TNA just can't keep surprising and throwing swerves every week on Impact. Some consistency on the show starting with their programs needs to be taken care of first and they will need to work on their quality of matches. The younger talent needs to still be exploited or this will just be WCW all over again. While TNA had a impressive night compared to Raw, I give WWE the nod here. Until TNA can go 2 to 3 weeks at the very least of quality programing, I don't see them ever beating out WWE.

Seriously TNA dominated, and how 51% of people who view this site think Raw was better is just ridiculous. Guarentee their basing it off what company they like more considering Raw didnt have more than 30 min of in ring action and TNA didnt have more than 30 min of talking.

they dropped back to the low ratings they've gotten years ago. Lord knows if that's winning anything and a success then your business would go bankrupt quickly.
yea they did get a bit of a low rating on monday. But Impact is still one of Spike TV's highest rated shows. And as far as going bankrupt goes. I think your thinking back the original monday night wars. When Eric Bischoff Was working with Ted Turners Pocket book of money. TNA is a well managed Family Owned buisness and WCW only went out because Vince Russo dropped the ratings and The Aol, Time Merger When Aol decided they wanted nothing to do with wrestling. And TNA Can Survive if They were to get 1.0 Ratings Every week. Infact they would still be making money if they were to keep a consistant rate of a 1.0 rating. so i think they are far from going bankrupt.

And if you JUST said that WWE won because more fans watched their show, then wouldn't that mean they won the night?
Yea i also said that everyone wins with a war. It was clear before even before March 8th That WWE would Win the ratings. But I personally believe that TNA had a much better product. Let me ask u did u tune into any of Impact? im Just cerious weather or not u viewed as close as u shouldve before start Claiming how good of a product they have

And if you think either product put out their absolute best, then you really have lost touch with reality. WWE isn't trying at all, and TNA's product sucks.
You really believe anything that comes out of vince mcmahons mouth. he has said he isnt worried and they dont think of them as competition. But his actions seem to speak louder then his words. Rite after Hogan Announced that TNA was going Live on Monday night. WWE Signed Bret hart. that is with out a doubt a reaction to TNA. Better yet they had him guest host going up against Impact. And Y did they have Mr.McMahon Wrestle on the Same Night Hogan Was Wrestling. U dont c any simularities there. They're both the authority figures Going up against the face of they company. Even The WWE Fans dont think they're putting out the best possible product.Y wouldnt They, Leadup to Wrestlemania, The War, They had no reason not to at least try to put on a good product. But i Dont think TNA Sucked. Sting Returned, Hardy Ran In, RVD Wrestled, Showcase of the X-Divison, Old Rivals Hogan and Flair, AJ and Abyss, Anderson getting attacked by angle, The Knockouts. but w/e I thought It was a great Show. And Yes TNA is putting there best product out there. All the high points in TNA were showcased on Impact: The Legends, X-divison, Veterns, Knockouts. But w/e.

O.K., i will granted you that, if your a fan of un-logical storyline and big surprises that are so predictable that a 5 year old kid could figure them out then yes IMPACT was the better show. But let be honest here, and him not writing that to bash TNA in anyway, but was anything on last monday'S IMPACT made any sense what so ever. Sure Raw was a slow pace show compare to IMPACT but at less everything made sense if you excluded all the Criss Angel stuff. Just the opening segment on RAW was worth it, the undertaker/HBK promo was one of the best promos i've seen in years and sold the importance of that match at mania. The fans that watch that promo will be more convince to buy wrestlemania based on that promo. The John Cena/Vince Mcmahon match helped sell the PPV has well plus the visual of Batista standing over john cena to end the show just made that match at mania that much better. The HHH/Sheamus segment was brilliant and it help establish Sheamus as a major star.

While on IMPACT, you had Sting turning heel which by the way you could see a mile away as soon as he came out to the ring, RVD debut which was pretty much ruin by Taz. a X-division title match that Mike Tenay and Taz couldn'T care less about. The Knockout tag team title match that was so predictable and boring that it made the WWE divas look good. Beer Money turning heel for no reason what so ever. Hall and Waltman still able to get in to the building even through they don'T have contracts. And a main event that was decent but again didn'T help anybody plus jeff HArdy's return that was ruin by Spike TV because they ran out of time.

Wow that compelling television, i most buy destination X right now! Nothing on IMPACT made any sense and it just looked like they were trying to do different stuff to see what would stick and what would fail. TNA failed to grab the casual fans attention and it's not disguising your problems with flashy surprises that you will get the casual wrestling fan to show up. Because when all thoses surprises ends and the casual fan will leave you if you don'T give them a reason to stick with you and right now, even with all the big name guys that they've got.

TNA is at a crossroad right now, if they decided to stick with the road they are on, they will fail because shock T.V. is dead and bury, if you don'T believe me look at the ratings for most reality shows. They need to create their own identity and being WWE from 10 years ago is not going to cut it anymore especially if they put more talking and less wrestling on the show like they've been doing since January 4th.

I enjoyed Impact more. It wasn't a perfect show, there were things I didn't like, namely the Beer Money/Jarrett and Anderson/Angle segments, the first which I thought was very random and the second which took the heat out of the feud a little but everything else was very good and Destination X looks really good on paper.

RAW wasn't a bad show, it was just dull. I'll give credit to WWE because most of the Mania buildup has been interesting but this weeks show wasn't at all. The HBK/Taker and HHH/Sheamus segments were ok but I wasn't a fan of anything else and I'm already a little tired with seeing Orton/DiBiase/Rhodes in the ring together because I don't think their styles mesh that well together.

So, yeah, 1-0 to Impact for me.

Raw was awful. It was so boring. The Legacy vs. Orton match had me very bored, and I ended up watching TNA when that match was going on. The only reason saw any of that match after I switched to TNA was to see someone get punted, but that didn't happen. I liked RVD's debut, but he should've ended it with a Frog Splash, not Rolling Thunder. I didn't watch either women's matches. I didn't care for the gauntlet match, and I didn't care for the ShoMiz vs. Black Magic and the White Shadow match either, especially the awful promo Morrison delivered in the end. His inability to talk really makes me question his future, but then again, Jeff Hardy made it to the main event and he was an awful mic worker. Speaking of Jeff, I liked his run-in, but I had a huge WTF moment when TNA went off the air right before he delivered the swanton. Like seriously, what else does Spike broadcast? Manswers and... other than that, I didn't watch too much of TNA. I primarily watched Raw, but I was so bored. Like, really, Criss Angel, you did nothing for me. Your "magic" tricks served no purpose, because you were told what to do anyway. you knew where the knife was, you knew the number, and you knew that you had to scream like a ****** to introduce to the fans a horrible Main Event. WTF was the point of Kofi's run-in? All he did was tbag Batista and get a Batista Bomb. I was wondering where the hell he was, because he didn't get put in a qualifying match. Instead, Evan Bourne gets the crap beat of him Regal, but pulls a win out of his ass and becomes the token crazy jump off the top of the ladder guy along with Shelton.

EDIT: Delete this post. I accidentally posted this. My real post is below this.

All in all, I liked neither shows. Raw was HORRIBLE. TNA was nothing special from what I saw, but it wasn't horrible, so I give TNA round one. If they can somehow win Round 2, they are a very legit threat.

Why everyone thing this is a "War" is beyond me.

Yes Impact threw all they had in store for that Monday, big deal, they had a lot of surprises, they put on very good matches but still even the worst part of Raw got almost 3 times more ratings than any part of Impact.

If we base the score on who wanted to put a better show the other part has to care about it and WWE is not caring about competting with TNA, I mean they are aware and monitoring TNA but they do not care to outmatch TNA because it does not matter what TNA does, they know they are going to go on top every time.

What you fail to realize and the people at TNa fail to realize is that is way too soon and TNA has to be carefull how they manage theirselves because they won't be able to keep the estep if they continue like this.

This is still not a competition, just look at the ratings: Raw: 3.55 and TNA: 1.0 rounded of .98.

TNA is a work in progress, I know you all want the war to reborn really bad but is not going to be this soon, is going to take years, yes years, and a lot of hard work, way more than the one they are doing to ever aspire to Raw level of audience, it will also need a lot of faith of Spike TV and patience not to cancel them or moving them back to their original slot.

I am not taking TNA out but it is going to take a lot more from them to take Raw to school.
