Which was his worst season. Hmmm.

yeah Ben was nearly killed, then got his appendix removed before the season started. Like that didnt have anything to do with it.

and they were still nearly on the doorstep of the playoffs. They needed a long line of things to happen and they didnt. even in his bad season, he still out produced our back up.

They are all very equal, nobody is really better than the other, they can all succeed if they were on good teams, end of story, please let it be the end of the story.

And Romo came in as a back up and single handedly turned our franchise around. So yeah..

yeah Ben as a back up came in and went undefeated in the regular season plus a playoff win in his first season, while turning a depleted franchise around. so yeah.

Just saying, you said at least Ben led his team to the playoffs, well so has Palmer, so another argument of yours is irrelevent, seems to be a trend. They have been on a downfall because there defense has gotten worse every year.

Note: ALL THREE ARE VERY GOOD QB'S!

Oh bullshit. Ben stepped into just as good as a situation as Romo. You got lucky, that's all it is. Not to mention you really only won that super bowl because of the worst reffing in the history of the NFL.

what happened in Palmers playoff experience? they lost and haven't been back since.

Gary Roberts.. FTW!!!!!!!!!!! :headbanger:

he out produced his back up?!?, he's the fucking number 1 QB, it's his fucking job to out produce the QB!!...for fuck sake Brian just stop, please just fucking stop

Its not his fault they have not been back, how many times do I have to say that? In his playoff experience he tore his ACL, if he hadn't they probably would have won, there defense was actually decent that year.

You won, go ahead and let it go. Take a poll and everyone would agree but Xfear.

GOLF? TENNIS? BOWLING? What do they all have in common, they involve one person, one person in responsible for his/her success.

HOCKEY? FOOTBALL? BASKETBALL? BASEBALL? Now what do these have in common, they involve and entire team being responsible for the teams succes, not just one player!

excuses. Blaming the refs, on a game.

I believe in 2002 the Steelers played the titans and loss on a bullshit roughing hte kicker penalty twice, when Townsend ( i believe it was townsend) ran into Nedney ( never even hit em). Yeah bad calls, but they shouldn't have been in those situations for them to be in that.

Good situation? Explain this a 6-10 season right before this. they get the 11th pick in the draft. Their defense was getting old, and they were having some problems at receiver, plus their special teams were pretty bad. So i really dont see this "good" situation when Roethlisberger took over.

Alright I am done, thats it, you cant deny that last point, no way around it and that is all your have to base your argument one, the TEAMS success.

yeah but his argument in the beginning was Ben was a systems qb. So if it was the beneficiary of a system, Stewart, Maddox, or Batch should excel, and they didnt.

The year he won his superbowl it was the system. The system was, okay Ben all we need you to do is hand the ball to the RB and when you do throw it, dont make a stupid play, if you can do that we will be fine. Thats what I mean by a system QB that year, he wasn't asked to make big plays.
