The Miz & Cody Rhodes get the last laugh?

ive always been a fan of miz ive liked him from the start when everyone booed him i always thought he was great on the mic and now everyone is starting to realize that when he lost the US title to truth i couldn't believe they "dropped" the ball on him but letting him get it back so quick proved his worth once again and since then hes come on to talk back to orton and a few others and what he did to truth monday night just furthers the proof that hes a bad guy and a bad guy getting booed means as much as the good guy being cheered when it comes to show hes doing is job right.. i hope he keeps riding the waves of his cockiness and hope he starts going up against some more high profile ppl and getting wins or some really good fought matches that end more by luck then a clear out victory for who ever hes up against.. id love to see him become world champ eventually as long as he keeps going the path he is atm i see it happening in the next year or two.. good for him coming from where he did to prove everyone wrong and accomplish what he has in so little time



and then their is cody rhodes.. i have NEVER liked this guy he looks like a toothpic and is quite bad on the mic and was always in teddys shadow.. i dont like the new dashing gimmic hes got and i dont expect him to last long near the top he cant be taken serious sorry but could you see "Dashing" Cody Rhodes vs The Big Show for the wwe championship ending in a rhodes victory? lol no.. i still to this day dont agree with myserto so it wouldn't be any different for him let the MITB match finish and let him die back down to midcard where he belongs fighting KOFI for the IC tittle

I don't want to make this a long drawn out look into the inner working of my mind as it pertains to this situation. I think the OP is dead on accurate in his statements and that both The Miz and Cody Rhodes indeed have proven the naysayers wrong. I am not at all shocked by Cody Rhodes, I've been talking about him going up for a long time. The Miz however I did not see doing all this and being as good as he has been thus far. I am impressed with him and I am glad to see that Cody Rhodes is getting a shot of some kind. I still think that all Cody Rhodes needs to really launch himself is to change his attire up a bit though. Otherwise I would say both of these guys are on the right track and their former counterparts better get moving fast if they want to catch up.

I'd never have thought Cody would fall into obscurity to be honest purely due to his father.
The Miz though for all how good he is on the mic and i was even starting to fall for him being alot better in ring but that R-Truth match at F4W was absolutely terrible. For me The Miz won't be able to put up a match himself unless someone carriers him he might be ok in RAW matches but PPV forget it.

He'll be WWE champ one day though due to his mic talent. I don't want him to be though.

Great Topic, I wont go long becuz so much as already been said but I didnt watch when the Miz/Morrison was a tag team but it seem like early this year Morison was getting a BIG push but it just stopped out of no where. What the Miz is doing is classic his skills make him a middle guy at best but his MIC skills are leading him into MAIN EVENT status soon...

I feel that The Miz has proven himself and will be in the main event sooner rather than later. He's definitely showed that he is way better than Morrison and he is only getting better. I do think Rhodes is getting there but he's not quite there yet. Let him develop his new "Dashing" character a little more and get into some bigger feuds and I can see him leaping over DiBiase for sure. But I also think that with the right direction, DiBiase can really get over with his character. These men are the future, and it's not going to take them too much longer to get close to the top.

The Miz:
Well we all know about the Miz and how he's come from being a reality show dufus to one of the most impressive promo-pieces in the wrestling world.
I think that promo where he did a shoot on JBL and Benoit (although not directly mentioning his name) was the turning point.
He just needs to fine-tune it with his wrestling and he can be a one of the best heels of all time.

Dashing Cody Rhodes :
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this gimmick is gonna take off. His first gimmick promo was fantastic. He is very good in the ring and you know what, just give him old tapes of the Ravishing Rick Rude and NWA Ric Flair promos, tell him to study them and he will be destined for greatness.

He has finally found a gimmick that showcases him at his cocky best and I believe he will go on to be better than Ted Dibiase...yup!

Yes both of them,
1. Miz more than Cody
Miz is on RAW,
& Saying it's hard to get T.V time with John Cena. Randy Orton, and Edge all on the same brand and stand out is an under statement,
There are really only 2 superstars who are doing so,
Miz and Bourne,
The only diffrence is that The Miz had to give himself a push,
Miz isn't stupid,
he knew what ppl thought of him,
Nothing but shadow of Morrison, riding his coat tails (which I admit is what I said),
He dropped the shorts and the hat and ran full force to stardom,
Like he said,
New look,
Same Mouth.
He took the shadow he was in and choked Morrison w/ it,
& Shoved the Coat Tails down his throat,
& He is now standing at the door he was running full force towards,
& Every week he's kicking it harder and harder

2. Cody Rhodes
This one flat out shocked me,
6 months ago I would of argued w/ anyone that Ted was the future out of the 2,
But to be completly honest,
to me,
There tied,
Ted has a diva valet now and the Million Dollar Championship,
But Cody is getting more T.V time over on SmackDown promo wise w/ a new gimmick,

So we'll see

I can see your point but I voted for just the Miz.

With Miz and Morrison we all expected Miz to be gone pretty soon after they broke up and Morrison to sky rocket to the top. Since the break up though we’ve seen the Miz fly. Ever since his feud with Cena and then his attire change he’s been absolute gold and one of the most deserving of winning MITB on Sunday. Morrison hasn’t fallen into obscurity yet, his time on Smackdown went really well but on Raw he’s starting to fall back into the shuffle. Morrison had a great World Title match last year with Jeff and held the IC title after an amazing match with Mysterio but that’s the only 2 real things I can remember of him since he split from the Miz. The Miz on the other hand has excelled over the past 12-18 months. He’s held the US title twice and held the Unified Tag titles once. He’s feuded with Cena and put R-Truth out of action. Yes, in this team the Miz has excelled past Morrison.

Now, with Rhodes and DiBiase I disagree with you. Yes Rhodes is actually doing better than I thought but I’m still much more interested in DiBiase. His promo’s are always decent and his wrestling is much better than Cody’s. Cody on the other hand has a boring gimmick with the whole mirror and dashing thing and he hasn’t wrestled a great match in ages. I’m not a Cody hater, far from it. I actually liked Cody more than Ted when they were a part of Legacy but since that ended I’ve seen that Ted is indeed the better superstar with more chance of success.

I see Morrison, Miz and DiBiase as future world title holders but I never see Cody getting one.
