Reaper of Miracles
Welcome everyone to the Wrestlezone Tournament: Women's Edition. Over the next 3 weeks we will be debating over which female athlete is good enough to be crowned the "greatest of all time." This tournament will work the exact same way as the Men's tournament, but instead of 128 names we have 64.
There are 5 Regions...
Canada - hosted by Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Japan - hosted by Tokyo, Japan
Mexico - hosted by Mexico City
Europe - hosted by London, England
United States - championship region - hosted by New York City
Each seed will be reversed snaked into each of the 4 regions. The seeds were decided based on a grading system from the lists I collected from our resident experts about a month ago. If you submitted a list, thank you for your support and expect some rep compensation soon.
There are 8 subregions...
Montreal, Quebec
Vancouver, British Colombia
Yokohama, Kanagawa
Osaka City, Osaka
Monterrey City, Nuevo Leon
Guadalajara, Jalisco
Berlin, Germany
Paris, France
The subregional cities will host the first 3 rounds and the host cities will hold the regional finals. Round 3 will feature the gimmick rounds. By my count there will be 8 different matches.
The semifinals and finals will be hosted by New York City, and will be contested under "King of the Ring" rules.
At 5:00 pm central time I will start unveiling the seeds. If someone wants to keep track of the matches while I do them that would be great and you will receive compensation.
Until then feel free to speculate on who gets in, who doesn't, potential match ups, smack talk about your favorites etc etc. The tournament itself should be starting sometime tomorrow so expect the rules and guidelines and campaign threads up shortly.
Also feel free to ask any general questions, but there will also be a thread for those provided later.
Cheers...
