The WBL/Rusty/Whoever the fuck is involved in that shittery FREE thread

Maine would beg to differ with that assessment. And obviously, I don't hunt in the city. I only shoot arrows, and everyone else here has guns.

I know you wouldn't do that. I've only been to the city a few times. The traffic is unbelievable. I've gotten stuck at one light five times! Five freaking times, it was crazy.

I lived in Attleboro for a long time. Saw two deer driving to work. Never realized how big they are.

Ski season starts soon! Probably the only reason I still bother with winter in New England.

I'd snowboard, but when I was learning to ski as a kid snowboards were still banned from most mountains in the area. (Seriously, kids- not as long ago as you might think.) I've thought about learning to snowboard, but then I'd rather just tear ass down the mountain and through the woods on skis, rather than wobble the whole way down on the green slopes on a snowboard for a season.

Shifting gears...

Any skaters, snowboarders, skateboarders....

I sandboarded a bit once. There's this fucking massive heap of sand in the Namib called "Dune 7". First time I got the board stuck in a divot and rolled all the way down. Got better after that. Lots of fun, if you don't mind scrubbing sand out of your everywhere.

I follow professional skateboarding pretty intently. Well, you know, the 8 or so televised events a year.

I skate lightly, I can do all of the basic tricks but I don't pursue it anymore than that. For one, I've plateaued. I'm not going to improve any until I start going to the local skatepark or take to the streets, which I'm not going to do. The park is crawling with scene kids who essentially eat, sleep and smoke spice all day there. Cops frequent the park.

But I do love the sport of skateboarding. Been watching since the days of Hawk.

Beastiality and heroin, I guess. I figure that I'll be dead in forty years, tops, so I might as well keep busy.

I dunno, you hunt so Bestiality may pop up if you're stranded with your kill one day which surprisingly looks like Jessica Biel.

Sounds pretty cool. Would love to do it.

Swell Smiz, but what the fuck is spice?

Spice is synthetic marijuana. Don't touch the stuff. It's horrible for you in all the ways the genuine article isn't.

Yeoza! Ye well we get some of the best dope here man. I mean Himalayan fucking good shit.

Also, don't be adverse to sharing pics. This thread has taken a turn for the wonderful.

I...well...did one like run into you when you were writing about the bloody history of the Alps at the Alps?

Also I would flip my shit if you said you skated. Coz I can't imagine you on wheels unless its on a stretcher being taken to the ICU for chronic carper tunnel .

This is how I've always perceived Dirt Bike racing and motocross in general.

Just about everyone I can recall that participated in the sport in high school had at one point suffered either a broken back, leg, or some other horrific injury. I can't delve into something that is so inevitably dangerous.

A lot more than one has taken me out or boarded over the top of my skies. Basically, they are the white van/BMW drivers of the ski slopes. They think they own the slopes and fly down them barely in control no matter who is ahead of them.

I'm stereotyping of course, but that is largely from my own experience with boarders, although one of those occasions one crashed into me did have a rather hilarious outcome. He managed to hit me at such an angle that both of my skies came off but I did not fall down...

Suffice it to say that I have never set foot on a skateboard. I have tried snowboarding though.

Funny story, I was at a small-sized mountain during a night session a few years ago. At the summit there are two trails from the top that meet in an X, and on one of them, there's a small jump that forms over a rock outcropping- nothing serious unless you hit it crazy fast, and because it's nothing serious, just about everyone goes to hit it. I was riding up to the jump behind two boarders, a guy and a girl, and as the guy lines up on the platform he stiff-arms the girl and she tumbles into the brush.

Well, a couple rides later, I'm taking the opposite branch, and I see Ser Douchington hanging out in the intersection, waiting for one of his buddies. I lined up and he never saw me coming- I checked him so hard I knocked his boots from his board. Didn't see him the rest of the night.

Most snowboarders are good people, like people in general, but the sport certainly draws out the douchebags as well.

I tried to take up skateboarding a few times but none of my friends wanted to go do it on a regular basis and that was back when I actually liked hanging out with people on a regular basis.

Any semblance of a trick I did was by accident.

Since it was mentioned here I took spice up for a short while. It was before all the horror stories came out so I had no idea it was supposed to be so bad. I never experienced any of the stuff that you see in the news these days.

I can honestly say I have never heard of spice before right now. I mean I have heard about chemically laced marijuana in Europe and shit but nothing as full on synthetic.

The thing that was nice about it is you could buy it legally here. I'd go to my local record store and get some. The only thing I could probably have gotten hassled over would have been my hitter if a cop really wanted to be a dick about stuff.

It would get banned from time to time so all the companies did to avoid that was change the formula and repackage it.

I smoked King Crypto myself. I think K2 is the well known brand though.
