I was thinking to myself last night that if that was the only major WWE show I got to see live then I couldn't have asked for a better one.

But yeah I'm definitely fucking going to the UK takeover.

I'm always reluctant to look up wrestling stuff on my work computer - I'm on my phone right now - because of the visions I have of the guys in IT presenting my boss with it but I really need to know the dates and locations of these NXT shows. I'll obviously be going to the Takeover (I'd probably pay upwards of £1,000 for good seats but don't tell them that) but I'd like to go to a show in Manchester or Glasgow or somewhere else exotic. Let's not fuck around - the Takeover will be in London.

Newcastle is the first UK NXT show.

The last NXT show I was at in the UK was Barrett's winds of change promo.

The pop for Enzo and Cass (who came out to kick the night off in a decision which was perfection) is rivaled only by the nuclear heat Eva Marie got.


Not to mention what appeared to be a massive ref botch, as when the three (ish?) count happened, it seemed like he forgot it was supposed to be a two, or someone didn't kick out in time....either way everyone in the ring seemed surprised and confused, including the ref himself especially Emma, who won, and perhaps was not supposed to.....

So was Tiger Hattori, the Chairman, Gedo and Liger. Meltzer's said there is nothing to it, they were there to watch the show and WWE treated them well while they were there. They were in town for the weekend to work the ROH shows it made sense for them to check out Summerslam.
