The SUPER OFFICIAL (Official) Shocky Thread (OFFICIAL!)

LOL, no. I can't stand that guy.

On a sidenote, Dick Vitale just ripped Cincinnati on ESPN for letting Huggins go. Every once in a while, Dukey V says something right.

I dig Huggy bear. Damn fine coach and flat out coached circles around Calipari tonight. When an inferior team talent wise makes the more talented team look stupid, it's a coaching issue. And if Tennessee makes it to the Final Four and UK doesn't... Cal may want to request permission to talk to the Nets. :lmao:

Kentucky had all the talent in the world, but they were so young. Talent wise they win the tournament, but inexperience will get you beat. Bob Huggins is now 8-1 in his career against Coach Cal. Huggins plays that nasty blue collar type of basketball that is hard to watch, but is effective. Hell, 670 career wins is getting it done.

Yea... one good season away from 700 wins. That's some winnage right there.

Pet Peeve of the day: Young mother with bratty kid running around. Mother grabs child by the arm after five minutes and says, "I asked you not to run around the store.".

Um Mom, you're the mom. It's not asking, it's telling. Grow a fucking back bone a discipline your damn child. It's not a democracy, it's a dictatorship.

Since this is the official Shocky Thread, I invite all to join me in the celebration of the release of the fat talentless bastards, The Nasty Boys.

Perhaps you can put down the Hogan/Flair/Bischoff haterade for a moment now that they've cut some useless fat from TNA?

Oh. Good then.

Glad they're gone. I didn't mind seeing them on 1/4 because I thought it was just a joke on the smarks, but once they started to actually wrestle I was pissed. Glad to see they're gone though. I really think Hogan and Bischoff are smarter than people are giving them credit for, last week's PPV ending notwithstanding.

I'll be watching RAW live tonight though. I love TNA and all that jazz, but I gotta see what happens with HBK. I'm recording TNA.

No doubt, Tonights raw gets the full treatment tonight. Hopefully they put this send off on the Blu-Ray of Mania, seeing as they just fucking released an HBK DVD a month ago.

Oh an X, I do love TNA, even though I bash the shit out of Hogan and Flair.

Shockster. I've had a great time going through and seeing you and I put posters in their place of WM 26. It's fun alright to tell everyone crying about "Hart and McMahon sux" that they're ******ed for wanting more violence out of a 50 year old stroke victim and the 63 year old head of the company.

You must be kidding if you think that match was anything other than mediocre. That match was overbooked, underworked, and nobody in the crowd gave a fuck. Such a disappointment of a match.

How was Bret Hart beating on Vince McMahon for ten minutes not what people expected? He's not going to take a bump at all. The match went about one or two minutes too long, other then that, it's par for the course.

It was exactly what people were expecting, but that doesn't mean it was good. For one thing, involving the Hart family as lumberjacks was mind-bogglingly stupid, are we really supposed to believe that Vince is dumb enough to hire the entire Hart family to be lumberjacks for his match, and expect everything to go a-okay? Add to that the actual beatdown portion of the match was painfully tedious and boring, working on McMahon with a small tire iron was stupid and looked like shit. Add to that the fact that the entire crowd saw the match as a piss-break and could not have cared less about the match, it just was a failure. Shit even Bill Simmons agrees on that one.

Bret got his beatdown, but the match itself was shit, as we expected it to be. Just a sloppily executed angle with some foolish decisions made.

Meh, Vince's ego is always his downfall, and it happened again. He thought his money could by loyalty. When the Hart Dynasty came out first, the answer to, where are the Hart Dynasty kids was answered. They came across very heelish.

The match put to bed the Screwjob once and for all, got Bret his redemption, Vince got his ass whooped, and the Hart Dynasty made the switch to a relevant Face tag team. Everything that was needed to get accomplished got accomplished.

This could have been achieved in less time and far less painfully with Vince hiring someone more believable as his muscle, ShowMiz and McIntyre perhaps, and then the Hart Dynasty coming to Bret's aid.

As it was, it was painful to watch

Except for an entertaining match.

Sure, but it did it's job. What else could they have done? Hart wasn't wrestling, and McMahon was the only one left to take bumps. The match ran a few minutes long, sure, but the people saying it was anything less than what it should have been aren't thinking rationally about what Hart could have reasonably delivered.

It really didn't do it's job though Razor, because if it had, the crowd would have been invested in the match. Instead it was an extended piss break and the crowd was as dead as they were during the divas match.

Clearly they didn't do the job well enough if the crowd didn't give a fuck.

Agreeing with X here. I wasn't expecting much at all, but holy fuck it was hard to watch. I love Bret Hart, I really do, but the man may be the worst mic worker ever. He wasn't convincing in his ''screwjob'' on Vince if you didn't see it coming a mile away in the first place. I was already over the angle weeks before Mania, the whole feud fell flat to me.

I watched it a bar, and the crowd was eating it up the entire time, so maybe my view is slightly skewed. I was there with a guy that never watches, but loved the Bret Hart Double cross lined. It worked for some, others not. I think the match came out as expected.
