I get the no piledriver situation/rule. I do not get this. What's next is probably headbutts in any variety, especially given that this Bryan thing is on everyones mind. Granted he should have nixed those from his arsenal, but now it will become likely an edited out/banned move.
There does need to be a line though. Editing everything that has or could cause injury isnt possible. They can be cautious without going overboard & chopping up matches. Otherwise the WWE Network will just be a scrolling disclaimer & a gif of fluffy ducks that costs ten bucks a month.

Yeah, but it is called the Cena-canrana now & thus kid safety approved and untouchable. The only banned kick to the head seems to be Orton's head punt, but that is because he doesn't make enough tshirt money & the word 'punt' reminds Vince of his failures in football.
I've definitely seen Orton's punt be used after its supposed banning. As WWE's only genuine superfinisher, I'm fine with seeing it sparingly. He definitely should have used it in his fucking last man standing match with Punk though, that was bullshit. He used it on the New Nexus in the fucking lead-up! Oh, what move do I have that stops people getting up? Fucked if I know! Bullshit.

Nia does essentially make Kong obsolete, and she's only going to get better. However, I'd have said - and did say - the same about Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. What I'm saying is: Kong would make an excellent gatekeeper and I'd look forward to an underwhelming one-time encounter between her and Jax.

Kong's appeal comes from her relentless smashing of the pretty ones in her division. Nia Jax is just that & has the added benefit of being a younger homegrown talent.
Kong is great & I enjoy her work, but this would essentially be like having two Big Shows on a roster. Doing the same thing separately until they eventually clash. Plus, it isnt like there is a tag division they could dominate. That could be interesting, but other than that I am not as excited for this as others may be.
