Last Sunday at WWE Bragging Rights:
Burying The Deadman
In the days leading up to WWE Bragging Rights, World Heavyweight Champion Kanes father Paul Bearer vowed that The Undertaker would be drowned in a hell of dirt and darkness in the Buried Alive Match. Tonight, the morbid managers ominous words came true as The Devils Favorite Demon defeated his brother in a brutal, emotional contest by sadistically entombing The Deadman with help from The Nexus under tons of black soil in a six-foot deep abyss. It is fitting that the rivalry between Kane and The Undertaker would come to an end at a grave. As two brothers who were raised in a funeral home, the morbid Superstars have spent their entire lives locked in a complicated, love-hate relationship that constantly tempted the fates. But the animosity between the two big Superstars was never as heated as it has been in the past few months. Since being brutally attacked by Kane in May, Undertaker has attempted to gain retribution against his brother, but The Big Red Monster managed to stop the weakened Phenom on each occasion. At Hell in a Cell, Undertaker was even betrayed by Paul Bearer and lost to Kane for the second time in a row. WWE Bragging Rights was The Demon from Death Valleys third and final chance to defeat his twisted brother and win the World Heavyweight Championship, and it looked as though he was well on his way to doing it. Brutalizing Kane with everything that wasnt nailed down, Undertaker was close to burying the vicious Superstar alive, but the four feral members of The Nexus suddenly attacked The Deadman and began to brutalize him. Exhausted and overwhelmed by the horde, the legendary Superstar was finally knocked into the dark, suffocating pit by no less than five adversaries. There was little The Deadman could do as he lay helpless and vulnerable at the bottom of the grave, but watch as Kane flashed a cruel smile as tons of dirt poured from a bulldozer into the burial ground. With The Phenom interred deep below the ground, the Target Center went dark and a sharp bolt of lightning cut across the arena. It was a sure sign that The Deadmans presence was still with the WWE Universe, but who knows when he will rise again.
Team Blue Brags Again
After an emotion-charged 7-on-7 Tag Team Elimination Match, Team SmackDown defeated Team Raw to take home the WWE Bragging Rights trophy for the second year in a row. As the match continued, and the list of remaining competitors dwindled down, the final four Superstars were Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Ezekiel Jackson and Team Raw captain The Miz. Despite Team Raws confidence and drive, it was a Spear from The Rated-R Superstar to The Miz which earned Team SmackDown the win. Although SmackDown was victorious, there was not total cohesion on team blue. While battling CM Punk outside the ring, Alberto Del Rio slammed Rey Mysterio into the ring barrier. In obvious pain, Mysterio was led back to the locker room by WWE officials. However, The Ultimate Underdog was still able to compete and returned to help his team by pinning both CM Punk and big Ezekiel Jackson. In the final moments of the match, NXT Rookie Alex Riley helped thwart the full force of a 619 from Mysterio to Miz. But, the strike was just enough to stun Miz and allow The Ulimate Opportunist to seal the deal.
Bryan Saved by LeBell
Live from the Target Center at WWE Bragging Rights, Bryan succeeded in proving that on this particular night, he was the better champion. The action was intense and kept the Minneapolis crowd on the edge of their seats with many near falls. As the two Superstars battled back and forth, Vickie kept screaming words of encouragement for her beau. But Vickies piercing screams werent enough to distract Bryan as he once again captured Ziggler in his painful submission hold and forced the Intercontinental Champion to tap out.
'Nat' a Chance
Like numerous WWE Divas before her, Natalya has often found herself on the receiving end of Lay-Cools verbal venom. While other competitors might be discouraged by Layla & Michelles persistent taunts over the last several weeks, the third-generation competitor has countered their so-called real talk with her unmatched athleticism and indomitable fighting spirit. Outmatched and, as the WWE Universe can attest, outclassed, Lay-Cool resorted to their infamously underhanded tactics to leave the Target Center with their heads held high, their noses in the air and the Divas Championship in their grasp. At WWE Bragging Rights, appropriately, the devious duo had plenty to brag about.

Last Week:
Superiority Test
WWE Champion Randy Orton def. World Heavyweight Champion Kane
WWE Champion Randy Orton made a rare trip to SmackDown to take on World Heavyweight Champion Kane. With major matches looming at WWE Bragging Rights for both Superstars, it was WWEs Apex Predator who prevailed after a distraction from an unseen Undertaker. Following a brief moment of darkness in the arena, Orton struck with a blistering RKO for the win. After the loss, a rattled Kane searched about for his brother. Then, The Deadman finally revealed his presence by emerging right through the bottom of the ring to grab hold of The Big Red Monster! With Kane grasping at the tattered mat, The Demon of Death Valley pulled his brother below the ring. Is it an ominous sign of things to come in their Buried Alive Match at WWE Bragging Rights?
Kelly Kelly & Natalya def. The self-professed "Co-Divas Champions" Layla & Michelle McCool
In a match featuring Lay-Cool mocking members of the legendary Hart family, Natalya served up some retribution by making self-professed "Co-Divas Champion" Layla submit to the Sharpshooter. At WWE Bragging Rights, Layla will be the one to defend the Divas Championship against Natalya. Who will prevail when the Divas Title is at stake?
Edge def. CM Punk by Disqualification
In a match that Edge called for against CM Punk, mayhem ensued when members of Team Raw interfered. Although the match was ruled an immediate disqualification win for Edge, it was far from over. Chaos reigned as Superstars from both brands tangled with one another. In the end, the blue brand stood tall after The Ultimate Opportunist Speared Punk. Which brand will reign supreme at WWE Bragging Rights?
Alberto Del Rio def. John Morrison
After driving himself to the ring in a Mercedes, Alberto Del Rio went to work against John Morrison, who requested the bout at the start of the night. Despite picking his opponent, The Monday Night Delight failed to win on a Friday, after he was forced to submit to Del Rios highly-effective cross armbreaker.
Jack Swagger def. Santino Marella
In a match called for by Jack Swagger, it was mascot mayhem when Santino Marella struck the "Swagger Soaring Eagle" with his deadly "cobra" strike. Next, Hornswoggle capitalized and hit the bird with a splash from atop the ring steps. Finally, The All-American American put an end to the hijinks when he forced Marella to tap out of his painful ankle lock.
Big Show, Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston def. The Miz, Sheamus & Ezekiel Jackson
The night kicked off with members of Raw and SmackDown issuing challenges to each other as well as a major tone-setting win for the blue brand. After Big Show downed The Miz with a brutal chokeslam in the ensuing Six-Man Tag Team Match, Rey Mysterio finished off the Team Raw captain with a stunning splash from atop the shoulders of The Worlds Largest Athlete. SmackDown is looking to carry the momentum forward to WWE Bragging Rights.
Tonight:
Phenom's Funeral
With the help of Nexus, World Heavyweight Champion Kane buried The Undertaker alive at WWE Bragging Rights. Now, The Big Red Monster will condemn his brother to an eternity of darkness in a funeral set for SmackDown on Syfy.
