The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

It seems that Ascension are just like LOD & Demolition in the vein if shit mic skills.

Hey now I love the Ascension. You know that Sam. Stop being a slanderous ****e for a moment.

Kalisto & El Local v Ascension confirmed for takeover. Luchas winning becomes basic confirmation of a call up one could hope.

People who still dislike The Ascension are either po-faced or stupid. Or both.

WWE's Twitter of all things spoiled the result of the main event triple threat for me, so I'll be watching the show (am, in fact, watching the show - on the opposite side of the screen to where I'm typing) without any sort of tension.

Crowd chanting "This is awesome!" during The Ascension's match makes me think the post I read about "the crowd being so bored by The Ascension that they created chants for them" might just have been the most obvious bullshit thing I've ever read.

The crowd even prefers them to the Luchas or whatever the fuck their name is - the faces.

Hilarious promo though.

If they're half as good as Road Warrior Hawk saying he was going to bum Ric Flair, they have fantastic mic skills.

The main event was good.

Kidd was the least obvious choice to face Neville at Takeover and I just don't see him ever coming out the victor. Breeze or Zayn would have been more believable as next NXT champion material. Either way, I'm sure Sami will have an opponent, and that excites me.

Tyson Kidd's flying elbow drop is approximately fifty times better than CM Punk's. I think we can now safely say that being able to do a good flying elbow drop doesn't make you a great professional wrestler.

It's actually eerily familiar. I'm sure The Ascension will get into the rape threats once they get more time with a microphone.

It’s the go home show for Takeover next week so odds are we’re going to be seeing a lot about Tyson Kidd tonight. The other main story coming into tonight is the last chance for Bo Dallas. He’s facing Big E. tonight and if he wins, he gets a future shot at the NXT Title. If he loses though, he’s done in NXT forever. The ending should be fairly obvious at this point, but the reaction should be awesome. Let’s get to it.

Bo Dallas Is Glorious

Some results from a recent show by a long term fan that may give us a peak into what's coming:

JoJo (babyface) & Veronica Lane (heel) served as the guest hosts for the night. JoJo was very over, which has been noted in previous live shows.

2. Travis Tyler, who has been sporting a new "high class" gimmick, and reportedly works wonders with the chracter, picked up a win against Wesley Blake (who apparently is no longer a cowboy)

3. Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger picked up another win, this time against Aiden English & Simon Gotch, who've also been tag partners before. The English/Gotch duo is very over, as babyfaces.

Eden continues to show a heel persona, someone described it as somewhat similiar to Maryse, she did an interview segment with Tyler Breeze.

5. Kendall Skye picked up a victory over Alexa Bliss with a neat looking leg-based facebuster. Pic related is the submission part of it.

6. The Ascension picked up a non-title win against Los Luchas. Kalisto continues to impress.

There was a ring segment with Adam Rose & CJ Parker. Yes, that happened, yes, it seems that it went as bad as you think it did.

7. Bayley & Becky Lynch picked up a win over Charlotte & Sasha Banks after Bayley hit the Belly-to-Bayley on Charlotte. Bayley & Becky continue to sport similiar ring styles and impressive tag team moves. Described as the match of the night...again.

8. Enzo Amore is officially back, he managed Big Cass during a victorious outcome against Sawyer "The Man" Fulton, but there was no Carmella in sight (boo).

9. Camacho picked up a victory over Angelo Dawkins, who seems to be playing a generic babyface role.

10. Mojo Rawley and Tyler Breeze faced off in the main event. Not sure who got the win.

Opinions
Simon Gotch is such a perfect fit with Aidan English as an old timey duo. He's a fantastic worker too especially if he keeps the "Gentlemen Bruiser" gimmick.
Kendall Skye has been signed for a while(Longer than Sasha I think) and reportedly has extremely stiff kicks a lá D-Bry's. I've seen pictures of her executing the face buster finisher and it looks brutal.
Are they actually gonna go ahead and push Camacho? I like the guy and he's pretty impressive but he needs 1. A new name & 2. Better fucking ring gear. Call him "THE MOST DANGEROUS MOTHERFUCKER ON THE PLANET's son"
ENZO AMORE IS BACK!!! Let us rejoice and note our next tag champs.
I want Mojo & CJP to get long lasting injuries, preferably in a match against one another.

Here's a thought NXT trainers; give Mojo Rawley the ponce as his finisher, much better than that current shit.

Here's a thought Mojo Rawley; stop looking like a giant thumb.

What actually is Mojo Rawley's finisher? I've seen people disparaging it but for the life of me-- I don't think I've actually watched one of his matches in months.

And it really doesn't suit him. It suited Earthquake because he was massive. Mojo ain't.

WWE have been uploading hype videos for Takeover (when is that?) on YouTube and this is, for obvious reasons, my favourite:
