I just wrote a long post explaining my views, but even after trying to reedit it, there's just no way not to come across as an asshole on this topic, no matter what side you're on. It's just an awful situation and I hope it can somehow get resolved soon in a more peaceful manner.

If you kicked someone off their land and left them in refugee camps I'm pretty sure you would have a strong hatred towards them.

I'm not 100% sure on this one but wasnt there a UN vote over the whole Gaza strip solution that someone(again not 100% sure on everything) come up with that everyone was in agreement with but America who used their veto power bullshit(not a dig at the US, but rather the whole UN system).

Both sides are shitty in this conflict. Trying to take one side over the other is stupid unless you have personal bias towards either faction.

Personally I think the leaders on both side escalate the conflict every few year to gain economic and political support.

In this particular war, Israel is at fault. They are the ones who started it but (with USA's help) trying to make it look like Palestine's retaliation was the starting point. Where would they get all these arms and weapons if it wasn't for USA's constant aid? USA is using Israel to get their job done, without getting their own hands dirty.

No matter whether the fight is for land or whatever, Israel has no right to deliberately attack civilians to send a message. Their actions have been nothing short of terrorism and mass genocide. Innocent people getting killed for no fault of theirs, people wailing on the streets, their limbs separated from their body, mother holding her dead baby in her arms, its skull crushed- these things are just terrible. The other day, 50 Israeli soldiers resigned from their job, because they agreed what was happening was wrong and its not what they signed up for.

USA Government, as usual, is acting as Israel's advocate and is trying to make it look like the latter are the victims. Thankfully with the reach of the internet and media in today's age, not everyone is buying their bullshit. USA is also the reason why neutral countries are reluctant to step in and intervene.

Another reason why I think countries are hesitant to support Palestine *scrolls up* (okay, bar room, good) is because, well, nobody likes Muslims. I mean, come on, let's be frank. Muslims + Christians = Trouble, Muslims + Hindus = Trouble, Muslims + Jews = Trouble, Muslims + Muslims = Trouble... you get the point.
If they intervene here, they are not gonna gain anything; Palestine is gonna go back to their old ways in no time. The intervening country will only lose ties with a friendly nation and land their relationship with other nations in jeopardy as well.
