Triple H vs Sheamus: Hell In A Cell

Pre-Show Stalwart
Id bet the house that this match happens at the Hell In A Cell ppv in October. So Triple H will be back within a month or two tops! Thoughts?

IDK about this, if the rumors of Triple H turning heel possibly at SummerSlam, siding with The Nexus, this match could be a main event at Hell In A Cell but I doubt it, I think Triple H will be turning heel. That is all I have to say about this.

Triple H will turn Heel and lead the Nexus.Come back and screw who ever faces Sheamus at Night of Champions for the WWE title.Get revenge on Sheamus, which leads to him continuing their feud into match at Hell in a Cell. Then the Nexus Interferes the match
which Triple H wins the match and WWE title.

There's simply too much speculation going on regarding Triple H to bet on anything with any real degree of certainty.

It's been said that Trips tore his biceps, can't remember if it's the right or left one, and that he could be out as late as December. It's also been heavily whispered in the past few months that Triple H could be turned heel, as he's reportedly wanted to turn heel for the past couple of years. There's been a lot of internet talk that Triple H might make an appearance Sunday and wind up joining The Nexus. I thought Stephanie McMahon was due to give birth about anytime now, so it's perfectly feesible that he'd take more time off to spend with the new baby.

Triple H vs. Sheamus at HIAC is far from a lock at this point.

Not much of a thread here and most likely will get closed but I'll play along. The reports are suggesting that HHH is more banged up than we thought and might be out til late this year. That would make this match impossible but I can see it happening if he heals up early. Most likely it would be for the WWE Championship since I'm sure Sheamus is walking out SummerSlam as champion. If that's the case then we are guaranteed title reign #14 for The Game since he has to get his revenge. That is something I am not looking forward to.

I hope not.....I wouldnt mind if Triple H never returned again to the ring....I love him and all, but he has kind of overstayed his welcome.....we have had him around pretty much consistently for his whole career barring a few leg injuries that he was forced to leave......If the match happens then great, as long as Sheamus wins...

This sounds like a great idea to me. I would love to see Triple H return and fight Sheamus whether it be in a Hell in A Cell Match or not. Sheamus needs to stay in the main event scene. I'm all for Triple H defeating Sheamus since Sheamuss injured him (keyfabe), but just don't make Sheamus become weak.

One thing- Triple H being injured by Sheamus is not just stroyline ... Triple H really was injured by Sheamus in the Elimination Chamber after a High Cross ... Triple H had neck problems ever since ...

Yeah, nothing is really known about Triple H and when he will be back for sure.So this match is yet again just rumours, until we see something like a promo or something is reported than this match is far from happening. But if it did it would be pretty cool, the match could be a battle of fist and weapons. It could be brutal which would be great as both men can do that.

This seems like it could very well happen, Hunter is scheduled to return around that time and will no doubt want revenge on the man who took him out and what better form of revenge than to not only take his title (assuming he stilll has it) but to take him out in what is arguably HHH's speciality match (it is certainly between him and Taker).

I have no problem with them having a grudge match inside Hell in a Cell, as long as its not for the WWE title. While Ive become a huge fan of Sheamus, he doesn't need the title anymore to be credible.

If you look back at most of the Hell in a Cell matches(excluding last years PPV) they were the blowoffs to major feuds. Taker and HBK. HHH and Foley. Orton and Taker. None of those matches involved titles, more, it was about settling scores. In fact, until last year, no title had EVER changed hands inside Hell in a Cell. With Sheamus having injured HHH, this would be the natural place to have the grudge match to end their feud. IF HHH is healthy to go for this PPV, Im all for it. Just not with the title involved.

I have been saying this these two were going to face off in a Hell in a Cell for ages now! It's coming! I am not sure whether he will retain at Night of Champions (I'd rather he doesn't), but these two facing off at Hell in a Cell would be a GREAT way to end there feud that has been going on since Elimination Chamber in February! I can tell you I want to see it! The fans would be glad to see Triple H feed Sheamus some steel and would be a excellent way to make Triple H return. I highly doubt he will be the leader of Nexus.

Yeah... I agree with a lot of the other posts. It is a toss up right now as to what is in store for "The Game"...

I personally do NOT wanna see him be the leader of Nexus. He has already been the leader of his share of "Factions". I think if the leader of Nexus turns out to be an active wrestler, that it will take away from Wade Barrett's push or run.

I think having Michael Cole or someone like that as The Nexus Leader works better IMO. That way they have that mouth piece they are looking for, but it doesn't take away from Barrett's role in the group.

How could Barrett end up as World Champion, with Trips in the group? It sort of contradicts what the group is supposed to be about in the first place. It is about THEM getting over in WWE. Not getting a veteran who is already over, OVER!

I don't think the Sheamus/Triple H feud is over. I like where they were going with it. I think anything they do or anywhere they go with this feud will work. Since he already put HHH on the shelf (In storyline), and has been 2 time WWE Champion. Sheamus is starting to really become a believable opponent for Trips. Sheamus has gone over Cena twice now for The Title.

The only bad thing that could happen in this feud, IMO, is Trips coming back and just squashing Sheamus!
