decimated. This link shows an amateur video of some people walking the "ruins" along the beaches and infamous NJ boardwalk in Seaside Heights. Yes, the same place that Jersey Shore was based on. That show aside, myself and many others went here with our families when we were young all the way up until our mid-20's. It sickens me to see this...

I've already cried enough after seeing this. Hate to ruin your evening but this is just so disheartening...

Norcal, IC25, friends, and family are all good. We are all in homes with power and warmth. Thanks for your concerns.

I get paid today, & plan on donating a some cash to Red Cross. I don't know how much help it'll be to you guys out there, but it appears to be one of the few ways that people like me who don't live any where near the East Coast can help.

If anyone else is interested and/or able to donate here's the link

Thanks, bro. That really means a lot.

I was without power for 3 days which caused my house to plummet to 58 degrees, and had a tree crush my fence in the back yard. Neighbor has a pool with my other neighbors shed in it. Shed wasn't bolted down, flew up and landed in their pool, destroying their fence and pool in one fell swoop. Branch also fell and scraped the side of my car, but other than that, I consider myself lucky. Still have a house and nobody in my family was injured or had any significant damage come to their home.

As for the Shore, it's heartbreaking to see what it has become. As somebody who has vacationed multiple times a summer in both Seaside and LBI every year of my life, it kills me to see this.

We got power back around 9 at work (where I live). Thankfully we have a gas stove so we were able to cook for the residents. I wasn't worried for myself more so making sure all the residents got all the necessities they needed. We thankfully weren't hit that bad. My mom's shed had a tree crash atop of it, barely missing the house.

Glad to hear that everyone is ok your way, I saw the photos of NJ and wasn't sure how bad you guys got it where you are.

My thoughts are with you guys and everyone else who is struggling due to the storm. Hang in there! :)

In all seriousness though, hope everyone's doing alright up in the north east.

Been keeping track of IC on facebook. Hope everything is getting better for all of you on the east coast.

Looks like IC25 and myself are fully up and running with power, cable, internet and such. However, the gas situation is dire. Hours of waits on lines that stretch miles down the highways. This is bad... REALLY bad. And I won't be heading to work until things get better.
