This is an interesting show as we have the matches that were taped prior to this past weekend’s Takeover special. I can’t imagine we’ll see anything that gives away show results aside from highlights for the sake of the live crowd, meaning this could be a different looking show. This episode is also ninety minutes long. Let’s get to it.

I think Eva Marie is an example of why NXT is still, at the end of the day, the development brand. I really don't see her being someone Triple H would go, "yeah, she belongs on this show, she fits what we're looking for", I see her being someone Vince or someone in Vince's ear is saying, "her, we need to push her, shes on Total Divas and that show makes us look like an extravagant industry that models will want to get into, yeah, push her, push her hard", even though it's not going to work.

She's on that show to learn. She's the perfect example of someone who would benefit from being able to work in a TV environment to learn the ropes that isn't widely seen, like how WWE used to have three development territories all of which had small TV shows. E.g. OVW, where you could learn all these things that you can only really learn by doing.

I believe Becky got knocked silly, thus Emma picking up the win. Charlotte did the ending sequence of the match after the fact (I believe she was supposed to win), followed by Dana initiating the post-match brawl spot.

That is the first time I have felt "legitimate confusion" as a crowd reaction, because it was blatantly obvious that it wasn't supposed to happen.


Good job on Drake for following through on the count like he is supposed to, and idiotic of Emma to try and flail herself off the pin at the last second.


Its even more obvious on the TV showing, since you can see the ref say "What happened??" to Emma when he raises her hand.
