He just lost to Cruz. He has lost every UFC title fight and hasn't come close to winning for the most part. He's not getting another shot at Cruz.

I was paraphrasing what Mike Goldberg said, though he also added the caveat that those wins were in fights that only went three rounds. Not sure if that makes a difference.
