Things are starting to pick up again in NXT with Kevin Owens making another appearance last week to lay out NXT Champion Sami Zayn after a successful title defense against Adrian Neville. These two are on a collision course and there’s no way the match isn’t going to be awesome. Let’s get to it.

Itami's best match by far, shame Breeze is saddled with whatever surprising subtle feud with Marcus Louis.

Itami looks like he's finally figuring out how to blend his style with the "WWE Style", & as a result he's finally having the great matches everyone who knew him from before knew he was capable of having.

Axel is doomed to being either the next Brooklyn Brawler or "the other guy" in any tag team he's ever in. He can't talk for shit & his look is about as bland & as boring as you can get, about the only thing he has (supposedly) is that he's great in the ring.

The Breeze/Louis feud really is interesting. I'm genuinely concerned about what Louis is gonna do be it destroy Breeze or be his biggest fan.

How will it end? And will it be at the next takeover?

Eh, if they're sticking to the schedule last year like it seems to be (first NXT Special was in February of last year as well) the next special would be in May.

I watched Itami's match like a proud father - a proud father who criticised and bullied his child until he got it right - because it really was rather good, but that finish! Yikes. Usually anti-climaxes of that magnitude are reserved for my bedroom.

The announcement of the Zayn/Owens showdown made me as excited as anyone - particularly because I just didn't expect it so soon - and Sami's appearance was suitably fiery, but what was the purpose of showing Owens tweeting? Talk about menacing!

Nice. What was even better was Sami taking out the trash like a fiery tornado. That man was in no mood for wrestling, he wanted to kick some ass. Good to see that side of him once in a while.


Also, I am digging the creepy uggo stalker angle with Louis\Breeze more than I thought I would. Not by far going to be a memorable feud, but it is funny.

Itami has improved leaps and bounds in the four m,onths he's been there. At this rate, well, who knows?

If he could just decide which fucking variation of that kick is suppose to be a finisher everything would be fine. Sometimes that running kick bounces from regular reversal, to signature, to one day it's putting people away and the crowd never knows if they're suppose to buy that the match is over.

This will all be solved when he hits the GTS at the next live special but there's no reason he couldn't have kept using the double foot stomp to the chest.

Blake and Murphy look exactly the same but I'm amused by their music and entrance so I look forward to a longer rematch with the Dragons.

I'm confused which feud Tyler Breeze is in, Louis or Itami? Hopefully Itami so they can have an even better match at Takeover only for Louis to cost Breeze the win and they can continue whatever they're doing later.

Anybody else catch the beginning of Tyson's entrance? They're doing the Solomon Crowe hacker gimmick, give it a chance before you hate it Norcal.

It's an absolute crime that Tyson's spinning neckbreaker move isn't used as a finisher often enough. Neville's powerbomb is fucking sick.

Emma back down in NXT again....guess it's better than Superstars.

Corbin/Bull was actually starting to become slightly interesting until another abrupt ending, there's absolutely no reason that feud needs to continue, or for Bull to really exist at all.

I'm going to feel crushed when Owens takes the title away from Zayn, that or it ends in a no contest if they somehow don't make it no DQ in the next couple of weeks.

On this weeks episode it is stated that their match is for the NXT Championship.

WWE also posted an interview with Kevin Owens and that brunette interviewer who asks him about his "upcoming title match at NXT Takeover" and Owens says he came to NXT for the title and hes going to take the title, but they removed it because they obviously copped it contained a spoiler so I expect that to be reuploaded this week.
