The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

In case you haven't been made aware yet, the NXT home release includes a previously unreleased Cesaro-Neville match from the Columbus show last year where I believe they taped KO-Riley and Bliss-Banks (only matches I remember).

I finally got around to watching this last night. The match is good. Really good. Deserved a better crowd. Watch this match.

I'm absolutely fine with her getting airtime - as, shockingly, I was for Sami Zayn when he was trading blows with the King of Strong Style - and absolutely fine with her getting ringtime. She had a really good match with Bayley, which was predicated on Bayley being much better than her but the powers that be conspiring to change the outcome. My problem lies with her beating up someone who's supposed to be the in-ring equivalent of Galactus - in Galactus' first appearance as champion.

You sound just like a WWE fan.

We’re back at Full Sail this week and things should be getting interesting again in a hurry. The next Takeover has been scheduled for June 8 so they only have about a month to get wherever we’re heading. Samoa Joe is the new NXT Champion and tonight we may find out who he’s facing next. Let’s get to it.

Grumble Grumble

Yea I saw the reveiw and was confused.

Nothing about this show was flat at all. The crowd was white hot all night, EY was a great suprise, the crowd was rabid during Dillinger and Aries which was fast paced and entertaining, and I though Joe and EY was very good?

See, Young is way up there on my all time most hated list. As soon as I saw him I groaned, which is een worse since I knew he was debuting.

I don't mind EY. I liked his goofy attitude when he was doing that and that is what drew me too him. I can see why that would rub certain people the wrong way though. I enjoyed his fishing show too.

I enjoyed this week. EY could be interesting, although I'm perplexed as to what happens with Balor next.

Tessa Blanchard is a surprise. Shame to see her squashed the first time I see her, but needs must to build Jax & all. Still, there's an obligatory Charlotte team/angle in her, so I'll refrain from judgement until later on.

I think in spite of my previous fears, No Way José will grow on me. And Dash & Dawson continue to look mean. Awesome stuff from those two. Hope we can see AA defend or at least wrestle in the next couple of weeks, gotta have fighting champions!

For the life of me, I can't seem to understand why Ty Dillinger has not hit main event status and isn't being pushed to the moon yet. His gimmick is incredible, his entrance is 100% on-point, he's good in the ring, he connects with the fans, and his look is where it needs to be. And if I recall correctly, he's got skills on the mic, as well.

WTF WWE?

I think it's a matter of time. He's in the Tyler Breeze spot at the moment.

According to the main page Eric Young hasn't signed a contract yet. So there's still hope he won't sign. I don't know what it is about him but he's always annoyed me.

Nia Jax did this week what Asuka should have done last week. Right now that inevitable feud is the unstoppable force vs. the moveable object.
