Some people say CM Punk is under-rated. Some people say CM punk is over-rated. I'm going to say that, it doesn't matter here. Macho Man beats him regardless.

Punk, in my honest opinion, is very skilled in the ring. He can work a good match, and despite lacking in some areas, would give Macho Man a very good run. However, that is just about all I can say here for Punk.

Savage is just too good here. In my opinion, he is one of the best ever, and tops my list of personal favorites. He can work with anyone, anywhere, seemingly at anytime. So I'd expect a very good match from these two. Savage, however, takes the win. He, in his prime was only overshadowed by guys like Hogan and the Warrior, some of the biggest names ever. CM Punk is seemingly overshadowed by everyone in a much smaller pool of stars.

I can see Punk going for a GTS, and Savage countering out, setting him up, and nailing the Elbow for the win. Macho Madness for the win here.

I have to give this to Savage. I think CM Punk has shown a lot of promise in the WWE but he's just never really been able to cement his place as one of the real top dogs in the company. Granted, he did win the World Heavyweight Championship and nobody can take it away from him. But, just look at how the WWE butchered his reign. They basically made the guy look as if he didn't deserve the title or even deserve to be in the title picture. In every defense, someone interfered just as it seems Punk was about to lose. Everytime he and Batista would be in the ring, Batista just sort of shrugged him off as if he were patting some little boy on the head, as if he could just take him out at a moment's notice. Now whether Batista could or not is another subject.

In any case. Punk shows some promise and then, when he gains that momentum, he loses it. In my opinion, Savage was the best guy on the WWF roster in the mid to late 1980s. Held the IC title for more than a year, his first reign as WWE Champion lasted more than a year, he had high quality matches with high quality opponents. To me, Punk still has a lot to prove and he hasn't proven he can take one of the best of all time.

C.M Punk doesn't have any advantage in this contest, what-so-ever. Savage can match speed with him, but tops Punk with power. Punk might have the edge in agility, but once again that's questionable. Savage wrote the prologue on the "cruiserweight book" back in the day, when a flying elbow drop, and quick, sudden impact moves were considered flashy.

Just because Punk has more knowledge of competing in T.N.A, doesn't mean he knows how to work around the 6-sided ring. If memory serves, Punk was actually gone by the time they switched over.. whereas, Savage technically had a couple small encounters with the ring.

Savage has taken beatings from the likes of Andre the Giant, Big Show, Hulk Hogan, and other Heavyweight Superstars and come back to win or at least almost win. Punk's biggest problem is not being able to compete with true Heavyweights. Savage isn't what I'd call a "true Heavyweight" but he has the ability to definitely last longer than Punk could.

Savage shouldn't even have a minor issue defeating Punk, let alone a big problem. Savage wins.. easily.

I wouldnt even say he holds THAT advantage, Will. Punk holds zero advantage in this match, and at this point of his carreer, couldnt even shine Savage's boots. No fucking WAY he goes over here. The TNA ring just gives Savage more oppurtunity for those flying double axe handle drops. Savage, easily.

And there goes my favorite wrestler.

Punk stands no chance here. He might last ten minutes if he has the best match of his life, but there's no way he wins here. The GTS is a bad finishing move already and wouldn't knock Savage out and there's no way MAcho taps. Savage would wrestle circles around Punk and teach him how to take a beating. No way Savage loses here and it's onto the next round for him.

He is one of my favorite wrestler's too KB, but that is not why I am voting for him. Ok it might affect my vote a little, or a lot, whatever it doesnt matter he would still defeat CM Punk.

This might catch me some heat with the Die Hard CM Punk fans but I will go right out and say it, When you look at things, in all true and Honesty i dont feel that CM Punk even deserves to be in the same ring as Savage. Savage is truly one of the best workers that has stepped inside of a ring as the Macho Man and this should be a win for him here. CM has no advantages over him so that obviously is not a good think for him here.

Also add in the fact that Savage is way more experienced wrestling wise and is stronger than CM Punk. Also Randy can be a pretty good versatile wrestler so if CM Punk wants to work a fast paced match, then the Macho Man can do that...if CM Punk wants to work a high flyer style then Savage can do that too.

And like someone mentioned already, Savage has already had some encounters in the 6-sided ring, so that is yet another reason to vote for him, because he will not be confused here.

So to sum it all up Vote Savage, and make sure he keeps moving to the next rounds until he wins the TNA Region.

To compare the Macho Man to CM Punk is comparing a ripe, luscious orange to one that's not quite halfway grown yet. CM Punk will become a great wrestler someday, but right now, in what may be considered his 'prime', Savage makes Punk look like a jobber.

Savage is a man who has some seriously underrated wrestling skills. He's hot tempered, and can hurt you, but keep himself under control. He can also take a damn good beating. Those kicks and knees would ail Macho King, but Savage just twirls his fingers, points, and starts messing up Punk.

10 minute affair that sees Punk stretched out by THE Flying Elbow FTW! OOOOOHHH YEAH!!!!

Randy Savage is probably my faourite wrestler ever, certainly my favourite American one, and I'd really like him to do well in this contest, but I don't think I have to put much of an argument here. I'm not a Punk hater, and he has had one of the best year's possible in the last twelve months or so, but in reality, he has absolutely nothing on Savage whatsoever. Weaker, smaller, slower, less technically able, no attractive valets, less championships, less beard, less everything.

Savage is one of the few guys from the late 80s/early 90s that would be able to succeed in a six sided ring, after all he was one of the first to go to the top rope regularly. Savage wins this.

I think that Punk would have a good chance in this match. Savage's strongest..well...strength, was his aggressive style. Punk is very smart and would likely not be overly shaken by this aggression. It would also allow for some of Savage's patented mistakes, he would quite often open himself up for a counter strike with his offense. That said, Savage can take a major beating, and I think he could withstand pretty much anything Punk has to offer, aside from the Pepsi Plunge, which he doesn't use (and considering that he is now in his prime, I am not considering the Pepsi Plunge at all). The GTS might put Savage down, but I question it. The Anaconda Vice wouldn't keep Savage down. But the Savage flying elbow would definetely keep Punk down. Savage has too much intelligence and fury for Punk to withstand. Savage for the win in a great match.

I was trying to think of something that CM Punk has over Savage, but I gave up once KB even said that CM Punk is gone in under 10. Savage is too quick, and too strong, for Punk to do anything. He may land a few cool looking kicks, but Savage ends this with a flying elbow.

If we were allowed to throw in personal lives, I'd say that Punk holds a character advantage over Savage, but that still wouldn't help him win.

I actually would love to see this match. Punk and Savage are more similar the not, and the two of them would mesh incredibly well with one another. Punk reminds me a helluva lot of a young Randy Savage, and I think given time, and maybe a few years down the road, people will properly begin to appreciate Punk, and might hold him in the same light of a Randy Savage.

But that is potential, and the reality is, CM Punk is outmatched right here right now by Randy Savage. Savage is simply one of the best ever, and you can't say that about CM Punk currently.
