Overall, this is a pretty intriguing night of fights.
Kongo vs. Barry, if nothing else, should be a decent Heavyweight battle between two guys who look for the KO. However, there's also the possibility both guys will gas out after the first round, and we could get a glorified game of Rochambeau going, as is tradition when Kongo fights.
I feel bad for Rick Story... he would not have fought Charlie Brenneman on a month's notice, that's for sure. A win really does nothing for him, and a loss would be disastrous for his career.
The other two fights on the main card - Mitrione vs. Morecraft should be a lot of fun, as should Matt Brown vs. John Howard, where both guys are fighting for their jobs. On paper, it should be a war.
The prelims have a lot of intriguing fights too.
Joe Stevenson and Tyson Griffin, formerly both top Lightweights, have dropped down a weightclass to try their luck at Featherweight. Both guys are on life support in the UFC.
Charles Oliveira vs. Nik Lentz is interesting too. I wonder if Oliveira will be able to avoid getting hugged against the cage for three rounds.
