I'm not.Anybody else laughing at this Colts - Saints game? 62 - 7....![]()
I hope the Jags look better tomorrow night than the Colts did tonight. My prediction for the Monday night game is:
Ravens 23
Jaguars 6
I was playing one on NFL.com started by Will, haven't paid attention to it in about a week.I'm not.
My fantasy opponent had 5 of his starting players on a bye. I had no starters on a bye. My opponent had Brees and Colston, and 4 of my players combined for 11 points. I lost by 2.
So far Gabbert has played the three best defenses in the NFL. I love that he is playing against such hard opponents early in his career. He's looked pretty good all things considered.
I don't know if I'd call a completion % of 49 pretty good but I've seen worse play out of young qb's.
His receivers also consistently drop the ball, quit running routes and just suck in general. I have never seen a group of receivers as bad as the Jags receivers have been so far this season. He has thrown a touchdown in each of the last four games I believe, so that is something for him to build on.
Mike Sims-Walker wasn't that bad before last year though, right? I mean, the guy was solid. The Jags haven't had good receivers since Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell were together.

Atlanta players Todd McClure and Roddy White accused Detroit's Ndamukong Suh and Cliff Avril of taunting quarterback Matt Ryan as he lay injured Sunday during the Falcons' 23-16 victory.
Ryan fell awkwardly after he tripped over his teammate, offensive tackle Will Svitek, with 10:13 left in the third quarter. The QB immediately grabbed his left knee as he lay on the ground, apparently in pain.
As he was down, Suh and Avril allegedly trash-talked the quarterback and kicked at his feet, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
"I had respect for Suh before the game," said McClure, the Falcons' center. "But when Matt was on the ground, the things he was saying and the trash he was talking was definitely uncalled for. There are certain things you don't do. (He said), 'Get the cart,' and several other things that I can't repeat."
White, a wide receiver, said, "I lost a whole lot of respect for 90 (Suh) today and also 92 (Avril)."
Referring to their "unacceptable" actions after Ryan was hurt, White added, "Like 92 was kicking (Ryan's) feet, saying, 'Get him off the field.'
"We don't do stuff like that. We don't rally over guys when they get hurt. It was just inappropriate behavior. I mean, 'Get the cart'? Are you serious? Come on. When you compete, you never want to see a guy get hurt."
Suh and Avril were yet to respond to the accusations.
Ryan missed only two plays because of the injury, prompting Falcons coach Mike Smith to comment, "It just shows you the resolve and resiliency of this guy."
The article clearly states "get the cart" was the only one that was repeatable, there were many others not repeatable. And the idea of kicking at the guy is even worse.First of all none of that shit the Falcons are saying has been proven and the Lions players involved have said that the Falcons had been playing dirty all game and are known for dirty play. The Falcons play dirty so Suh makes a remark when their qb is down. Not a big deal. I'm sorry but saying "Get the cart" probably doesn't even make the top 10 of horrible things that are said on the field during any game. Last time I checked words don't hurt football players.
That has nothing to do with it. The man is injured, and the opponents are celebrating the injury and mocking the man. And pretending to kick him is pathetic. The injury didn't even occur because Suh, or any Lion for that matter, hit Ryan. It occurred because Ryan's own O lineman stepped on his ankle.

It doesn't matter, acting happy a person is injured is bullshit, and it's a sign of how shit Jim Schwartz keeps his team in check (which we all know, since he himself just picked a fight with a coach).

Stafford getting hurt was simply karma. And not at all surprising, since it's an annual occurrence.
And this is hardly the first time Suh has been talked about for his antics. In fact, it's almost weekly.
They can flex out of Sunday Night, but Monday Nights are locked. They won't change the day of the game, just the time.I believe in the 2nd half of the season they can start altering the MNF and SNF games, so if the Jags aren't competing for a playoff spot come December, I'm sure that game will get scraped for something else.
That'll end up being a case of 2 non-playoff bound teams playing. And yes, I think the Chargers losing to the Jets will be the beginning of their downfall.
Was I the only one who found their 2 minute offense pathetic? Even worse was Rivers 4th down play, where he just bombed the ball 20 yards out of bounds. Dumbass didn't even let his guys try and make a play. Just conceded the game.
Wait.... I turned on the MNF game for 30 seconds, and in that 30 seconds, they say that MNF will be BACK IN JACKSONVILLE?!?! IN DECEMBER?!?!?! AND AGAINST THE CHARGERS?!?!?!?!?!?!
Why the hell would they do that? This game had 0 buzz because the Jags suck. Now they will go and play the Chargers in December in Jacksonville, and by that time maybe the Chargers will be out of it too. Jesus, ESPN got fucked over by the scheduling.
