The doctrinal divide in Islam could be to blame for any graffiti on religious sites, not any lack of holiness on behalf of the adherents of that mosque.

Or, you know, it could be their neighbours of a different religion who are not too happy about the position of the Al Asqa mosque...

As i said at the start im indifferent to the war, as others have said i believe both sides to be in the wrong. If you think I'm being one-sided in my counter-arguments/additional comments it is probably because the only responses that have been dead set serious that have taken a side thats not "both sides are wrong" has been pro-israeli and its been horrendously poor arguments that needed to be shot down in case someone actually used them to form an opinion

As for "pandering to a terrorist organisation" the taliban started as a legitimate army that was trained by the U.S if I'm not mistaken. So whether an army/organisation is a terrorist group or not can be a little blurry at first. Not saying Hamas is or isnt a terrorist organisation but I'll make my decision when peace, or as close to peace as the middle east can get, is achieved. Which will only happen when/if Israel admit they evicted Palestine and both, and the rest of the world, come to an agreement over the division of the land. Only then will I pass judgement on Hamas.

Fighting terrorism with terror does your cause little good. It depletes goodwill from the world as a whole while turning Hamas into Hydra with an increasing number of heads.

Dude I've been saying that all along. It's BECAUSE I'm Jewish that I feel like I have to defend the homeland of the Jewish people. Don't mistake me. I'm not a Rothschild zionist. I'm a supporter of the LAND.

There are many things that Israel and you need to learn.

That not everyone in Gaza is a member of Hamas.

That not every Muslim wants the destruction of Israel.

That bombing Gaza into the Stone Age will undermine the two above.

Israel is being increasingly stupid about these strikes. If they know where Hamasi positions are, send in Mossad or a Special Forces unit. Don't level the whole building or more accurately (less accurately) the civilian building beside the target. Don't condemn the entire city for the presence of a significant minority that have only succeeded in pin pricking Israel.
