TNA Hardcore Justice: 100% ECW Free

I learned three things from that promo...

1) TNA obviously (or desperately) needs to kill time.
2) Looks like we're still milking that "ass hole" thing for all it's worth.
3) Ken Anderson is one of the most long-winded, drawn out, boring, pointless promo guys in history. He's like a mini-Flair. Without direction, I can't listen to him speak.

They also used green mist (except Messias, who used red), which has no secondary effect.

But who else besides you and like four other people on these forums know that? Everyone seems to forget that besides entertaining existing fans, they need to gain NEW ones, as well. None of them understand Mist 101 in pro-wrestling.

Well the commentators were kind enough to explain quite clearly that the mist was causing Mickie very visible pain in addition to blinding her.

What about Tajiri, Mysterio, Judas Messias or Kiyoshi? Were they OK?

Tajiri was. Mysterio to an extent. Mesias....eh maybe. he was a weird dude. I don't think anyone ever actually cared about Kiyoshi either way. It's an Asian thing for the most part so the British aspect of Winter hurts it for her.

Yeah, but no amount of commentating could convince me that after being in a 10 minute match involving being punched in the face, slammed into the mat, thrown into the steel barracade, suplexed, piledriven, etc. that a spray of mist to the face would be the thing to put me down for a three count. Sorry, man... no way.

Glad to see that Fourtune decided to coordinate the colors they were going to wear as part of this tag team match...

Well then surely you'd find it even less convincing coming from someone like Muta.

I'm ok with the mist thing, although granted I haven't seen it. It's one of those things you don't need to explain in wrestling that just kind of exists and works in the wrestling world.

Both of these explain it all. I guess, for me, it just didn't work when used by women.

I don't know... when you've got someone with a character like Muta, it makes sense to me. But with Winter's, er, weirdness it just didn't mesh in my mind.

This has been a very soft PPV. I blame it on no intensity going in to pretty much all the matched. Angle/Sting was the only contest I cared about going into the show, which is really unusual for TNA.

the fuck difference does it make if a girl or a guy spits poison in your face :lmao:

I didnt belive they died from that gun shot because a girl did it, beliveable if it was a guy character doing the same spot

This did come off like a throwaway show on paper. I mean, the Knockout Tag Titles and D-Von vs. Pope? Also Ray vs. Anderson?

One thing I never got about the mist:

If it's deadly to the touch, how do they keep it in their throats/mouths without it hurting them?

The same way dragons breath fire.
Or alternately, they keep it in a balloon.
It depends on how magical they are.

That match would probably have been great if I'd cared more about it.

deadly to the touch? Since when? I though it was poison/ eye burning. A lot the same way as if you kept tobasco sauve in your mouth and spit it all in someones face. that would fuck your shit up.
