The truth about John Cena....

Nova is alright, his indie stuff was just nice. His current gimmick is a joke though, and pretty much has killed his career. Sucks for him I guess. And I dont really think Orton will be the one being handed the torch, he's been in the backburner for quite awhile now, even with the Hogan feud, he is being used as a jobber for main eventers and that's just awesome cuz I dont like him. >.>

& basically Maria's fan base is male.. hmm no one seems to complain about her for 354651 hours

notice that maria doesn't pretend like she can wrestle as much as cena does, jackass.

I love Randy.. i think hes got the looks, charisma, and skill to get him to the top ..again!.. you'll see, he'll be like Triple H in 5 years :D no doubt.

Uhmm yeahh dont you know that the writers tell him what to do and everything, jackass. Havent you noticed that wrestling is all about the acting lately? Yeah and only Maria dances around the ring and stares at paint, but hey, thats what they tell her to do.

okay, you're saying this about maria who does the interviewing on raw... dude if you're to compare any one of the divas to cena then choose candice, i mean she really sucks at wrestling and yet she tries to prove that she can wrestle.

Orton doesnt really have charisma, it was quite sad to watch him do that 'Hogan knows best' spoof segment he did at Raw a few weeks before Summerslam cuz it was just one of those segments that you know someone with charisma could've nailed but Orton botched it from beginning to end. And about his wrestling skills, he is alright, but unlike people like Triple H, Austin and Rock he has never showed a shade of pulling out a wow match, he is average, at best. Carlito > him.

dont you agree that he needs to head back over to SD turn heel n fued with chris benio or someone............

Personally I have to disagree. If you read the annual report that WWE releases it states that WWE Smackdown! is intended for a more traditional fan and it states that WWE RAW is used for entertainment. That is there reasoning behind the brand extension. I think they are coming to realise that there in a different market than 2002. The is no longer Rocks, Austins, Lesnars, Jerichos amongst others to satisfy a very changing market. They now can't have the pure wrestling. They had for example: The Rock. The Rock could wrestle but he was no Kurt Angle but you had the entertainment factor (Singing 12 days of Christmas to Test was very amusing!) They realise the market for Smackdown! is fading. There has been weeks where ECW have beaten its ratings and its only an hour long show. Some would say, if not a vast majority. Well if this is the case we need a guy to draw ratings. Which makes sense, so why not John Cena!?!? Great idea! However, is John Cena's gimmick style in the current WWE style for Smackdown! Personally my answer has to be no! For talking sakes, you want to give a few guys over to Smackdown! from RAW. I recon in my personal opinion that to satisfy both entertainment/ratings and most importantly to Smackdown!...wrestling needs, you would be looking at guys such as "The Game" Triple H, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "The Rated R superstar" Edge. The only guy I think John Cena could fued with in his current gimmick would be "The Animal" Batsista. Personally Batista another guy who carries alot of charisma but aint the greatest wrestler, this could enable Cena to evolve his gimmick style a little and make the matches worth tuning into see.

My opinion about Benoit, great wrestler and I don't think a fued with cena would be beneficial to him. A good welcome back would probably be against Finlay. Similar physiques and could pull a great Fave vs. Heel!

well i mean don't really go down on him so hard. really i have to say that he had some carisma in that ring last monday. but i mean, give him time to bloom. not everyone who comes to wwe for the first time is an automatic superstar. though carlito being better than orton.... i don't know, i think i'd have to disagree with you on that. carlito doesn't really have anything too original to me, just that apple thing going on. i have to say that orton is more original than carlito

i've been saying this forever, but i'll say it again. cena could've done a heel change after wrestlemania where they booed him and that could've been a good decision. i mean look at the rock, when the fans booed him he just said screw you and went heel. that was where he became a fan favorite was when he was a heel.

Personally the reason I think Orton will perhaps be the one to be handed the tourch is because he is a 3rd generation superstar, works well as a heel (which a lot of wrestlers find difficult) and also he has ability. How much I really don't know but he has enough to carry him as a respectable wrestler. Orton has been on the back burner I think everyone will agree there. Letting him face off against a very unfir Hogan. Really didn't go Randy or Hulk any favours. This up coming fued against Carlito is a good test. Its alwasy nice to see guys like this square off. Randy has been to the top and is now at the bottom(not quite on Heat but on championship terms) but every now and then wrestlers get a good push and if they react to it well then they can rise to the top. Such examples are John Cena and JBL!

How is Orton more original than Carlito? O_o

orton is more original because he's doing stuff that most people aren't doing. taking the legends and putting them down. what does carlito do? spit apple bits and say who's cool and who's not cool.

black n gold and all u crappy cena fans are starting to annoy me all u do is insult people im suprised ur not banned yet

Hahaha.. i dont know, i like them both. I like Ortons whole 'i dont give a fuck about anyone or anything, ill do what i want, when i want, how i want'. I love it! You dont see anyone else doing that [Except DX, but they're face anyway] If someone gets in his way, he destroys them. (: If Trish didnt slap him she probably wouldnt have gotton RKO'ed.. haha Nah she probably would have anywayed.

But then again Carlito has his own little thing going on. I love his hair (: Haha.. thats all i really got to say.

The sad thing about Orton's gimmick is that he gets crushed by the Undertaker, he gets beaten by Hogan, but you just know the next show he will come out to the ring still saying he is the Legend Killer. That gimmick has run its course and its stale already, how can it be original when several Legends have already killed the little Legend Killer?

And about Carlito, his apple gimmick was heavily displayed like, last year. He has evolved into something bigger than that, the fans are slowly getting more and more into him and his wrestling skills are top notch. He is turning into this Old School Face that with could've benefited a lot more by continuing his feud with Nitro. Sucks he is stuck with Orton now =(

orton lost to the undertaker in wrestlemania because orton hasn't proved that he deserves that right to end the winning streak of the deadman (the only person who deserves that in my opinion is kane). and orton lost to hogan because hogan is a selfish son of a bitch who won't give up his dead career. carlito has decent mic skills, enough to get by. i have to say that orton's mic skills are a bit above normal. i can see improvement but not as much as carlito. and that's all i have to say about that in a cena thread.

one thing i give to cena, is that compared to most of the talent now, other than HHH, shawn michaels,mr. kennedy and...cant think of anyone else right now, cena has the best charisma. i think thas wat really pushed him. i mean...honestly i liked him in smackdown, his move the throwback was pretty unique, and he had some others in there that were pretty nice. right now, he is the number one star in wwe. he is gettin most of the exposure for the wwe, and well the wwe is doin a great job of milkin him for every cent he is worth. and when he is over and done, ur lookin at another screwjob and well TNA's new champ. and i can see that.

I think that Cena had charisma on SD, as sort of the underdog heel. Now a days, I hate his promos because he says the same exact thing ("I WANT THE TITLE, CHAMP, and tasteless jokes). At least on SD he used to have those funny rap battles.

Flames Out
Dragon

He had a good rap thing before New Years Revolution, where he compared Carlito's hair to the pubes of a 70's porn star. I think that was the last time I heard him freestyle.

Some of you guys are pathetic. You seem to think people are challenging everything you stand for just because someone doesn't like the certain wrestler that you do. If you don't like what they're saying, come up with some stable arguments and present them in a proper manner other than constantly swearing at people.

Now, I like Orton (sorry I'm going off-topic), I've seen him put on some great matches, couldn't care less if he's an ass back-stage and I still like the Legend Killer gimmick, probably because I'm a Randy Orton fan, I've seen matches where he has managed to keep up with great wrestlers and he is definitely not handed matches, his special move is great. I think he will be a big player in the future of WWE but to say he isn't a big player now is ignorance.

Back to Cena, I used to be a big fan....until I started paying attention to his matches. It's true, he doesn't differentiate his moves that much and he ends up doing a lot of punches and clotheslines and shoulder blocks in his matches. I also feel as if his gimmick isn't very defined and his character is stale. To me, he fails as both a sports entertainer and a wrestler.
