Triple H VS Brock Lesnar Hell In a Cell? Possibly

Occasional Pre-Show
I just read on Wrestlezone that Wwe might be planning on having Triple H vs Brock Lesnar 2 at the Hell In a Cell Pay Per View. And it got me thinking

Will the Match be a Hell In a Cell Match or a normal Match?

After how intense the Match was at Summerslam, Should they be allowed to use the Cell properly like the good old days and will they be able to use Blood?

Not that I don`t appreciate the brutality but I would really like to watch Lesnar in a proper match. In his first run, he was a very good wrestler...would like to see this aspect really. As for Hell in a Cell, I don`t really want to see that. Truth I am not really for a rematch between those two. We`ve seen the best HIAC this year, nothing will top that. As for blood, it is not WWE`s policy,so don`t expect that.

I hope if they do go this route, the PPV numbers bomb. HHH has no business being in another feud with Lesnar, especially considering his first feud with Lesnar was weak and ended in a pretty crappy match. Lesnar/Cena was good all-around and the match was incredible to watch. I could barely stay awake for Lesnar/HHH. It was really boring.

I don't need to see them do the same thing in a HIAC this time. Especially if it means HHH "evens things up." I have no problem with HHH continuing to wrestle only a few times a year, but he has to be entertaining, and he's really losing that. He has no edge to his character anymore. I don't understand why just because they want to be PG, it means they completely throw out quality writing, story and character development and coming up with interesting angles out the window. There have been plenty of amazing and memorable PG movies. It feels like this year WWE has the attention span itself of a 2-year-old and doesn't care what sections of it's audience it continues to alienate.

HHH was one of the very last remaining good memories from the attitude era that is still active, but if we're just going to keep getting a watered-down HHH now then the Attitude Era can keep him.

This is why I don't like Hell in a Cell as a ppv!! They should be able to surprise us with these types of matches, right now, we all know when the next HiaC match is going to be and that's October! I liked how we got the match at Mania between HHH and Taker.. This is why I was thinking, Why not have HHH/Lesnar in a hell in a cell match, but at Survivor Series! It can help the buyrate for the once great ppv!

Also, I don't mind seeing another match between the 2 as long as it's not a standard singles match, something has to be added! Maybe HHH in-ring career? Who knows, but there isn't any other wrestler that hold a candle close to Brock.. I think it's fair to say Taker/Brock will take place at Mania, I don't mind seeing Punk go against Brock, although it's 2 different styles of wrestling going head to head.. Also, Brock has to win against Punk because he's a beast compared to him!

Anyway, back to the whole HHH/Lesnar II, I don't mind seeing it, in a hell in a cell.. But I would prefer it at Survivor Series..

Triple H VS Lesnar 2 would be pointless. Lesnar lost his big comeback match to John Cena, he needed to gain some credibility (especially if WWE plans on having Taker VS Lesnar at Wrestlemania 29), and he gained that credibility by defeating Triple H at Summerslam. Lesnar has nothing to prove to HHH, and if a second match actually happened, I'm pretty sure HHH would go over. It's the only logical outcome, because there would be no point in having Lesnar beat HHH for a second time.

Triple H has piled up more than enough accolades during his WWE career. After all, he took The Undertaker to the limit at Wrestlemania three times (fuck you, WWE, I do remember Wrestlemania 17), the man is a certified legend, and HHH is a thirteen time world champion.

But WWE is putting a lot of effort into Triple H's possible retirement storyline, so seeing a second match between these two wouldn't shock me. Lesnar and Triple H delivered a good match at Summerslam, but I'm not anxious to see another encounter between these two. I enjoyed the match, but in the end, Lesnar VS HHH really didn't live up to the tremendous hype. Lesnar got his first win, he can move on to other feuds, and Triple H can still fulfill the requirements for the non-wrestling side of his character, so do we really need to see these two go at again? Also, Lesnar VS HHH 2 wouldn't have the feeling of a "must-see" attraction anymore.

Im for another match with Trips and Brock. If they can get another match out of Brock before Mania they might as well take advantage of it. They already have a build up with Lesnar taking out HBK and breaking HHH's arm twice. I think Lesnar needs to go over again if they want to keep him looking stong going into Mania.

I'll be at Hell In A Hell in Atlanta GA and they better give us a great show. Wrestlemania 27 was horrible. And the two following Raws here were based on The Rock calling out Cena for WM28 & the 2nd was the muppets... Can we not get robbed again here in the Dirty South? So yeah in other words HHH Vs Lesnar better be on the card... If not than what else main events that PPV for an attitude era fan like myself... *Quick side note* That's how good the Attitude era was ... Im not even a fan of the product anymore. I hate Cena, Sheamus & Brodus Clay to name a few fan favorites but yet I watch to see a glimpse of what once was...

As much as I like the idea of Lesnar & HHH in the Cell, I think it will not & should not happen. Triple H does not need to beat Lesnar, and Lesnar does not need to beat HHH again, and with the Hell in a Cell being watered down over the past few years, it wouldn't be a great match. Taker vs. HHH was different, that had a huge story behind it and was filled with emotional & exciting moments. Lesnar vs. HHH would just be a Summerslam repeat with a Steel Chair, Steel Step, and Sledgehammer thrown into it. These two would've put on a heck of a Hell in a Cell match back in the Ruthless Aggression Era though. And after their Summerslam performances, this no longer is a big attraction anymore. Also I don't know why the WWE want to waste more of their dates with Lesnar so quickly and on such a PPV like Hell In A Cell, they need to save up as much dates as they can for Mania, that's more important. I guess if HHH-Lesnar II were to happen though at HIAC, only a few good things would come out of it; Lesnar would get a new opponent for Survivor Series, he'd stay for 2 months straight instead of just quitting after 1 PPV match like the last two times, and hopefully when he leaves after SS, he isn't "quitting" again, that would be borderline ******ed if it already isn't. And maybe both the WWE & World Titles won't be on the line in HIAC this year, just the WWE Championship & Lesnar/HHH II.

I really dont want to see this match not at HIAC in october. In order for a proper HIAC match to happen it has to be a surprise not at a themed PPV. Save it for Survivor Series or Royal Rumble not at the themed PPV. I will say it again, trips is my all-time favorite wrestler but the match at SummerSlam was good but not great by any stretch.

This was supposed to be the mega feud the perfect storm as they called it. I would more likely call it a Tropical Storm a step below. To me this feud doesnt need to happen Trips is a bona-fide legend,a man who has absolutely nothing to prove and is a thirteen time Champion.

Hell he took the Undertaker to his absolute max at three different WM's. Lesnar beat HHH so IMO he needs to move on to a different feud. I am not interested in seeing this feud again HIAC is so watered down it really wouldn't be a proper match anyway.

If the match happens blood again doesnt need to happen but a brutal match is in order. One that is just a dogfight to the end. Use the Cell just beat the shit out of each other.

Will the match be a Hell-in-a-Cell Match or a normal match?

Although HHH-Brock 2 could also possibly be a normal match (like the disappointing Show-Henry 2 and the old Sheamus-Del Rio 2), this would most likely be a stipulation match, not necessarily HIAC. I don't know, maybe a Last Man Standing Match? And as much as I don't want to see it happen again, I'm afraid it possibly will.

First of all, the match wasn't that intense. It just looked like it was because it was hyped so much. Now, should it happen again and be contested in HIAC, I don't see why they can't "use it properly" since it's "anything goes". And while I do think blood is appropriate for such a match, I don't think they'll be allowed to use it because of today being the PG Era, unless Brock decides to go MMA on Hunter (remember Cena-Brock at Extreme Rules 2012?).

If they did use a cell I don't think it would be used as much as in the past. Even the HHH/Taker End of an Era didn't use the cell to the level that it has been. I think the brutal cell days of old are gone for the time being. That being said I don't really want to see this match again in any form. Lesner won and he should move on to something else. I think if they did go again HHH would go over, and I don't see the point in that. HHH is a legend, and has done it all. No reason really at all for them to do it again.

A quick reason for me to think of is just to put on a great match and settle it. If HHH can give Lesnar the win inside hell in a cell. It makes the potential Taker match - all the more sweet.

I totally agree with you.

We all expect a Lesnar vs the streak for wrestlemania, and a lesnar looser both his two feud after his back is illogic.

The thing is the match wasn't all that great. I am a huge fan of both men, but this match was lacking IMO. Lesner beat HHH. He left him laying. What would he gain from doing it again? For that matter he beat Taker in Hell in a Cell years ago. Decisively. Lesner does not need to beat HHH again to make the Taker match more appealing. He however should not lose to HHH either if they are planning a Lesner/Taker match. If they want to have HHH come back for revenge then I think that itself should be Lesner's Mania match. It just doesn't make sense to me for them to have another match so soon with Brock's limited dates.
