The stable that would have not formed...

Ace Sleeper

That's some grade 'A' protein!
First thread guys, glad to be able to share my ideas.

Now the general idea is, which one of these stables would have changed wrestling the most if not formed. Pretty much asking which of these stables would have made the greatest impact of..not being formed.

A lot of obvious choices listed below, but if you have another you would like to add please do so and tell why.

-Four Horsemen
-New World Order (nWo all together, doesn't matter which version)
-The Hart Foundation
-The Alliance
-Degeneration-X
-The Dudley Boyz
-Team Xtreme
-Legion of Doom/Road Warriors
-APA
-Evolution
-The Clique
-The Ministry of Darkness

Some of them aren't so obvious and I know I'm missing a lot. But I'm going off the top of my head with this, and you're free to name another if you can think of one that belongs.

Mine's very close, and I can't really decide. I would love to hear what you guys think. Which one of these stables, if not formed, would have changed wrestling in the most drastic way?

Congrats on the first post.

It's a hard choice though. But out of your choices, I have to say Four Horsemen. They have been a very influential for other stables. Evolution was even based on the Horsemen. Whenever people are talking about today's stables and how they are formed, they basically say they want the Horseman's blueprint: leader, tag team, up-and-comer, and a body guard.

I would have to say the first nwo. I do not think the monday night wars would have not gone the way they did if they formed. WCW would not have beat raw for 83 straight weeks if it were not for the nwo.

The obvious answer to this one is the NWO. The interest in wrestling was stagnating in the mid 90's and it would be fair to say that neither the WWF nor WCW was a great product. But the Monday Night Wars changed all that and the formation of the NWO was the turning point in the Wars. That is also what caused WWF to work harder to make their product more better than that of WCW and it is why WWF is functioning even today. Without the NWO the wrestling industry would have gone under a long time ago.

I'd have to say nWo or the horseman... I only got into the wrestling recently, but I still know the influence of the two stables... Plus I'm a big DX fan and if it wasn't for the horseman they wouldn't exist... So yeah...

I think it is fairly obvious, in my opinion, that the NWO and Four Horsemen were the most influential stables.

However, what an interesting experiment it would have been if the Ministry of Darkness had not been created. The Undertaker would have carried on his gimmick sure, but I believe that he would have fallen out of favour eventually as becoming bland and repetitive. I am implying the Ministry of Darkness saved the Undertaker's career to a point and made him really relevant, showing how much WWF/E needed him.
