These days, WWE's so-called "big announcements" are always disappointing and not nearly as surprizing as they're billed to be. Honestly, the timeline would fit better if HBK became the new GM for RAW. If that happened and another person replaced Teddy Long on Smackdown, perhaps JBL? Although we all know it'll probably be a dumb announcement like Long vs. Johnny Ace @ Mania. BORING!!

Does anyone want to see Teddy Long any more? Laurinitis is one of the best heels in WWE right now and has tremendous heat. The sooner WWE gets rid of Teddy Long, the better. Playa.

Assuming by WWE's predictability, probably something to do with the GM bout from last Tuesday and tonight's RAW.
I'm mean, we're talking about the board of directors A.K.A WWE Creative team making this announcement on a replacement for both brands, so not a big return or anything you'd expect like Brock Lesnar is going to happen.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who despises Teddy Long as an on-air character. He definetely cannot be the badass in this feud with Ace. Yet another gimmick match @ Mania that is taking up room others should be getting. Troubling question, which one is Snooki this year: Ace or Long?

Probably something where they will switch shows for a week to see who can handle the other one effectively. Of course both will be handled well and the board will not have come to a conclusion. Then after that they'll announce some 4 on 4 or 3 on 3 type match where the winner will handle both shows.
I, personally, am getting quite sick of this angle and will be glad to see it come to an end.

Which means nothing, because they each make matches on each other's shows, and with each other's talent anyway...despite the fact that it makes absolutely no fucking sense and it hurts me inside so badly that I think I just got cancer, AIDS, and diabetes.
Johnny Ace has taken wonderfully to TV, and Teddy Long needs to go away for a while. I like Teddy. No, seriously, he can be very effective. It's just run its course for now. Hell, I would not mind seeing him be a manager in about 4-6 months. His schtick with Aksana went from hilarious and entertaining to something that makes me want to cover myself with Jello, douse my clothes with gasoline, and set myself on fire, and I am afraid of Jello.

It'll obviously be GM vs GM at Wrestlemania, but it won't be the two GMs going at each other. The way they're building up certain superstar allegiances to certain GMs, it'll most definitely be some sort of elimination-type tag match.

its gonna be about johnny ace taking on teddy long, or a team representing each wreslting each other for control. its a great way to get more people involved in wrestlemania without creating a silly feud. however....
i've been watching old johnny ace clips from japan, the guy invented the diamond cutter and is a beast. hes stiff and awkward, but i'd love to see him hit a DDT on the ring apron.

What if Tuesdays WWE.com announcement really turns out to be that Shawn will GM Both Shows.....then they will announce on SMACKDOWN that the decision will stand until ClownShoes stable meats The Hollah Mans stable at WM28 where the winner will become the dual permanent GM for both shows . That will lead to 1 Brand with 2 World Champions (for now) after Wrestlemania!
This is exactly what is going to happen. Both have set they are not running their respective shows next week. It is as simple as John L running SD and Long running Raw. However I wouldnt be surprised if they announce the team Laurinitas Vs team Long as well. Thats the best thing they could do to get more people on the mania card. After cole and lawler last year a one on one between the 2 is something i DO NOT want to see. Though if they go the team vs team direction(which im almost certain they will). It should be something that comes together on Raw between the 2 or even Vince himself stepping and and making the match. It shouldnt be something just randomly announced on the website

My guess is tat they won't do MITB at Mania, but will have a multi person ladder match for control of both shows. It'll get a lot of guys in, we'll get te match type we all want nd it'll put and end to one of the 2 insipid gm's. The othe theory would be that each will pick. Rep for a match at Mania.

TEDDY WAS A SLOW COUNTING CRAPPY REFEREE so I to this day never understood how he got promoted to a GM and remained there so long. Also never understood why he does that dumb dance especially with no rhythm. But yeah I'm quite sure the announcement will involve him and Johnny Ace. Wish they would both go away.

I think it has to be a special guest referee for either the HHH Taker match or the Cena Rock match. Or it could be *yawn* a GM v GM match. But I so dont want that!!!
Lets have HBK as Ref for HIAC and Stone Cold as ref for Cena Rock (although Vince would prob be a more realistic choice).

I want to see Teddy Long leave. He's had no really change of character since he's been in charge. However, I don't want to see one man in charge of both shows. I personally think that would be shit.
I'm guessing that it's going to be a match for complete control, one on one Big John v Theodore would be a car crash. It looks like they're setting it up to be Otunga v Santino.

I cant see there being a MITB match. We already have a HIAC and that would arguably cheapen two gimmick PPV's. They should do away with them anyway!!!! Thats another story. Ideally yes, lets see a Ace vs Long WM28 match AND a MITB match!!!

I think it would be perfect if the Two-Man Power Trip actually had power. I would rather see Triple H run Raw and Stone Cold Steve Austin run Smackdown, but thats neither here nor there with the Super Smackdown Raw Super Show. Great idea here!!
I for one will be done with wrestling outside of the video games if Laryngitis becomes the GM of both shows. Long isn't that good, but Laryngitis isn't suited for the GM role. He'd be better as a heel manager, like Vickie. That is actually the problem with Michael Cole too. Good, heat magnet characters, worst possible role for said characters.

Did anyone else notice the enormous lack of ANY crowd reaction for Primo & Epico? Kofi's team got a huge pop & Swagger's team got booed by everyone in that stadium! If WWE wants to make the tag team titles relevant in any matter they would have taken a huge step having them drop the titles last night. I mean C'MON use your talent for WM28!!
