The real war begins!

The ROAD to Wrestlemania is over, now we get to see what kind of product the wwe is going to put on: would be boring, predictable and stale like most of last year? or Would it improve because of the fact that now they are in a battle with TNA?( I don't call it a war because TNA is not yet on equal footing with the wwe in terms of resources and other shit like that)
The TNA fans know that the real monday night battle begins after the Road to Wrestlemania so that's why they're not depressed at all with the low ratings tna has received and besides, it's not like Rome was built in a day.

IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER FOR WWE IN THIS BATTLE:
They shouldn't really be too concerned with the fans flipping to watch TNA because majority of the wwe fans will remain faithful to wwe programming specially the younger audience, but they should take note that their own employees are cheering for TNA because they might want to someday jump ships or cross the line just in case they feel that they are being misused, underutilized or not just happy with the current product.

If I were part of the creative team I would respect TNA and try to make a good product that will make your employees happy and not want to look as TNA as an alternative.

By the way, here's a WWe star who might consider joining TNA:
Shelton Benjamin- what can you say? Even charlie haas, his buddy, told him not to renew his contract.
Problem is maybe he just doesn't care whether he is being used or not, maybe he just wants the $$$ :D

TNA will change their timeslot in april i have read on some sites and that i think is positive ...maybe they can take advantage of starting 1 h earlier and the possibility for a great rating is there..i mean how hard can it be?? put RVD and jeff hardy in a tag team or some like that and that will do it.

as fair as shelton benjamin goes i have heard in a interview with haas that he will probably stay for the cash, haas i think will end up in ROH . Goldberg should join tna, that will be the final card tna needs..but hes probably after the main event money in wwe.

Goldberg is nothing but hype, and WWE proved that. The guy can't even do more than 5 moves, at least Cena has become more fluent with his moveset and is improving. Goldberg has always been garbage.

In fact, TNA doesn't need any of the WWE guys. It was the X-Division that put TNA on the damn map, and if TNA wants to win this war, it's the X-Division that they need to put into the spot light.

As for the OP, I too believe that this will be the start of the war, and I'm really interested in seeing how things pan out. I mean they're already going to lose HBK and Taker, so that's taking away two top players right then and there. TNA, however, still has AJ Styles, Abyss, and Beer Money. Sure they're not as famous as HBK and Taker, but if given the right advertising, they could really go far.

I think WWE will have a slight dip in the ratings until after the Draft. They seem to get a decent ratings spike after that because of the fresh faces on each show. I do see them booking their shows a bit better after Mania though. Look at the last 4 or 5 Raws leading up to the Royal Rumble/EC ppvs. They were all solid shows that progressed storylines and gave us fresh ones. I always write the month of Wrestlemania off in terms of creative ideas on Raw/Smackdown because they have to build the fueds they already have planned for the big show. No sense in starting something 2 weeks before the show then not using it. With TNA taped already, I have a feeling this Monday will be an absolute slaughter. If the move up to 8pm goes well, then I could see them making this move permanently, and that would be very smart for them. Don't make people chose which show to start with. 80% of viewers will stay with WWE, because its a safe bet. If your already on before Raw, then if you have momentum, then people may just hit record on Raw and watch the last hour of your show instead. That would be huge. Do I think that will happen, of course not. I don't have confidence that TNA can capitalize on momentum when they get it. The last 3 months or so have proven that point.
