The SUPER OFFICIAL (Official) Shocky Thread (OFFICIAL!)

Did You Know: I finally learned to use the Multi Quote button!!!1!!!1

Shocky was my favorite poster when I lurked. I started to lurk when he was Shock Lesnar.

Oh the Good old days, probably not as Great as General George Shockyngton

I remember when he was Uncle Shocky. Not sure if that wasn't evne that long ago though.

I've done Several incarnations of Uncle Shocky, which was ripped off by everyone on the forum.

Shocky is the undisputed Godfather of the Wrestlezone Forums.

Evolution 4 Life brother.

RIP Prax. I still remember pissing Jonny off with the Free X campaign. Remember, you are a homophobic bastard.

Shock, can you remember when Paul Bearer came to the forums? That was a fun day.

Hell yeah, best Wrestlezone Exclusive Evah. The hilarity of that thread is priceless, need to find it.

Still though, Jonny Pretending to be Scott Hudson was awesome, especially since Chris Cash was in negotiations to have Scott Hudson on the forum, priceless.

Loved Batista's promo this week on RAW. I know you did too. He is So awesome at being a douche

It's like Bret Hart. Dude puts on sunglasses, and all of a sudden the ability to cut a promo magically spews from his lips. It's a shame he's going to get his ass whooped Sunday.

He repped me as Paul Bearer for being respectful in the complaint thread. Called me a good boy.

I've never forgotten.

I rep noobs, for encouragement's sake.

As a legendary, world-class Batista hater, I have to agree. That was one of the best promos I've seen in months, Batista has been a fucking great champion over the past month. He' SO MUCH better as a heel, as a face he's just so bland and vanilla.

Heel Batista is amazing, Face Batista is the lameness.

Somehow, they managed to make his heel entrance almost as cool as his face entrance

It's simplification. Everyone else has the over the top, pyro filled crap. Batista is so simple. One man, one spotlight, One heelish bastard douchebag. It's what made Austin awesome in the attitude Era. He was the only one with no pyro, and no crazy light show.

Batista needs to stick with being a pretty boy heel. Keep the expensive designer clothes, Kanye West-like persona, and overall pricky-ness. He's much better at being a douche than being an unstoppable beast.

They always say the best gimmicks are the ones based on your real life.

LULZ, you're banned.

His entrance is like Koslovs used to be.

THough I lost respect for his face entrance when his music hit for a beat down (I think on Khali) and he stopped to pose for the pyro

Let's hope he doesn't go the way of Koslov.

I think the furthest back I can remember is when Shocky was Shock Lesnar. I don't mind telling you that he frightened me... Still does!

I'm an intimidating human being...:suspic:

It was time for this.

It's Vada Time!

Hey Shocky. So, I think I created a Unofficial, official thread once. Maybe not. I forget. It probably failed though.

Whats up?

Same old shit, about to go to the bus stop and pick up the brats, er Children.

So what are you going to do when the new WZ Tournament creators leave Edge out?

They're our future! You know, the one that ends in roughly 2 years.

Back Brock Lesnar.. .. or someone else that is NOT named Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan or the Undertaker.

I plan on being equally aggressive for more than just Edge.

Myself and Tenta are backing Harley Race. My dad is 62 years old, and has told me for the better part of my life that Harley Race is the best wrestler ever. Time to make the old man proud.

I'm considering backing the Ultimate Warrior. :lmao: For the shear purpose that I wanna use bottom bargain arguments such as "He has immortal strength and more power than anyone." And "He beat Hulk Hogan in his prime." LOL

That's me, Mr. Homophobe. I am a bitter fascist bible-thumping neo-con ya know.

I don't know why I act surprised, but my god the amount of fat people at Golden Corral is staggering.

Meh, never understood the love Mr. Oklahoma has received throughout his career. Solid midcarder, certainly, but about as much of a main event threat as I was.

Waits for someone to mention a streak or something.

LOL.

Dr. Death Steve Williams was a definite main event in Japan. The US? Mid-carder at best. It takes personality to get over in the states, and Dr. Death just wasn't a personable guy. He just wanted to throw people around. But is a threat to make a splash in the tourney. Unless he draws Hansen. Then he's done.

Dr. Death was a legend and one of the absolute most fierce and physical wrestlers I've ever seen in my life. His matches with Kobashi and Kawada were fucking legendary. When he was in the ring, he really looked like he was beating the everloving fuck out of his opponent.

And Dr. Death a midcarder? In the US, sure. Not in Japan, he's a former Triple Crown champion, he was one of the most dominant gaijins in Japanese history.

Speaking of dominant gaijins, Lariat we need to find a way to get Terry Gordy in this bitch, somehow I don't think he's in yet.

I nominated him. Trust me, he was not overlooked.

I'm aware of his success in Japan, he's just someone I never understood the appeal of. Granted I'm more familiar with his NWA work in the 80's then his Japanese stuff.

Yea, his NWA work was underrated, but at the same time, he was mid-card level there. Too many big personalities there for him to shine. In Japan, brutal, American wrestlers are usually over simply because that style is welcomed in Japan. I think he's a darkhorse for sure.

Well I know I did this last year, and I think before Wrestlemania 24 (try looking up ramblings of a 60 year old man if you're interested). Today was my annual sit down and chat with my dad day and get his thoughts on the business.

Really not too much this time around, as he doesn't watch nearly as much as he used to.

On Wrestlemania 26: He only cares about one match, Taker vs. HBK. According to him, he saw Shawn Michaels in an interview this week, that showed clips of him when he was younger. He says it's time for HBK to hang up so he doesn't become like Flair or Hogan (More on this later). Then he said something about Taker needs to retire next year at Mania. Also went on about the Midnight Rockers and how he thought they were pretty damn good (I despise the Rockers by the way).

Triple H vs. Sheamus??? His words, "Triple H isn't in a title match, him and Stephanie must be fighting." Did I mention I love this man?

Now to let you know about my dad, Dude is a hardcore old school NWA fan. He loved WCW before the wars started, and cringes at my love for Hogan (which he's happy I don't like him now). Anyways, him and his coworkers watched WCW during the wars and some of them told him to watch TNA when it came on. Pretty much everyone wasn't watching until Hogan and Flair got involved, and they watched it on March 8th.

So long story short, my dads opinion on TNA.

Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan are sad. (I really love this man). They are a joke to themselves and the business bleeding and wooing all over each other. Kurt Angle looks different, probably because he's not juicing anymore. "TNA is just a bunch of old guys, they look like me out there. Hell Kevin Nash's hair is as gray as mine. Well at least he doesn't try to hide it."

He's a pretty cool cat. I went to pull out of his drive way today, and he comes running out of the garage with a quart of oil saying that some fluid sounds low in my car. How the fuck he does that I have no idea.

Dads....baaaaaawwwwwww. :(

There are sad days in life, and then their are fucking tragedies

It's just been announced that on May 24 the Fox Network will stop the clock on 24 from ticking any more, and not *even Jack Bauer can prevent this tragedy

Fuck you Fox.

About damn time honestly Shocky, I was a huge fan of the series as well but it's just fucking DREADFUL now. I stuck through all of last season (which was the worst season yet IMO), made it about halfway through this new season before just giving up. The show is officially a joke, it's almost like a parody of it's former self, they just keep using the same plot lines and devices over and over and over. Once TNA moved to Monday nights, I officially canceled my DVR subscription to the show.

It was time man. It was time.

I've not seen any of season eight, however I'm sure they said after six it would be two more seasons plus redemption.

I know, I kind of wish they ended it after Season 5, but I guess you couldn't. I thought they over did a lot of season 6, but it was a natural stopping point.

Day 8 has been ok, I like the story, but it's lacking something. Fucking Dana Walsh is atrocious.
