When there are THREE characteristics defined by your precious dictionary (which is also incredibly lacking, with regards to hormones, chromosomes, emotional balance, etc.), then you definitely can't say that ONE characteristic is the defining one. Especially when there are millions of women that can't produce offspring.

Like hell it does. Seriously, how fucking dumb can you be? Physical appearance does NOT determine gender. Your DNA, your psychological and biological states, etc. are what determines your gender.

For example, female chromosomes are XX, and male are XY. If you put a penis on a woman, their chromosomes don't magically turn XY. Their hormones don't change, their perceptions of the world don't change.

Physical appearance does not determine gender. Do yourself a favor and leap into the 20th century. And yes, I mean the 20th century, not the 21st. That's how outdated your beliefs are.
